So, basic question that's been here on my mind...

 

If you like a person's post and then a Mod Delete the thread after some time(Delete, not just lock), does the poster still have those likes that were given to him?

 

Example: I create a thread, 2 people like my post and the Like Quota goes up +2. Then, when a Mod Delete the thread, will I still have this +2?

Yes I'm fairly sure they still count towards your "like" total. I have had a post which was liked a lot. The thread it was in was then deleted but my "like" total didn't go down. However when you go through your history of liked posts the post which were liked in a deleted thread won't show up.

The threads are not technically "deleted."

 

They are moved to a forum called "BioHazard." So I'm pretty sure the likes will remain in effect.

Yup. It would take me a long time to track down the original quote from the mod who told us about it (it's locked in the old BSN) but I'll paraphrase what he said:

 

They're moved to a hidden moderator-only thread called 'Bio-Hazard.' Yes, really.

 

 

 

 

A sense of humour was at work when naming it, clearly!
