Just asking here what do you think is/are the epic moment(s) in Dragon Age Inquisition?

I personally though that the whole quest from In Your Heart Shall Burn was super well done and I even got chills when later they all started singing. Not to mention the epic part that also happens while going over to Skyhold and being declared the Inquisitor!

By the way here is an epic & emotional tribute I made to honor the true awesomeness of Dragon Age Inquisition:

Well made!  In Your Heart Shall Burn is certainly one of the most epic quests I've done in any RPG.

Though I'm also quite fond of the Siege of Adamant.  Clarel's sacrifice in particular sticks out in my mind.

Yeah, I agree that that was certainly one of those epic moments. On a more personal/minor level, the first time I slew a dragon that had previously been kicking my butt was pretty epic.

That mission was really awesome, it reminded me of the Lord of the Rings battles.

hahaha, I really get you on that; those bastards take forever to kill, especially if they have armor. Also, the cutscene with Iron Bull after you have slain your first dragon is cool too. Drinking a lot and getting your Inquisitor drunk. xD

@angros: Yeah, drinking with Iron Bull after killing a dragon was a lot of fun (although if I were the one drinking, I probably would have passed out before even finishing the first tankard).

First dragon kill. Absolutely. Mine was the Fereldan Frostback, and it took three tries. Drinking with Bull afterwards was the perfect capper on the day. I admit to giggling at Inky's reactions to... whatever was in that mug.

@spork: Same - I had to have revenge on the FF for the time that I unsuspectingly wandered up north and saw a bunch of elfroot (including royal elfroot) that I immediately ran over to and started grabbing. It was fun - until I suddenly got hit by a fireball, looked up, and noticed the big, angry dragon!

I first saw her flying around fairly early. I think the nearby camp was the first or second one I established. Turned the corner, saw the dragon, thought, "nope."

Went back a few levels later and ventured a little further into the area. Got BBQ'd. Reloaded. Did some other stuff instead.

Finally went back at level 12, had almost completed all the Hinterlands stuff I could, up to that point, and just closed that damn rift by the river, so I was feeling a bit invincible. Decided if I didn't at least try to kill a dragon, I'd never get anywhere with Sera  :P

Frosty still BBQ'd me twice before we finally killed her.

@spork: I have this bad habit of fixating on resources that I can grab - especially elfroot - which means I tend not to pay attention to things like, say, the sky and/or things that are flying around in the sky - lol.

 We need an "Addicted to Elfroot (collecting) support group or something.

Stroud (or Hawke, Loghain, or Alistair) sacrificing himself against Nightmare, to allow the Inquisitor and the companions to escape.

I LOL'd when Clarel got messed up by the dragon. I thought that part was funny.

In your heart shall burn was pretty epic. I love it when Cory's dragon comes up behind you and howls at the moon! I also enjoyed the whole falling into the fade bit at Adamant.

Taming the dragon at the altar of Mythal was pretty cool but drinking from the well won't be my canon world state. I really enjoyed the game of wicked grace cut scene, gave me warm fuzzies seeing everyone hang out.

Your Heart Shall Burn was fantastic. It's my favorite part of the game.

Clarel's sacrifice was pretty good, too, and the dragons were awesome to fight.

I have to thank myself that at least I had to decide between hawk and strout. Deciding between Hawk and Alistar would of been reaaaally hard. haha

The playing wicked grace scene kind of gave me a reminder of the Citadel DLC from Mass Effect 3. :))

The attack on Haven. The Dawn Will Come. Finding Skyhold and being declared Inquisitor. The siege of Adamant and Clarel's sacrifice. Morrigan meeting Flemeth. Eating cookies with Sera on the roof.

Fighting and beating the High Dragon in Crestwood *before* fixing the major issue of that area. It's still dark and stormy and all that type of atmosphere all about, and fighting a dragon in that kind of setting was one of my favorite moments.

That was the first dragon I had ever fight, and got killed a few times.

I'm going to do that next time, sounds epic.

Dragon Rodeo.

Shield bashed off a slant into the air, on top of it, bouncing around like an Avaar on Opium. Fell off and died. Good times.

The whole In Your Heart Shall Burn is just pure epicness on a stick.  Everything about that quest is so amazing.  From clsoing the breech to the battle for Haven and then the song to the discovery of Skyhold.

'The Fall' just really epic music.  In fact all the music is epic in this game. :P

And also spoiling various groups fighting Giants and then killing them both.  :P

Another vote for In Your Heart Shall Burn from me too. The desperate struggle against overwhelming odds. "At this point, just make them work for it." Some of the best dramatic battle music I've ever heard. Then the song of hope in the cold and dark. So good.

And Cullen rallying the Inquisition and declaring the Inquisitor never fails to give me goosebumps. "Inquisition, will you follow? Will you fight? Will we triumph?" So awesome. So proud. Grinning like a loon.

That reminds me. One time when I watched the dragon vs giant battle on the Storm Coast it ended with the dragon actually killing the giant, then as it flew off I went over and looted the giant's corpse for some pretty sweet rewards. XD

How long did that take? :P  I mean its one of the buggy things about this game that it seems when enemies kill each other they are really bad at it.  But when they kill you or you kill them suddenly they become...much better.
