You know, I realize the final mission was kinda lame and felt waaaay too short, but I also thought Corypheus LIFTING THE TEMPLE OF SACRED ASHES into the sky was epic.  Also Morrigan fighting the Red Lyrium Dragon was pretty dope.

My only problem with the mission itself is that the combat encounter is very easy, making the whole thing rather anticlimactic. The Location itself and the dragons fighting was indeed epic :D

kind of bugged me that our companions all looked normal with red lyrium eyes, and leliana after a year of torture looks like a half eaten corpse... yeah, either make our companions look the same as the corpse or make leliana look a little more normal...

From what I understand Leliana was infected with the Blight, whereas our companions were Red Lyrium addled, and that's why they look different,

The encounter is easy, and there's literally no buildup to the fight.  It's just "Hmm, I wonder where Corypheus' base is, oh never mind there he is, oh wow that trip went by real quick, now let's fight."  And then he dies in an easy battle.

I liked the ending well enough, but I am disappointed with it's execution.  Bioware have done far better Last Levels in the past, I'm amazed that they kinda screwed this up.  Probably something to do with time constraints or cuts, which is unfortunate.

That's very true, I still remember the epic final mission that origins had.

That makes more sense now

I've just got to add, arriving in Emerald Glades. I love forests and that place was just... where's my walk toggle?! More seriously, it was awesome.

Also, the very last few lines between Sera & my quizzy. :D

Killing the Ferlden Frostback when I was level 11. Was down to the last party member, completely out of potions and you could barley see any health in the health bar, but I did it. Of course a Dragonling killed me the moment the freaking Frostback died. lol

This isn't really that epic, but it stood out to me when Corypheus in Haven was holding my Qunari Inquisitor by his arm and all I was thinking was "My Qunari is pretty much Fezzic the Giant from Princess Bride compared to others, but Corypheus is larger still. Umm, Corypheus, how about we have a battle of wits with our laugh Sicilian?"

When you're declared inquisitor. Gets me every. Single. Time. I love it. Most of the conclusions to main missions are really satisfying actually, but dang lifting that sword made me feel epic.

"You expect me to fight, but that's not why I kept you talking... enjoy your victory, here's your prize!"

In my opinion, the best quip to throw at Corypheus in Haven before you unleash hell with that trebuchet and quickly skedaddle.

How long did that take? :P  I mean its one of the buggy things about this game that it seems when enemies kill each other they are really bad at it.  But when they kill you or you kill them suddenly they become...much better.

That reminds me. One time when I watched the dragon vs giant battle on the Storm Coast it ended with the dragon actually killing the giant, then as it flew off I went over and looted the giant's corpse for some pretty sweet rewards. XD

I watched them fight for 10minutes from a loong distance. then cleared out a nearby cave still North of the battle. After coming out they finished their battle, giant died, I got the XP AND the LOOT! Dragon always flies off if you get too close

Here is a pretty epic moment. Killed a Gurgut while trying to track down the White Wyvern.  The moment it died, Dorian cast his resurrect spell. The Gurgut grew nearly two times as big and split into two. The clone simply flopped over dead. You can also see the original textures for also glitching through as well. I'm probably going to go back to that area and kill more Gurguts, just to see if I can trigger the glitch again and at lest get more screen shots.

Damn, didn't know about this one.  I think the only one I've used is "Your arrogance blinds you.  Good to know!  If I'm dying, it's not today!"

From what I understand Leliana was infected with the Blight, whereas our companions were Red Lyrium addled, and that's why they look different,

No Leliana was unusually resistant to the Blight.  They were experimenting on her, and removing bits of her to graft onto Felix to try and cure him.

These are the notes that you can find during the quest:

Studies on the Blight

Introduction of blight to prisoners yields no discernible pattern. Disease progresses erratically; some subjects die within hours despite all efforts, others show no symptoms at all. Subjects may harbor some natural resistance, which makes isolation and testing a priority.

A Later Entry Follows:

Six more subjects died. Transfusions of blood from resistant prisoners slow the rate of corruption only slightly. Healthy flesh taken from live subjects and implanted in the infected will often die even before corruption spreads to it. In cases where implantation is successful, blight corruption spreads across donor flesh faster than host flesh. Prisoner Leliana has been the most useful source of resistant blood and skin to date.

Oh yeaah I remember that! But was that what Alexius was referring too when he said the elder one could save his son?

When my Inquisitor decided to let an empress die because it suited his purposes in the Game. It reminded me of what Leliana says during her mission, about the noble's playing the game for relatively petty personal influence and prestige but the Divine playing the Game at a level where the stakes included nations. And here the Inquisitor is playing for the sake of the world (and personal power but the official company line is 'the world'). It really drove home the amount of influence the Inquisition possessed in a world racked by such upheaval.

Honestly one of my favourite moments in my gaming history.

Most epic moment for me happened while I was running through Crestwood and I noticed a Druffalo being attacked by a wolf pack. I watched as they merged with a second pack and cornered it against a boulder. Suddenly the Druffalo shot several stories up into the air, sailing over the wolves and landing behind them, sustaining massive damage in doing so. Despite having but a fraction of health remaining, that beast still managed to stomp every last wolf into a bloody paste. Tragically, it dared too much and attacked me. It had no more strength left, and a single stab of my spirit blade ended its life.

RIP The Druffalo Who Flew

The Elder One lies to get people to come to his side.

I totally get this. I let the Empress die in my current game. It was pretty cool to see the group just stand there and let it happen. Afterwards, when talking with Cassandra about it, Inky said (something like), "For once everything went according to plan." I was surprised that he could be so ruthless, because I haven't been playing him that way at all.

I liked the middle option because it showed that our Inquisitor was savvy enough to recognise that Corypheus is the type of villain who enjoys monologuing, not realising that all he's doing is give the hero time to figure out a clever means of escape and/or thwart him.

He's not seen the Incredibles, clearly?

There are so many, and I'm still finishing the game. Obviously, the Fall of Haven/Skyhold sequence was uber epic, and very personal when it came to saving people in camp. There are still a couple I regret and miss when wandering my keep.

Like many others, my first experience with a dragon was the Frostback in the Hinterlands, and while it didn't outlevel my group too badly, the landscape, the dragonlings, and just the feeling of the battle that this was a DRAGON, not to be trifled without peril. I died several times, and finally, bleeding and limping, my party finally managed it down. It was tremendously more satisfying than my experiences in Skyrim, or even fighting the Archdemon back in DA:O. Since then, I have completed the Dragon Hunter achievement, and while there were some difficult and challenging fights, none have gripped me as that first encounter.

I will critique somewhat about the differences from DA:O, but the interactions and banter between the companions is extremely fun to see again. And I'm impressed as hell so far with some of the personal companion quests. I care about my group, and how they feel about my character. That's always been one of my favorites about Bioware games.

Adamant Fortress, talking down Clarel and trying to save as many Wardens as possible. As my character points out, these were heroes who had saved the world countless times to a debt that could never been fully repaid. To oppose them was harsh and painful, remembering the struggles of my Hero of Ferelden, and the efforts done as Commander of the Grey. But evil could not be allowed to win their hearts and souls.

I could go on, but I'm gonna go play Inquisition some more :D
