So I am almost ready to hit the last quest. But just wanted some advice on any quests that really should be done before hand.

 

You know what I mean. I don't want to get to the epilogue and see something like 'Oh, you didn't get that tea-cosy for Solas? Well he burned himself to death on a teapot after the final battle'.

Everything listed in the "Inner Circle" on your journal must be completed before going to Temple of Sacred Ashes for the last battle...

You won't be able to do that post-ending.

 

For the rest (shards, bottles, mozaics, whatever it is) can wait if you want.

My recommendation would be to simply save before you head on to the final battle, since while you can play post-campaign, you won't be able to do inner circle quests or even talk to you're companions anymore. The companions do have some comments though about variations in the epilogue, so say hello to them, and when you're done, reload back to the save

The epilogue is not quite that detailed. It covers mostly the major decisions you made. But as stated the Inner Circle quests are no longer available afterwards, so any that you want to (and can) do should be done before the final quest.

Complete Inner Circle quests and any dialogues with the companions/advisors. You won't be able to have those after the last mission.

Everything else will still be there.
