Cassie is by far my favorite character, but I'm not very good with actually playing her. I've spent some time with her in practice mode, but I can never figure out any good chains with her combos and special moves. Anyone know any good mix-ups for Cassie (Hollywood variation, specifically)?

 

Also, I've gotten quite good at Cryomancer Sub-Zero, if I may say so. I've lost only 2 fights online so far with him, and 1 of those 2 was because of the awful netcode.

Its been a pretty crazy week of MKX for me, from good night where I went on winning streaks to bad ones where I couldn't get a good connection to save my life But I have found plenty of characters I have tons of fun with from Kotal Khan(main) to Ferra/Tor who is just plain fun. I find it funny though how just about anyone can play with Sub-Zero & Scorpion and just be good lol I did zero training with Sub and wrecked 5 differents guys In any case I've got 5 characters I'm really feeling so far Kotal Khan, Ferra/Tor,Shinnok,Reptile, & Quan-Chi. Only Kotal & Ferra Tor are ones I know a decent amount of combos for though but I do mix it up with the others in player matches. Gonna be running Jacqui & Cassie next week but for now got 2 new vids recorded last night featuring Shinnok and Reptile

I've gotta stick with player matches, as I tried to do some ranked matches last night, but aside from 2 of the matches I was severely outclassed by players with 100+ matches  and 100+ wins.

 

The worst was a Grandmaster Sub-Zero who hid behind his ice clones, with the runner-up being a hellfire? Scorpion (the one who summons demons).

I've never encountered a Grandmaster SZ who DIDN'T just hide behind the clones. $20 says he is going to be nerfed sometime down the road. 

 

Inferno Scorpion is the one who summons minions. Hellfire Scorpion is the one that gives him unblockable specials and a Fireball projectile.

Week 2 is in full swing and I am running Jacqui Briggs and lovin' it but so many things are still needed to be learned and I'm always surprised when the unexpected happens like when I encounter a character he no one zones with suddenly starts to zone O_o

I simply go Full Auto and the" hide behind your clone strategy" is completely out the window

No, they wouldn't. The DA in the original timeline only served to segue into Deception, since Samsung and Crunchy were the ones who unearthed Onaga's tomb. NRS could invent new characters to do that same thing, or have Kotal Kahn do it (they never did resolve his invasion of Earthrealm in MKX, so that could lead into the next game).
