Netherrealm is doing a livestream tomorrow at 3 pm CST, showing off Reptile and Kitana I believe.

 

I'm sure everyone has seen or heard of this, but I'll post it anyway.

Personally I hope Jax, Sonya, and Liu Kang aren't playable

Yeah. Sonya is replaced with Cassie, Kung Lao is cooler than Liu Kang, and Jax is alright and all but I'd rather see some more new characters especially since we've seen more of the Klassic characters recently.

Hopefully Neatherrelms is doing what I suggested a long time ago saying add characters we can fight in the story and towers (other than the bosses lol) but not having them be playable

Missed seeing it live, enjoyed seeing the concept artwork, though I'm feeling a bit "eh" on Kitana and Reptile's alternate costumes.

 

Kinda wanted to see Goro, ah well he'll probably be in the next one. I wonder what the brutalities will look like.

We know 5 characters were confirm from that trailer according to Boon.

 

Erron Black

Takeda

Kung Jin

Jacqui

Mileena

 

Those are likely the 5 characters he is talking about. The others shown for now will just be cameo who could return as DLCs.

Story Mode looks great, not a surprise considering I really liked the story mode for MK 9 and Injustice.

You should get it, and yeah it is really cool that they toned down the female proportions and outfits even on Mileena.

 

I'm still hoping Reiko appears and is playable

Sounds reasonable, though I don't think Netherrealm studios have had a broken launch though their only problem seemed to be with online.
