But according to Takeda's match intro, Scorpion serves Quan Chi once again. Why?

Intro may differ depending on the costume, like if you pick Jax's demonic alt. or Scorpion human  alt.each of those represent the characters at different points in the storyline

Not exactly, similar to MK4 and Injustice Liu Kang can be the main villain and playable

I've seen a lot of b**ching and complaining about the Kombat Pack as of late about how $30 is too much for 4 characters, but nobody mentions the skins. And when people to mention the skins, they totally ignore or forget about the Samurai Pack skins. the Samurai Pack is the only pack that doesn't include another character, but it does have 3 skins and is included in the Kombat Pack and is part of the $30 deal. You get Jingu Kitana, Samurai Shinnok (who looks f**king incredible, I might add), and Ronin Kenshi. From left to right: Kitana, Shinnok, Kenshi.

All I see that's extra (aside from the Kombat pack) is exclusive key art and the Kold War Scorpion skin.

I'm now expecting Netherrealm Liu Kang to turn on Shinnok or Quan Chi and somehow make himself the big bad.

Agreed with the others. MK9 Sub Zero sounded cool. When I hear Steve Blum in this role, I don't hear Sub Zero but Steve Blum himself instead.

 

Other than that, game looks great. MK9 and Injustice were both amazing and I'm hoping MKX is no different.

The Dragon like appearance does scream Onaga but looks like he realy slimmed down compared to his previous appearance if thats the case
