Erron Black is just BEASTLY, well worth the wait and really liked Liu Kang though that face tattoo on his Dragon Fire Variation looks a bit out of place for him as for Shinnok....he was kinda boring

Erron has by far the best X-ray. It reminds me too much of the arrows that Yondu has in Guardians of the Galaxy. The one he controls with his whistling.

In the option they will allow you to have another way to play .. SOmething similiar to Street fighter control scene.

Loving how epic story mode starts off, Johnny Cage beating Shinnok...my man is LEGIT haters

Hope Fujin is the unrevealed unlockable character for story mode, hes been shoehorned to the background for far too long

Havik was the one controlling Fox, Raiden, and Sub-Zero when they became possessed by the Kamidogu Dagger

Considering Havik's activity in the comics and Boon's "surprise returning character" comments, I'd guess at this point that Havik is the villain. Either that or tied to the villain somehow. Only problem with that idea though is that Havik isn't "evil", per se. He's chaotic neutral. I haven't read the comics, but have they said anything about why Havik is being suck a d**k?

I was somewhat dissappointed that Tanya isnt in the story mode (unless she is but they hid her behind a pay wall, or just have her in cutscenes)

I'd gladly pay $60 for the story mode alone. It was the main thing I loved about MK9 (alongside the excellent fighting mechanics).

 

Story mode should be a standard for fighers now. NR studios dont get enough credit
