The problem I can see myself in is that my hands aren't that big, they're kind of small actually for the average.
I have small hands and big mouse
Seriously, depends on how you hold your mouse. I use only 3 fingers and it is not any problem:
It's very easy to use any kind of mouse like that, the downside is - all the side buttons are useless with this kind of grip (I use only standard 3 buttons).
Btw this is my god know how many times repaired Razer Lachesis mouse. Razer has terrible quality.
DPI - that image in Zwingtanz posts says it all. Lachesis has max 4000dpi but I never set it above 800dpi - that is all you need so don't pay much attention to DPI when considering your purchase.
All in all if you want to be safe go with MS or Logitech. If you want cheaper mouse you may consider A4Tech. They have brilliant drivers for macros.
Logitech G700 works for me.

Hellu. I'm looking to get a new mouse for my computer, specifically for this game, so what do you recommend? Price range doesn't matter, I just want a good quality mouse, no need for all the fanzy illuminations, and no wireless either. I was thinking Logitech's G-series, what do you think?
To make things easier:General info about my use:
- What mouse do you currently use
- What mouse do you recommend
- What mouse do you recommend for Dragon Age specifically
Mice recommened by the community:
- Right handed (small hand size)
- Roleplaying games for the most part
- Palm or fingertip mouse, both is fine as long as it fit nicely.
- Extra buttons are fine too, but not overwhelming
- Ankher
- Logitech G500
- Logitech MX518
- Razer Taipan
- Razer Naga
- Razer Deathadder
- R.A.T 5
- Roccat Kone XTD
There is one mouse which is so far superior than any other and his name is Mickey Mouse!!!! ![]()
I'm finally down to my last Logitech MX518, I'll be sad when it has to be put to pasture... Guess the G500 or G700 is the natural replacement.

j/k logitech g400s
I currently use Cooler Master Inferno, but I plan to buy Roccat Tyon in near future.
But if it comes to Inquisition I don't think I ever used anything beside scroll, left and right buttons, and binding any other mouse key isn't supported by game - it's only possible indirectly, through mouse reconfiguration. That means that buying anything expensive solely for this game misses the point and there isn't much use in extra mouse functions.
But if I were to recommend something I'd go for Roccat Tyon, because I want to buy it in near future. Will extra buttons be overwhelming though? You'll have to decide on your own.
Mickey or Jerry
Thanks guys. Still doing some research so by all means recommend me more if you want, but ehm, probably not a real mouse like some of you were suggesting ![]()
Razer DeathAdder, finest gaming mouse I've ever played with. Good software suite, very easy to set different profiles for different games, unbelievable smooth and responsive. I've used it for everything: FPS, MMO, RTS, RPG, never found anything as perfect.

For this game? I recommend a 360 controller mouse
,
My previous two mice have been logitech, but after the first had single-click-issues (it wouldn't respect mouse-hold, so it was impossible to drag with it) within 2 years I got a freebie replacement under warranty. That second mouse was the mx performance mouse, and in less than a year it can't seem to hold a charge on the rechargeable battery.
It turns out Logitech mice are well known for having these problems, but to be fair they are very good at no-quibble replacements under warranty. I guess they know they have problems.
So I vowed not to bother with another Logitech and go for something better, even though that means spending more money. I am extremely happy with the Razor Mamba I decided on. It doesn't have too many of the gimics (although configurable light colour probably counts) and can be used wirelessly or wired, whichever you prefer. I prefer wireless and one of the reasons for choosing it was the charging dock, rather than the mx performance's crap USB cable charging mechanism. It has the usual forward/back buttons plus two others, that you can configure with the Razor software how you like.
Logitech G400 if you can find one or the closest resembling one to it. BEST MOUSE. I tried many others. Logitech rocks. Also, I recommend not getting anything with too many buttons because I just end up accidentally hitting them, it's more of an annoyance.
I play with a 360 controller though. Sit on my couch and rock out!
Recently decided to get a better, gaming-suited mouse after my older cheap logitech mouse started glitching.
Now I've got the Razer Taipan Expert Ambidextrous mouse. I've been quite happy with it thus far.
Needed an ambidextrous mouse as, while I am right handed, I have always used the mouse with my left hand. Started out because back when I got my first mouse, I only had room for it on the left side of the desk, and I couldn't easily rearrange my setup. Learned to use the mouse with the left hand, and it kinda stuck. I CAN use the mouse with the right hand also, but I prefer to use my left hand, leaving my dominant hand to operate the keyboard.
