Or whatever it's called. The thing is I was given a war table mission to capture and tame one, after which I was told it should be in my stables. However, it's not there. Does it only appear if you bought the right version of the game? Or is this another glitch?
Dracolich?

Did you change mounts at the stable? You have to choose the dracolisk from the list of available mounts. Only one can be in the stall at a time.

How do you even get one of those things? I've never found any and my Qunari would love to have one.
Dracolich war table missions can be received once you get any damage against dragons bonus.
The easiest way to get this is to harvest the dragonlings in the Storm Coast. You can kill one of the big ones if you like, heh heh

Wait, what does that mean, "get a damage against dragons bonus"? You have to craft something? Or is this something you automatically get by fighting dragons?

When you kill enemies (in this case dragonlings), you get research items (you know those yellow valuables that some people sell, oy vey
) get them to the researcher.
Take a look at the codex/creatures: when you have enough research items for a creature class (dragons in this case) you get a bonus for that enemy class.

What the hell is a dracolisk anyway? Looks like someone mixed a little dragon in when breeding the perfect horse.. I'll be sticking to my red hard anyway.

I'm not sure about the damage bonus, but I've got the missions popping up on the war table after I killed a dragon. And yeah, always have to be careful to go to the researcher before selling my stuff.

You get the dracolich quest either after you kill your first high dragon or after you've killed enough dragonlings to get the bonus.

You also have to turn it creature items (which go in valuables) from dangonlings or a dragon to the researcher (near Josephine in Haven or, in the Library near Dorian in Skyhold.)
