I hadn't initially thought about going heavy armour on my mage - Silverite could make it happen but I thought that Templar armour ended up looking like some dorky robe on a mage.
Only I spent a couple mins playing with the armour crafting and the heavy free army armour appears to look like proper heavy armour on a mage, and shares the same rough model as Templar armour.
Unfortunately I don't have any Silverite to try crafting it, nor do I have the schematic yet. Any kind forumite willing to oblige?
Anyone have a picture of what Templar armour looks like on a human mage?

Cheers. That looks horrible.
I wonder whether I should be looking for warden heavy armour schematics instead.

Note - that photo shows Dorian. Not 100% sure it will look the same on a human Mage Inq. Dorian seems to have a unique look. Perhaps some one else can say for sure.

So I'm guessing heavy warden plate is the way to go, then. Is there even a schematic for that?

I think you can buy it at the Dalish merchant in the Exalted Plains, you will need to improve your reputation at the Dalish Camp by doing some fetch quests for them.
