Tips for party strat. Two warrior with two ranged or a ranged and a stealth dags is best party. If you control one character most often than not have the other warrior defend you, the stealth guy defend the warrior defender and have the ranged follow themselves.
Always enable preffered dodge moves or guard moves and barrier. Also stry different strats using a steath dagger or even strong stealth archer followed by another ranged make sure both are tealth and its preferred and they can dodge, They make a good team if you have them both defend each and wait for enemies while keeping yourself clos to t them. Also try have all defend themselves with one character defending you/controlled character to make enemies come to you if they are not all wraiths.
I don't like turning tactics off as i have to go into the menu to turn them back on a again and rather have them on otherwise you have endless options but also an endless battle.
Also when u have a character Defending themselves they will hold position as I will sometimes use just two or three of my characters in a battle while contanty making my mage hod to save him or my power archer from taking to much damage and only have them attack when the two warriors (defeding each other are surrounded and if their are too many ranged annoyances OR i have one character defend me one follow me and then the ranged or mage or both both follow me as i beserk arund attacking every thing at once ith warors (My character or Blackwall. Like Cassandra though cuz ive had her with a mace and Master Inuisitiin Sheid and some kind of coat. Badass. Bull.. just sit their and say stuf if you ened up in a cutscene BTW (I want to kill companions.) andc
