So I am playing Inquisition right now with a Female Human Mage Inquisitor and I am about 85 hours in. As the title suggests, I am trying to romance Iron bull, and as the title also suggests, it's not working. I have flirted with him, gotten every major approval, except for when my inquisitor chose to take in the mages, and am currently on the mission "What Pride Had Wrought" (and I am reluctant to continue the story for a reason I will tell you in just a sec).
I am aware that it takes a seemingly massive amount of approval to trigger the first real romance scene where you find him in your bedroom (yes, 85 hours in and I still can't do that) But here's my issue, I can no longer gain approval for his character. I made sure and tested it out. I killed some Venatori dudes, no approval. I killed no less that 3 High Dragons WITH him in the party, only gained approval for the first one. I (Major spoiler) drank from the well of sorrows, which I know is supposed to gain his approval, and yet I recieved none fome him. I suppose it should be noted that I was getting approval from him untill recently (the last bit of approval was from the first High Dragon). It should also be noted that I was in a relationship with Blackwall, but decided to break it off after (spoilers) I judged him in skyhold for his crimes as Thom Rainier.
If anyone could offer info on this or help in my reporting the issue to Bioware, that would be awesome as this is a little bit gamebreaking for me. I have also noticed a few others having this issue on reddit and things, but it doesn't seem to be hugely widespread. (I also wrote a similar post, but that post neglected to give spoiler warnings)
