So I am in my third playthrough with a elven inquisitor and my inquisitor's arms seem to be broken/dislocated in some of the cutscenes. I even noticed that Vivienne's arms were dislocated in some scenes. Bioware are you aware? Also, why are the elves shoulder's so freaking narrow and slopped?
Is Bioware aware about the rigging problem with elves?

Maybe there's a circus in town, and the elves are practicing their contortionist acts?

I think they're aware. I've seen other people mention it in the patch thread, and I think someone may have even made a thread just for the elf problem at some point. Some people have said the narrow shoulders are a design choice, but others have said that the actual models for the elves may have something wrong with their rigging. I've played a bunch of elves in my game, and the narrow shoulders don't bother me depending on what armor is being used. The one thing that does bother me is how their arms sometimes just get stuck to their sides; it looks really unnatural, and I've noticed Solas does it, too, in certain cutscenes.

There's a lot of issues when it comes to the files. I'm sure they're aware of them.

On a more serious note, I haven't had problems specific to my elf, just the normal clipping issues.

I have clipping problems, too, especially with the Dwarven Proving Shield, both in cutscenes or just by running around.

There are specific issues with the arms for elven enchanter armour for female elven Inquisitors (and possibly males, but haven't checked) which lead to very strange distortions. Semi-circular arms and hands in cutscenes can be a bit off-putting. However other distortions are minor in comparison, so I found it easy to ignore them. Changing to enchanter coats fixed the massive problem.

THey got your cash they do not care. You can make it out from the abysmal patching, no communications on their own forums.

Well they SHOULD care, it's bad for business ignoring customers genuine issues with the game.

The one thing I did notice was that the Flames of the Inquisition armor does a nice job compensating for the elve's narrow shoulders and painfully skinny bodies. Both male and female elves look great in them. However back in Skyhold when wearing their pjs they look like survivors of Auschwitz again.

No, they don't. In this industry, customers tend to have very short memory of things.

They just won a butt load of Game of the Year awards. Silly little things like this don't concern them or the general gaming community. Welcome to the brave new world of video games.

Other than being very thin, which I have to imagine is a design choice, I haven't noticed a lot of differences between how my female elf behaves (50+ hours in) compared to how my male human did (100 hour). Movement in cutscenes when the camera is father away can be akward at times, but thats just how almost every video game is. Getting better over time.

Bioware does not see it as a "problem", they have been working extra hard since DA2 to make elf look as different and as ugly as they can be ![]()

Yeah, this makes playing an elf, annoying, to say the least. The arms go way too close to the body and seem broken.

Actually, from what I've seen, the general gaming community care about graphics and things relating to visuals. Imagine a CoD game where all the characters look deformed? The kids would all be raging. Whether Bioware are concerned, I don't know, maybe they will fix the problem, maybe they won't.
