That site is a scam, in case you weren't aware of that.

I have bought 50+ games from them and have never had any issues.

The scam might not be in your, the customer's, regards, but it's still a scam...

Thinking that playing on a PC makes you a more skilled player may well be the stupidest thing that I've ever read in my life. Not that I care one way or another, it's only an observation. I play ME 3 with PS 3 FPS. The AI may be dumb as rocks, but they can still kill you very dead while you're waiting 5 seconds for your next frame.

To test it properly, we'd have to have console players play on PC and PC players play on console. There would be some very surprised facial expressions.

Like how? I've never tried it on console, so I wouldn't know.

Unfortunately, when pure ego and one-upmanship are all that matters, no room is left for intelligent discussion.

And for that reason, I'm out.

You lasted longer than me kid, but at my age I'm not surprised. :D

I would love to see some of the great console players move to PC for a bit, I think we would find that great players will be great players no matter what once they get used to controls. And the same with the great PC players moving to consoles of course.

It's interesting to see how a thread concerning the player base on PC ends up in a discussion regarding which platform have the best players, like it makes any difference whatsoever. As long as PC players enjoy their platform and console players enjoy theirs the rest don't really matter.

From what I have heard (never play MP myself), multiplayer on PC is a giant cheat fest.

Modding, we call it modding.

And things like Polonium Ammo, the Chakram Launcher, Vibration Damper and zombie mode are not  easy_win.bin, a quadrillion credits for one Bronze match on the other hand might be a little too much sometimes.

I call it elder game - nothing wrong with exploring the game when you have unlocked everything anyway.

LOL FTL the troll

You do know the PS3 crowd loses about 1 minute of match time to load times vs the PC crowd, right?

Many of the 'great' PC runs are comprised of cheating to various degrees .. you bet it is more skillful to use an SMG HVB and a pistol extended clip on your sniper rifle. Or to mod for an objective which clearly defeats the purpose of objective waves to begin with (gee, whaddya know! another delivery objective!)

And even with all that, potentially the best player to ever play this game plays it on console.

... In other words: you're not getting scammed. But other people are.

Also, you're only relatively safe if you don't lift their "shield", and even then there's still a chance that you pay for a product that can't be activated, although judging by the amount of people who claim they had no problem, that chance has to be pretty slim. And there's also the fact that they ask to have access to your PC to sell you a key, which is a big wtf to me.

All in all, if you feel okay buying from them and you've had no problems, then good for you. I myself won't buy there and I've taken it to bring up these points to people who advertise it. And there are clearly many, since the deals they cut are pretty crazy.

I don't know who you're referring to, but I'll have to strongly disagree regardless, as the best player of this game I've had the pleasure to know is on PC :P

The service is very safe, you are just being overly paranoid. It is basically a place where other users trade their extra cd-keys and giftable games that they purchased when the games were on sale. There is nothing malicious about the site and safeguards have been placed to ensure that the purchases are always successful and if not you will be fully refunded.

I said potentially the best. Obviously that scrub called Heldarion might also be considered in that category ... wrote the ultimate revision in the book on GI play.

Although I assume you are referring to another name from the past ..

Lol, Heldy's a scrub! :P

But hey, I was talking about MOI, the French Canadian guy... I wanna see your potentially-best console player do *that* ;) :P

Oh and @FTL: if you decide not to understand what you (hopefully) read, then you are clearly exercising your right. I, however, will exercise mine and get away from the conversation believing I have done my share to inform people of the scam behind that site.

Haha thanks man, I like you too. I like all of you actually. I wouldn't be here spending time on these forums after half a year of not playing this game, otherwise... ;)

Besides, let me just add this, on the topic of platform comparisons: Bioware cross-platform play for ME4 pls!

Having played on both PC and xbox, I think that it's just too tough to compare the top PC gamers and the top console players. There are just too many variables. The game is too different on the different systems.

Playing ME3 on PC after being an console scrub for years felt like playing a new game. The graphics were crystal clear, movement felt so smooth and to be able to turn while running felt like cheating! I didn't play at 60 fps though, which would have taken a lot of getting used to no doubt. However, I cannot use keyboard+ mouse for the life of me, so I suck on PC.

They just really are two different games on different systems. In the end, I would imagine the top gamers are very similar in skill. However, there are a very select few who can pull pc times on console. Now that is impressive. cough knockingbr4in cough
