My PC is bad to the point where I'm thinking of going back to the PS3, which is where I started, and would still be an upgrade. How's PS3 these days? Can games still be found on all difficulties?

Don't worry the console Auto-aim will do it for you or you can just use Venom Shotgun, just hold the trigger and release when the enemy gets in range. Rinse and repeat to become a pro player on console.

Lol. That's not so bad, it's possible to consistently get the head of any enemy with some practice. The difficulty is more to quickly switch from a target to an other.

It has become quite difficult to find a gold PUG lobby recently, especially when the US players are asleep or at work.

So much contempt... this is becoming ridiculous. Did a console player butthurt you or something like that ? We have understood that you PC players have better systems and better controls on the game, there's no need to spread so much sh*t about console players.

Ok. I can't believe I missed out on a gem like this but here goes

 

Gameplay is much smoother and faster on PC as well. Overall players are better as well compared to consoles.

 

 

This is true until you become very good on PC and find the tough enemies not so tough anymore. But the tough controls on consoles still remain since it has a lot of limitations compared to Mouse/Keyboard and cannot be overcome no matter how good you become on console.

 

...so you're saying that because ME3MP is easier on PC - better controls/OS, more exploitations (i.e. running with pizza and superior reload canceling), etc. - PC players are better than console ones?! That's flawed logic. An easier ME3MP game doesn't make a player better, it just allows for chances at better times, scoring, etc. because the game is easier (not always, of course). One could even argue that an easier time playing ME3MP limits one's ability as a player and, conversely, that playing with limitations can improve one's game (coddling, strength in adversity and all that). But I'm not arguing that.

 

Saying that PC players are better than console players is like saying that professional golf players who golf using clubs are better than professional golf players who golf using tree branches. Sure, the pros using clubs will score better/hit superior shots compared to the ones using tree branches, but don't think that in any way that makes what the pro does with a tree branch any less impressive (indeed, when the pro using a tree branch birdies the same hole that the pro using clubs does...it's even MORE impressive).

 

I'm not saying that you aren't right, just that the reasoning put forth isn't accurate, or fair. Which leads into:

PC = Major League

Console = Minor League

 

Except that these leagues are separated by skill level. Major league players are in the major league and not the minor because they're better. Simple as that. Going with the example above, it's more like:

 

PC = Major League team

Console = Major League Team

 

Except the PC major league team has a handicap of 2 (it is easier on PC, no?)

 

To test it properly, we'd have to have console players play on PC and PC players play on console. There would be some very surprised facial expressions.

 

In truth this wouldn't prove much either. If FTL does better playing on Xbox than Marksmad does playing on PC, congratulations. All that means is that FTL is better on Xbox than Marks is on PC. There is, of course, more to it than that; put succinctly, however, it's more or less accurate.,

 

So basically, what I'm trying to say is that console players golf with tree branches and PC players golf with golf clubs. Also, rofl at everyone getting had by FTL stoking the flames.

Easier controls? Try playing with a touchpad!

 

I chipped a nail yesterday during a firece Cerberus match.

 

I play with the touchpad pretty often.  I have also played this game on the xbox (girlfriend's copy to get her the overload achievement in mp).  I have also played a bit of the last of us on her PS4 controller.

 

My order for fps-like games would be mouse>touchpad>>>xbox controller>PS controller

 

In short, the trackpad isn't too bad.
