Reporting in. They tried to stop me, so I had to fight my way through so many waves of them that my voice went hoarse from screaming "Another wave." But I am here now, and I am ready to slaughter more!

LET'S DO THIS! LEEEEEEEEEERRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOYYYY JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSS

Hallas have no hidden agenda, that I am aware of, so feel free to let them live. However, you should hit them with your horse as they make a hilarious sound. Don't worry, they will live, so you can keep on doing it! :D

OMG Yes, they do, I can confirm! Just about died laughing to first time I ran one over.

Halla usually end up as collateral damage when hunting those conspiratorial snoufleurs on the Plains.

Yeah, I hate, hate HATE killing hyenas and mabari, even though they'll attack you on sight. And their leather is worthless, so it's pointless to hunt them. Most of the time, I'll let them get on with hunting whatever game they're after and move out of range, and only engage them if they attack me first. Also, deepstalkers, fennecs, and nugs. The last is a pity, because their leather is by far the most useful of the T1 leathers.

I admit that I kind of enjoy killing the mabari, but that's because DA2 taught me to hate them with every fiber of my being. Gorram doglords lurking around Kirkwall with their sh*t-ton of hounds. It grew to the point of immense satisfaction to twin fang the everloving mabari crunch out of them.

Personally among many other  disappointing things about this very flawed game I hated the whole killing defenseless animals bit that was introduced. Of course this was made worse by the embarrassingly stupid AI as they love to prance in the middle of battles to get themselves killed.

I apologize if this is offending but I've experianced enough loss to know that I don't care about some pixel foxes.

I have real pleasure in the sounds dying or panicked demons and people make, especially the screams when they are burning. However, when a dragon is on its "last legs" so to speak, I feel really bad.  The dragon in the exalted plains was so pretty.  :crying: I don't kill Hallas but if one gets in the way I don't mind. The wolves ****** me off. They're worse than spiders and in the former DA games those were better too, they used to frighten the willies out of me when they dropped down from the ceiling all of a sudden. Didn't like them much but at least that was kind of fun. A little adrenaline kick.

I mostly leave the animals alone. I feel bad killing snowfleurs, they just rollick around, but then their skin is a T3 craft material (I limit it to 30 skins). I feel as if they would go the way of the Dodo.

Well **** I hope you don't feel that way when you see a real person melting away screaming and there's nothing you can do to save them.

Not really what the title says.

So, do you ever feel bad for any enemies slain in DAI? The Hyenas in the Western Approach make me sad as they whine when they die.

I also had issues killing cactuars and slimes in various Square and Enix games but killing dogs still doesn't sit quite right with me.

The spiders can all burn in a fiery pit in someone else's hell though!

I agree I don't like killing the dogs, wolves or hyenas either and I have to turn the sound down when my dogs are in the room or it freaks them out. Like you though I have no problem killing the spiders LOL

I'm playing a game. It's supposed to be fun?! Don't think about RL when I'm playing and that has got absolutely nothing to do with how I enjoy my game. Stop trying to see more than there is. Assuming... and so on.

This is how I found out the dogs/wolves made a whimper sound when you killed them. I couldn't hear the sounds they made, but my dog would get weird everytime I killed one. I mentioned this to a friend who told me they made a sad whimper sound. I was like, damn. No wonder my dog keeps giving the TV a stink eye.

I've taken to killing all wolves in the Exalted Plains, simply because they kill all the halla. I have no attachment to the halla, outside of thinking they're beautiful and are intelligent for deer :P Plus, I have no way of knowing if those halla belong to the Dalish or not... so I just leave them alone. Sometimes a stray one will get in the way, and I feel guilty about it. I do kill the rams, though. Because my parents live out on a farm and have a bunch of goats. I HATE them. The moment I moved out was the best day of my life.

But at the same time, they spawn in large groups. And boy do I love killing large groups of things! Spamming flamestrike then blizzard in WoW on my mage, or Hurricane+starfall on my boomkin... the number storms made me chuckle gleefully! Especially in 25 man Naxx back during Wrath. Another one was explosive trap+multi-shot on a hunter.

I might have a problem...

Feel sorry for killing digital pixels in the shape of animals? Nope.
