High: triple Volus game with Brannigan and Illegal Algebra. (A 4th guy joined but unfortunately he was a Turian.) It was fun to see a bunch of roly poly mini Darth Vaders running around.

 

Low: kept forgetting that you can Volus heavy melee to cancel damage over time from Banshee Warp.

 

Also, why does the Bonus Power evolution on Biotic Charge never trigger when I actually need it, like when I've just charged into a bunch of Marauders and Brutes, but it *does* trigger when I don't really need it, like when I've charged into some Husks? *sigh*

Low: we kept scrubbing out on Goddess. We did not 'git gud' enough to 'curry' the other two players.

 

High: bought some Spectre Packs and unlocked the Salarian Infiltrator, the Turian Cabal Vanguard, and the JUGGERNAUT!!!11!eleven!1!

I've named all of those characters in Marksmad's honor (especially the JUGGERNAUT which we all know is the best character EVER) so when I am heavy melee'ing Phantoms I'll know deep down inside it's his fault.

With Marksmad you actually had to curry 3 players, so only you did not git gud enuff to curry. Marksmad so scrubby, he couldn´t even curry a feather

Low: Disconnecting from Xbox Live on W10 of a game and losing all my precious Geth Turret points.

I knew we were doing well when I saw the 5 Waves Survived come up, but I didn't want to say anything for fear of jinxing it. (It's like in baseball when a pitcher is throwing a perfect game, Thou Shalt Not Mention That Fact.) And... we had already saved Drake (Batarian Vanguard) from being picked up by a Banshee once!

 

As always the Ravagers were the most dangerous enemy because they can shieldgate you, then healthgate you, instantly -- leaving you vulnerable to any random Cannibal or Marauder.

 

I started being super conservative with Ops Pack use for that reason. Also, super aggressive with Missiles such that on Wave 10 Targets I had none and had to serve as spotter for the others.

 

Sadly ctc91 got picked up during Extraction. (He plays without a microphone so he can't call for help as easily as the rest of us. Not that ctc91 needs any help from scrubs like us. Seriously, ctc91, you are too damn good at this game.)

 

And that's my long HIGHLIGHT of the 10 Waves Survived.

Low - not being able to one backhand shielded Gold mooks with WarLord in Rage... their one point health lifebars still taunt me. Will Shotty Omiblade level 2 ever come and deliver me to salvation? ... No, not the movie. That movie sucked.

In a lolsilver PUG with a good player (lucaMCEA) and two scrubs. We managed to keep each other off the floor against Hydra Collectors. I was the only one with a mic so I provided in-game "counseling" to the scrubs, and they actually listened from time to time. I tried to be nice but I did have to tell one to get the HELLZ out of the LZ. I was using a melee-spec Asariguard, and finally learned a pattern for killing Sky-awns single-handedly (charge, heavy melee, shoot the ugly hump thingy with the scummytar), charge). I actually got to 75 kills for once. lucaMCEA beat me by around 10K, but with the scrubbiness of the other two pugs, the extraction was a pleasant surprise (even if one of them fell off the ramp at 0:01).

I thought telling them that is being good? I usually say "Be right there, just tying my shoelace here across the map where it's safe to do so." Then play "Bad to the Bone" over the mic if on consoles where I have a mic.

Me and a bunch of pugs died a ton of times with revive medal for all on wave 1 White Gold Ceberus... don't know if that's a high or low, but at the end of wave one, one pug said "Well that was an interesting wave one."

High: Fun Wii U Platinums today and had a go with the Drell Assassin Infiltrator.  Fun kaboom!  My time with the volus engineer has made this kit really fun to play with.

 

Extra High: My explosive ammo rounds are now down to only 9 from 60.

Just give it some time, with practice you will get there, using mouse and keyboard is quite different if you are used to game pads. If I where to try MEMP on consoles I'd suck pretty bad before getting used to game pads again, the last game I played on a console were Goldeneye 64, that's quite a few years ago now.

 

I had.  I've been playing on PC for a good year or so and I've realized I am such a sucky player because I cannot aim. lol.  So, now, I'm embracing that fact and adjusting all my kits to compensate.

Low:  Playing with low level PUGs, and suddenly realising that all these months of only playing with friends, has made the game seem far easier than it really is.

 

High:  Dragging myself and them through the games, enjoying the challenge of it all.  Wish they'd learn to control spawn points though, spawning everything on the White LZ is the worst (especially Cerberus with all their turrets).

High: That look on your face when an N7 1 player joins a platinum lobby, clearly seems like he's trying his best but failing, and hangs around for 2 platinum matches.  His first words on voice chat were: "Where's ammo?  I need ammo."

High: brutally difficult but ultimately successful Gold London Cerberus match with my PC account. Wave 10 Escort cost us collectively a dozen Missiles, and a half-dozen Gels, and I'm not exaggerating. We just could not get away from the Phantom / Dragoon beatdown squads... until finally we cleared enough breathing room.

 

Low: somehow a mere ~80,000 credits doesn't seem like enough payout for how painful that game was!

The problem wasn't so much L2P as that of having enough gel to survive the weird spawns

 

I actually achieved my objective of grinding map waves though, so I'm quite pleased.
