I looked at our scorewhoring contest here : http://forum.bioware...ncement/page-21. 850k was the best run with 3 player restricted to adept or vanguards

 

Which would be even more impressive considering you had to preset enemy and map if i understand the challenge right. Or were you just waiting for the right combination to come ?

Maybe we give it another shot with some even more boom-synergizing/faster killing kits and all level 20 (I was lvl 18, TSent was lvl 12).

Low: It was Silver....

 

Followup....

 

Highlight: I finished the Shuriken Challenge. I have now completed every weapon challenge at least once on both Xbox360 and on PC.

 

Bonus high: I never need to use the Shuriken again, yay!

 

Aside: If any of you ever feel crazy enough to do this, use the damage barrel (#3) and SMG Recoil System, and equip Barrage Upgrade. This gives 100% stability. Then put on AP ammo and go for headshots. After the first 100k points, I actually got the hang of it and could kill Cannibals in one burst and Marauders in two. (Also, I put it on the Quarksman, so the drill was Sabotage - headshot - repeat as needed.)

 

Low: Now I have to do 200 waves with the Talon Merc again. Eurgh.

If we are bragging about scores, I once did a Platinum trio where we still scored almost 1,000,000 points.

Thats quite not optimum in my book, so, great run again
if u go for another round, just try 4 reegar kroguard with 60 FPS if possible and watch the results

High:  Had time for a quick match before heading out to my morning bus stop.  Knew the lobby had a good chance at some efficient wrecking with 3 high-ranking players (a GPS GI, a flamer GT, and a SmashDept).  I loaded my zap ammo CSMG QFE to offer debuffs, FEs, and TBs, and off to FB Ghost vs Rippaz we went.

 

Higher:  I bottom scored.  When that happens on Gold, I know we've got a nice group going.

 

MORE Higherer:  10 waves survived in a 19-min match.  Could have been a bit quicker, but nobody was in a rush during the wave 3 targets objective.

 

Low:  The SmashDept had to gel on wave 11 with less than 30 sec to go.  Almost perfect.

High: Last week, I finally was 'good enough' to play with the Cabal with Javelin. It was all right.

 

Also high: Finally learned how to play the Talon GI with AM3 well. I only die every other wave now And I always carry Responder Loadout when I GI... mostly because I can't think of what other good gear I would carry. Maybe Multicapacitor or Stronghold Package... sometimes Survivor Loadout...eh. Anyways, I feel like I've unlocked the cheat codes of "How To Be Good at ME3MP" or, rather, "How Not To Be A Scrub All Of The Time". I don't know. Maybe it's because I can't play all of the time, so I am kind of competent when I can actually play. lol.

 

Don't know if low or high: I got a Venom IX... meanwhile, I still have many URs still at level I. Sigh................... biowarepls

 

I also hope everyone is doing well. I read the forum during idle time or watch twitch but I can't actually start a game while I'm caretaking... so just wanted to peek in   ...   I'll only be on (on the xbox, or on origin, or whatever) every few days or in the evenings (past 10 if I actually get on).

My Talon GI uses Pistol Amp - 'cause why not? One-clipping most bosses is fun, albeit overpowered.

 

Venom IX? Definitely a high point. Used appropriately, the gun is the best stagger-stick in the game and frees up a lot of casting and melee kits. At one point I had it on so many builds I actually got worse at aiming/headshots with other guns. It's probably still the UR I use on the most kits. 

 

Maybe I'll bump into you pugging!

IMHO, survival of GI with AM3 is inversely related to number of infiltrators in the match. If you are the only infiltrator, chances of not going down even on 60 fps PC are much higher than in games where there are four infiltrators.

Higher: on the last match with the ADAS I got the no sound glitch

High - after TornACL got scared of this new pug in this lobby and left, with the lobby the disbanded. I ended up in a new lobby with new manifest pugs and we landed on Collector Hazard Ghost.

 

Low - everything was going smooth until I got downed and next thing I knew the entire spawn was on top of me and not moving away because everyone else went down for the count soon after. 4 gels later, and many stagger stabs later, mission failure. This is what I get for trying to conserve gels and ops by waiting for pugs to save me. Even more lost gels and ops.

Highlight: Some wild Platinum pug games with Siren yesterday, one of which became a trio when our Javelin GI left. The BatSent stayed on for the next two as well, full extraction on all of them. Siren was amazing throughout

 

Also high: then we relaxed with some biotic Gold, and I realised that it's possible to do boring chores - like a drone escort - and still be fabulous:

Started a Ghost/Geth/Silver match as a level 1 HMV equipped only with the Revvaynator 9000^TM with Stability Mod II and piercing mod. 
 
I was by myself for most of waves 1 and 2, then three pugs dropped in. I only had 1 rank each in BC and Shockwave to work with, but Shockwave + revvay to the face (with incendiary ammo II) was enough to take down everything but Bombers and Primes. The Bombers succumbed easily to fire explosions. We ended up extracting and the one skilled Vorcha pug finished first, but I was right after. 50 kills and 25 assault rifle kills, plus five headshots and five revive medals. Sweet.
 
This was a nice surprise because I figured with a level 1 Vanguard I'd be dying all over the place. I guess all that practice dodging with the SI paid off.
 
After that, HamleticTortoise was online and invited me to a Gold match; I chose the SI with Indra and sniper rifle buffs including piercing. HT's team was really good, I but managed to hang with the team and set off my fair share of fire explosions and tech bursts. Definitely the most fun I've had on Gold in awhile.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the game and thanks for the compliments You did great actually, way better than "hanging with the team" Score means nothing, esp with such discrepancies in manifest; you stayed with the team, picked targets smartly, didn't bunker down, and played your kit really well! I look forward to play with you again - with or without the Revenant

Low: Tried some classic kits on Silver - I can't do Asari Stasis sniping - not my style.

 

High: Switched back to Gold and stomped just about every faction with impunity.

High:  My mustard manifest is maxed...thanks to wizardry...from space.

 

L O W (& depressing):  It took 125M credits to max that manifest.  I sh!t you not.  And no, I wasn't aimlessly buying SPs & VPs.  Although it did take an inordinately long period of time to max just my Uncommon level gear (Densified Ammo, vanilla Pistol Amp, ect).  My Rare gear and weapons maxed out before my Uncommon gear.  Still...that inflated my spending total by 1M-1.5M at the most.  It was a truckload of PSPs, usually spent in 2M credit increments.

Wait a minute...

I swear I saw some breakdown previously where it was estimated it would take 70M (or 80M?) credits to max your URs.

 

But at 7.5% drop rate, you could expect 3 UR drops for every 40 UR slots purchased.  It takes ~2M credits to buy 40 UR slots.  There are 21 UR weapons with 210 available upgrade slots.

 

Ipso facto, it should take ~140M credits to max the URs.  So my total of 125M credits spent is actually...pretty decent?  Maybe I'm missing something here.

The Adas is - and I'm being serious here, which doesn't happen often, so note the event in your diary - totally awesome. It staggers on the first hit, applies ammo rapidly, and fires for a long time between reloads.

 

You need the extended mag, damage barrel (#4) and Cryo ammo on a character with incinerate (QME is perfect), or on the Jugg. The Adas challenge gets done in two games, maybe three for the 200k one in Machine Mastery maybe.
