I was considering chiming in on this Revan Reborn too. But then again, my gullibility drove me to play me3mp and it felt good.

Yeah the way to win is just to ignore them, it was good motivation for me to finally use the ignore list, ain't nobody got time for that boolsheet when there are reapers to kill

High- me3mp looks glorious on a 3k monitor

Medium- can't see crap when everything's that small, had to scale it back to regular old 1080, still better than my old potato can do, also for some reason won't run full screen, only windowed, oh well

Low- even with a quad core i7, 32gb ram, and a 2gb video card, netcode/lag is still utter crap sometimes

I've just read Mordokai's post above, and I can only say I hope our duos helped in some way to lift his mood, as from my perspective they were pretty awesome. I know it's not much comfort to know that there are a lot of these feelings about, but there are a lot of these feelings about. You're not alone. Winter sucks. Pretty much everything sucks. But you never know what's around the corner.

Anyway, as for our games - greatest cavalry arrival I've ever witnessed  - I got surrounded in the upper room on Goddess, and it took me a couple of gels just to fire off a missile, and then I went down again. It was wave 9 and I had one gel left. Not because the game was tough, but because it had been easy up to that point, and we'd both probably wasted a couple of gels. I really didn't want to use my last one so I was mashing away on my mostly defective x button when a saw a streak of blue running past on the stairs outside. I was a fraction of a second away from gelling because of the Marauder about to stomp me, but he lost his head to a Widow shot with the most exquisite timing, followed up by a revive timed to the last second. I proceeded to nuke two Banshees, so you could say it was a damn fine piece of teamwork. For Thessia! And here's to much more fun like it in future.   :)

To be fair, winter isn't the main reason for my gloominess. Though it probably doesn't help much either :)

And yeah, fun games. Our asari duo did mother Thessia proud yesterday and sent Reapers packing without too much trouble. Would have been even easier if I didn't get gutted on wave five, leaving you to solo pretty much entire wave, but yeah... not my proudest moment. After that, everything went smoothly. Really digging the Widow huntress... it may not have the power of Black Widow, but man, is it ever stylish :)

The Jade game versus Cerberus was weird... couldn't even see you... not in the game, not on the scoreboard... like you vanished into thin air. And after I got my ass killed on wave ten, once again leaving you to solo, this is what I saw. So yeah, seems like your regular working-as-intended PS3 shitee. Not the smoothest game, but what else you expect from Cerberus and phantoms... that wave four was brutal.

And finishing as two Valkyries... that was just pure fun :) Reapers never stood a chance and many asarigasms were had... again :D

In any case, thanks for playing, it was much fun and I'm looking forward to repeating it. Possibly a little sooner than at two a clock in the morning next time ;)

High: played a lot of Plat and a few Gold yesterday, both with PUGs and with friends. Made a lot of credits and have past 50% of N7 Gold Challenge and also I'm only missing the GT and the AH (after dozens of RPs).

Low: I can't take RPs anymore. N7 challenge is so time consuming!!!

Consolation: Sometimes I get other stuff beside kits, including Particle Riifle (II), Black Widow I, Cryo Ammo IV and other things.

High: I cheated death 2 times as banana batarian in sinful's reactor reapers match, and me and sinful kicked arse in a cerberus white duo

First instance was when a banshee began to relentlessly chase me through the scorching heat of the reactor because she was so hungry for some potassuim (In hindsight i should have not painted myself so deliciously) She then picked me up trying to consume me, fortunaley a fellow monkey Undead monkey shot me 20 times, i then passed out, being unable to feel the munching of the banshee she then left after she thought she killed me, i snorted my coca cola and got back up to burning things. Second instant was when a husk was humping my attractive batarian banana body to point of death, sinful quickly dispatched the filthy gold digger and I instantly plob from the ground fully healed...strange

Low: My modem decided it was time for me to go to bed, i was quite upset, I was killing those ugly humans with their own guns (hornet) and we were doing exceptionally well. I was using the hipster concussive shot human soldier build, it was fun. Oni maybe the BSNer? joined right before i got disconneted,i hope they both extracted after i dropped.

Yeah, Ony the BSNer saved the day, as no one else ever joined. And even though he only had the Viper with no consumables on SI. I had no more gels or ops by the end, but we extracted. Only had time for one more match after (wanted to be up early today to do some things outside. Success so far), so I decided on one last match. Collectors. Only I forgot to select a Collector friendly map, and we got Goddess. But Goddess is still one of my all time faves, so it was a great time. No freeze. Full extraction. GGs to all.

I guess I have a Mag Up for ARs, 80% iirc.

As the the BW, I might promoted Infiltrators and start a QFI with one of those. The BW is quite heavy though, power usage will be hindered. I even built a AV with Stasis for headshots but the cd is over 7 secs O.o

Unlocked the GI on PC, and managed to roflstomp my way to some 160k+ scores on Gold with a Talon I.

I also bumped into someone named SCARS 9 who was using a Melee Paladin beautifully. I kept up with them ok, but it was refreshing to see someone not using the Reegar.

Highly recommended on the QFI, where the cooldown becomes almost irrelevant - as it should with all Infiltrators, provided you don't actually stay in cloak for anything other than the quick damage boost. It's also pretty immense on the SI, even at 1.

I suspect the comment about the PPR's mag was related more to further upgrades of the gun, because it's not great at low levels, like most of the infinite ammo guns, whereas the BW at level 1 is absolutely usable.

About BW, yes, I usually cloak to shoot, but as the BW is very heavy, it hinders Sabotage (to stagger) usage. My controller is still very stiff and I can't aim exactly where I want. Sometimes I move the aiming stick only slightly but the crosshair moves much more than expected. It's very inaccurate. Hence sabotage.

I believe that my PPR with the Mag mod would already make it usable. Not great, but usable. I want to try it on a Destroyer as I've seen a video from Invaderone shooting (lazering) things through thick walls on Ghost. I believe he most likely had a HVB or piercing mod V. It was pretty cool to see hiim destroy things he couldn't see :P

But I digress... high and low.

Low: got into a Plat lobby with 2 guys that didn't have manifest for Plat (same as me lol) but I decided to give it a try. I thought "worst case scenario I'll actually have to help those guys instead of taking a ride :P".

Low: Wave 1 finished incredibly fast. Far too fast. Check the score, one guy with ridiculous amount of points. then I understood: missile glitch. I ended up second in the scoreboard and we extracted on Rio.
I decided to stick around just to see where this would go as this was the first time I saw the glitch in action.
Second match on White vs Reapers, the glitcher gets grabbed twice in a row in 2 different waves and it's up to me to finish the waves with a Slayer off host. We failed a few waves later as the banshees were quite attracted to the glitcher.

So after seeing the glitch in action, I find it quite dull and that it removes all challenge from the game.

High: I got easy credits on the first match and I didn't spend equipment on the second as I went in decided to let the glitcher to the job (my mistake as he died a lot).

Perhaps no one has pointed out to you that if you use Sabotage immediately after cloaking, you bypass its lengthy cooldown. The same applies to all powers on Infiltrators. Always cloak first. Always.  And Sabotage is primarily used as a stun power to facilitate headshots, so you're doing that part of it right.  :)

Also, have you turned the stick sensitivity down in-game? That might help.

^If you Cloak first, then you can use use an other power immediatly, without any cooldown. You endure a long cooldown if you use Sabotage before Cloaking first (what you should never do), or if you stay Cloaked for a long duration (in other words, if you don't attack during the Cloak, what is pretty rare). Cooldowns are mostly irrelevant on infiltrators, you can use whatever weapon you want with them.

Oh I think I was already told about that but I didn't realize that this pretty much nullifies the cds. Nice!

About the stick sensitivity, I looked everywhere, didn't find this option on PS3.

In the Mass Effect 3 menu, choose "Options". You can adjust here the camera sensitivity. Personally I prefer the medium option. With the high one, I find myself aiming at the sky too often.

Oh that one I tried already, didn't help. It's something in the controller. If I move the stick around and compare it to my old controllers, I can clearly see the difference.

#Dual Shock 3 problems.

You have more control over sensitivity on DS4 and 360 analog sticks. Whenever I switch from DS4/360 to DS3, I'm aiming all over the place too. But on DS4 and 360 gamepad, I wish there was an option for faster camera sensitivity. The faster setting is not fast enough.

Highs:

Finished my 10 extractions for the AIU. Equipped with a Disciple. Damn, this thing is indestructible. 6/6/6/6/0. Even trivializes Collectors. I now have the banner with the 'eezy mode' characters.

Here's a thought. Given the difference in weight, isn't Disciple > Crusader? Disclaimer: Disciple is at X, Crusader is at II.

A Venom-intoxicated-Drell-Assassin gave wings to quite a few Phantoms. The Carnifex is now quite decent at X. I might not miss having the Paladin anymore. I'll try and see how it works out on the caster classes. Now working on 'Outsider' banner. Only 40 odd waves on the Collector left.

Lows:

I have concluded that the Banshee is the cheapest enemy in the game.

I've played ME3 MP for a few months with the PS4 controller. I didn't find it better and actually missed my PS3 pad. I may have played too many hours with it to change now, or maybe I'm too old to modify my habits.

In the meantime, I've also tried a cheap (around 20€) controller. Unless you don't have the choice, don't buy it people : they're awfully bad.

Main account:
High: finished adept challenges, engineers will come in the next month

AAA:

Low: Trollstore is still cruel

High: played matches with a BW using Jugg and a BW using KroLord (separate lobbys). The KroLord was ready to be sync-killed eight times in two matches, I could save him six times (two Praetorian, one Scion, two Banshees and a Brute). He had a mic, so he constantly repeated "Mother Maria" during these events, I did not know if it was an expression like Jesus Christ!, or I was his patron saint. According to Wikipedia: "Mother Maria is a saint of our day and for our day; a woman of flesh and blood possessed by the love of God, who stood face to face with the problems of this century." . I think he was glad that he met a friendly possessed unit. Needless to say, I got a friend request from him after the game.

Sudden clarity: does that mean I am the patron saint of pugs? (Undecided if this is high or low)

Also: is it possible to save a player from every sync-kill? Banshees and Praetorians are easy to rocket while grabbing, Atlases (not frequently do the SK) also give enough time window to pull the Cobra out (pun intended), Scions and Brutes are harder to rocket, because they also sync-kill so rarely that I don't even expect it, and they kill faster, so you have to predict it and press the button just as the animation starts I think. (I don't see many SKs from these three, so I may be wrong here.) The only unit I have never been able to rocket down while instakilling is the Phantom. Is it even possible to do that? There is no lenghty grab animation or anything, it stabs and the player is red nearly instantly. I guess if you already have the Cobra out (sorry), you can prevent it.

I'm pretty sure I've stopped many a Phantom sync-kill with Stasis, but never with a Cobra, unless it is already out and primed to explode  ;)

If you're really set on saving that pug from a knife blade in their gut I'd probably pop a couple TCP's and put a round or two through her. Expensive pug life though. Could get extra-sexy points for blowing the blade out of her hands while she's mid-sync though.
