High:
- Got the Machinist banner (the Quarians get the coolest looking banners), though largely thanks to the Geth. The only Quarian that made it to 200 waves is QME. But this is because I have only just started appreciating the Quarian kits. The QME is probably the best Quarian kit and one of the best kits overall, I think.
I'm unsure whether to like or hate that you got glorious quarian banner but did it using revolting toasters.
In terms of overall efficiency it's hard to choose between him and the QMI. He has nastier sustained AOE capablities over time but the QMI has tons of burst damage vs mobs, is a bit more survivable because lolcloak, and can shred single targets a bit faster in most circumstances.
That said, they're both my least used quarians. I've only done their 200 wave challenge like 23 times each compared to 25-26 on the other 3, so I probably need to git gudder with them.
High: while recovering from illness it is best to maintain a steady regimen of fat turians, thus, I will spend the next week or so sleeping or being a hot fat turian

High:
- Since I'm now working on the Council Operative banner, I'm having a reason to using kits like the Turian Soldier, Asari Adept, Salarian Engineer etc. All fun kits of course. What surprises me most that in 3 years and over 300 hours, I've still not completed the 200 waves of a lot of my favorite characters. Even the Huntress and Drell Assassin were around the 190 mark when I returned recently.
- Ok, I'm not one to fantasize too much about pixel bodies, but dat Asari ass ... *hhnngg*
- I'm now breezing through most games. Don't know if it's because all rares are at X, using III and IV consumables regularly or because I was habituated to using glass canons earlier.
High: Cleared most of the devices on a level 10 4 device hack with the entire team waxed....(gold/ghost/reapers)
Low: I had to run around the map 2 times with no missles and a banshee terrorizing the s**t outta me....and just as i thought i put enough space between me and her so i could clear that last device, (there was only seconds left to clear that last device) the banshee snatches me up just as I was about to clear it...
I feel your pain. Banshees should be missiled into a sun.

You mean Arc Nades, right? Because that means one can get on the shuttle back to the bar in the Citadel that much sooner ![]()

High: I picked up the geth juggernaut recently made a build with him.
High: Started dumping on all the lesser geth juggernauts who only heavy melee as they watch me score higher than them with my own geth juggernaut build.
High: I outscored a geth infiltrator with the black widow with the geth juggernaut surprisingly and he was literally a good geth infiltrator with a 10K+ N7 rating and 100k + CP.

Why you would use the Quarksman more than QME/QMI is beyond me. Also, 25 times each character ...
On the first part, I personally agree, although I would have specified QFE/QFI, as I prefer them both to their male counterparts. The Quarksman is undoubtedly my least-used character across all my accounts, as I've only done a single run of 200 waves with him. The thing is though, I'm quite happy to acknowledge that that is down to my L2P issues, as I've seen many many times how destructive he can be. I think I generally prefer playing combo characters to all out dakka dakka.
As for the 25 times, well, QMR talks the talk on this forum, and walks the walk in-game, so I guess it's the old Carnegie Hall thing - practice makes perfect. That is, as long as your definition of perfect includes occasional rage gel/missile combos.

Recent highlights were lots of good games with QMR, Nightman and Fuenf. Nightman didn't mention his wave 10 derp which resulted in more apologies than I've ever heard in a game before - you worry too much dude, and we got the job done. With 3 Claymores on the scene it was never really in doubt, right?! Commentary highlights included, "Get him Grunt, f*ck him up!" as I went toe-to-toe with a Brute, and when I was cleaning up on wave 10, "I think there's a Ravager left, I can hear one. Yeah, there's the Ravager..... which you just killed with one shot." I also gotta say I appreciated the Hunter and Phantom alerts in the earlier games.
Worth noting that QMR, Fuenf and I rolled Collectors...... on Giant Hazard. I was praying no one else would join us, and for once my prayers were answered. Appropriate missile use and Mission Successful achieved, even though a hard reboot was essential for me at least afterwards. As I said, all good games. No lows, beyond regular wfop screens.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I did forget to mention my wave 10 departure....I am sorry for all of the sorry's. I had to let my dog outside. I obviously was drinking. When I am playing with people I never have before, and something like that happens..I feel bad. I knew you guys would destroy the reapers. 3 claymore's was really fun. Lots of heavy melee's were exchanged all around.

Low.
Somehow I am unable to play effectively after a 3-day hiatus. Combining that with some scorewhores, no-gel warriors, disaster was brewing. Two no-extraction, waste of consumables. I wanted to solo plat, but I won't if I'm not at my best.
Edit: another tribe of wild no-gel pugs. I tried to observe them, but the poor things ran left and right until they got stomped. All three of them had their N7 numbers above thousand (I ragequitted before I could see the CP points), don't tell me you didn't harvest some gel from the Jumbo field. I have only four and I ran out of them on W6 (4 devices, the Jugg was trying to do them and aggroed every Dragoon and Phantom near the devices, the last one got a yummy turret, too). I don't ask you to carry me: I only ask that you revive yourselves if I am not in the vicinity so I didn't have to finish the waves alone. What is more, you all had consumables equipped; do you know you are wasting those by bleeding out? Oh dear pugs, pug life where it's at and where it always will be, but sometimes, if you have the time, take a big step back and literally f@ck your own faces. *
PS
This is all AAA. Once the dear RNG grants me the almighty Black Widow, I will be able to carry your and my own sorry ass to W11. Until this happens, please, at least one of you play like I would assume from your numbers.
* The above only applies to the no-gel pugs who annoyed me tonight. Thanks BSN forum for allowing the space for this rant.

I find him (and both the females) more interesting to play more of the time. The Arcnade Bros. are fun, but when min/maxed they undoubtedly trivialize the game, especially on gold or below, without even trying much or equipping strong weapons. Quarksman requires you to be on your game to become a destroyer of worlds, but he is undoubtedly such, especially when equipped with a Saber, Typhoon, Hurdurricane or Raider. I find playing him makes me better at most aspects of the game in general, because you can't just cheese positioning or aiming mistakes away with a bunch of AOE/ CC spam. If you play well you'll never need to, because everything will be missing its head long before it can do anything to harm you. Given Marksman, he can also make pretty much any weapon effective which gives him a huge variety of viable options in that regard (if not so much in different builds).
I really like quarians if you can't tell, which is why I have a suspiciously identical number of completions with them as Tali's Sweat. We obviously aren't the same person, though.

Likewise. The Collector trio was particularly satisfying, as I used several A-Bombs to great effect and managed my 50th Melee kill just a 4 seconds before extraction, elbowing a trooper out of the way. Added to that some good games with Pearl's toasters and one with Oni's QFE after you and Fuenf left. I even made it a whole game with Pearl's venom flamer trooper as a QFI sniper without using all my rockets then ragequitting! (tho there were plenty of derped shots and it took me an inordinate amount of time to get 20hs and 75 sniper kills)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I forgot to mention that reactor hazard game......SpectrePierogi (Pearl) thought she was hilarious by firing her venom at me every chance she got..not to mention she cooked me twice. QMR, dude, you aren't as slick as you think you are when it comes to hitting that button either..I caught on to you early.... You use the same technique I do..hit the button as you are running thru the reactor..then act all surprised when it activates..I call it the " who,me? " defense. That juggy pug would not cook properly.

High: got through Platinum with a guy with N7 ~70, Arc Pistol 1 and no consumables. They actually played very decently, though damage output was understandably underwhelming.
Low: For me personally, a nightmare game. Got staggered out of moves, stomped, bled out, sync-killed straight outta nowhere - you name it.

U know what? I think all those with obvious coincidences like that, owe us a proper disagreement between personalities. Lobby would be impossible, but at least here in BSN. Everyone, incl RR with wonderwoman in the me:a forum owes us a good domestic fight every now and then...., which is why I have a suspiciously identical number of completions with them as Tali's Sweat. We obviously aren't the same person, though.

Yeah, I suppose QME does trivialize the opposition because I don't fear clutching a wave with him. Yesterday, I was in a couple of Gold matches with a Hurrican-equipped-Quarksman who consistently got 150k+. He didn't even have Tactical Scan. When I do get around to playing him, I think I'll go with this build,
http://kalence.drupa...5595!..K5!093AC
Anyway,
Highs:
- A day of comfortably pulling out in every match, but ...
Lows:
- Debased myself by venturing to use the Batarian kits. Unfortunately, I recently promoted my Vanguards (because my OCD wanted them to match the rest of the kits' promotion level of 1). So I took a level 4 Brawler to Gold. Rio/Reapers. I charged at a Marauder climbing the central platform. I think I made the mistake of charging while he was climbing because while trying to punch him after the charge, I fell down the ladder. It was funny to watch because I started the punch on the top of the ladder and finished it by the time I fell down. And out of nowhere, a Banshee who I had not seen anywhere close to the platform appears behind me and grabs me.

High point:
Hearing repeated shrills of NEIN NEIN when things got hairy in later waves made me srsly lol. Nearly got killed because of this. I had absolutely no idea what the hell they were saying but I understood that at least.
I tried to be a helpful teammate when I could, used my missiles on pizza waves, revived when it was safe to do so. I top scored that game thanks to cheesing it up with my edibot. Full extraction.
Low point:
Getting kicked when I returned to the lobby, not sure if hate crime.

I love pugging, never know what you will get. Yesterday evening for example I landed in a German lobby with two very chatty Fraus. One was rocking a femshep lone wolf banner, the other a femshep Botb banner. So pretty confident that this looks like a solid team I ready up. Another pug joined after me. It was Reapers/hydra/gold.

High: TSol / Eagle, 10 Waves Survived in a 20 min Glacier / Cerberus / Glacier PUG romp. I even got headshot medals. ![]()
Low: Followed up by a Collector freeze on Ghost with 34 secs left. The high ranking player who had impressed me greatly in the previous game obviously didn't know to missile (double) Praetorians, as he was saving at least some for the extraction wave. ![]()
TMB asked the other day why some of us on PS3 continue to risk our machines like this. The truth is, when pugging, searching U/U/G will still find you a game within seconds, but specifying the enemy faction can leave you twiddling your thumbs for a while. I'm beginning to think that twiddling my thumbs is the better option.

You certainly have the right build in terms of points allocated, but I suspect the headshot evolution of TacScan is bugged, and could be considered irrelevant anyway if you're going with the ADAS as primary weapon. I'd also recommend the rate of fire evo of Marksman if you are planning to use the ADAS - I was using it on the TSol last night, and the ROF boost makes it pretty lethal.

You're right, I didn't consider that while picking the weapon. I don't know if I'll keep using the ADAS, I suppose I can always use a respec card if I want to change weapons.
