 Certainly some others, the distance at which you can disable a device tend to be underestimated (on London for example, there's one under the "Luna viewpoint" where players often forget / don't know that they can take cover while disabling it). The devices with which you can't take any cover are a little minority.

I have trouble comprehending : "So you cant" . Did you actually mean "you should" or "you should not", (because it is possible irrespective of it being wise)

Btw - I had a dismal ACA session yesterday. Trying to respec that thing with a collector csmg and cancelling the cooldown times is so different to my old style. One day I'll b self sufficient with that cabbage head. (The resource library doesn't have much tips either...)

Decided to stay for the whole game, wait for it:

Low, looks like when your comments are in moderation queue, they don't show up even after you can post like normal working as intended. So many funny comments lost like tears in the rain

Was it from that SP is all drama thread? Our people seem to have taken some casualties there, however, it's really hard not to rustle over there when it's just that easy. One of the funnier threads I've read in months here, it actual devoured all my likes yesterday. Shout out to QMR/Tali's Sweat, goddamn hilarious.

So CZ, Pearl and I tried to get a few games in. It wound up being just one mostly successfu-WHAT

 

DO YOU MEAN I DIDN'T GET THE CREDITS!? FUUU-

 

Game 1: I'm host. Pearl can't join me. Enter CZ, whose frames drop exponentially faster as host but is a good connection for me and Pearl. So naturally we preset to London... Connection has been lost. >

 

Game 2: WE preset another map, the unbreakable FBW vs. reapers. Game is smooth until CZ inevitably freezes in wave 6. I become host, and because of this occurrence Pearl loses connection. CZ gets back online and I leave the pugs while soloing the last enemy of wave 7

 

Game 3: We finally get our rematch and it goes well. We even manage a full extraction and then CZ freezes at the very end transition between loading screens and the servers don't record my victory but give me host and... you guessed it; Pearl DC's.

 

It made for a hearty 3 minute laugh as this perfectly demonstrates everything wrong with the netcode with the exception of the vicious WFOP.

High = used Alfonse dude's /+ Nucleartech/ Loufi's tips to enter with my ACA
Low = AHF'ers already in game running with pugs
High = met Loufi at white
Low= did the customary AHF kickvote signal on Loufi. Pug switch to plat whilst raging at me that I drive good players away.
High= Learned that Cooldown on Darksphere should not be taken literally.
Low= had to enter with a L10 ACA, CSG into AHF.
High= Did not get kickvoted for scrub ACA character level.
Low= Waited 15 minutes with invites for people that wanted to come, but finally did not.
High=Had XAN, Oni, and Oni's Pal Swag in lobby. Had the opportunity to kill 1 enemy per wave, but could also concentrate on cooldown mechanics
Low=Got a memory leak, all reboot. Swag unfortunately don't realize that reboot implies all.
High = Ark enters lobby
Low = Ark stifts mutiny and XAN jumps ship. Only Oni, his pal SWAG and I left in lobby.
High = Pierogi gets online
Low= waited 10 minutes because Pierogi's PS3 bombs on newstarts
High=Full lobby & can try out UUG on Goddess with ACA
Low= Collectors. Fun fun fun. Discover that memleak alive and well already on W1 , (someone did not reboot?) and delay on all consoles. Pierogi drops out.
High = fun watching Oni rolling like a ginger man, and skilled carrying of scrubs. Getting into rhythm of DC and Swarmer spamming with occasional DS pre-writing for bosses
Low= attention diverted with reviving teammates. Gave up on chivalry in w6. Can hear from Oni's breathing that he's getting pissed off.
High = full (?) extraction. This time every body is asked to reboot
Low= aHf invite. Waited 10 minutes. Oni stays offline. Preset lobby Geoff - to console the spirits
High =Pierogi and Swag again in lobby. Geoff's on Dagger. Pierogi ready up equipment but needs 5 min AFK. I convince swag that a fury wears weapons only for decoration and when, an acolyte
Low= had to listen to 15 minutes of salary discussions in lobby.
High= Assume Pierogi is ready and is also pissed off to listen to that discussion.

High= never been so happy to start wave1
Low= Pierogi is pissed of and not responding to my melees
High =Pierogi is so OP that she demonstratively dies two times to make a point
Low = meanwhile back at the ranch , things looks dismal. The prime spams mostly melees and throw hex shield in front of spawns. My Fury only on L16 - no long distance dark channel available. Swag is obviously not happy with weaponless fury. His mic is switched- off somewhere in W4.
High= pierogi sends message. Yeah. Methink gr8 , at least some duo. And good timing. Just use that second invite. Pls.
Low= pierogi was away all the time and didn't feign OP ness. No- one eerily joins. But me get them incoming scrolling messages, allright. I can feel
That fire blazing on the other side. Just keep a cool head - wave 8 and it seems the rest used all their gel and cobras. Stunlocks heard every 40s


Low= %£!&@! DS4 controller PS home button does not allow to send messages in game. Feel guilty.

High = still extracted.

So overall, I dont know whether this was high or low. It was memorable, alright.

In fairness, I'm not really due much credit. It would take far more effort to stop myself rustling most of the easily triggered morons in that section, could I be bothered to forgo the lulz and attempt tact with them.

Just try to avoid getting yourself banned, I know it's easier said then done when so many are hyper sensitive that they would spank the report button for next to nothing. Lols are good but being sidelined ain't.

Sometimes we drift off slightly into congratulating someone on a high, or asking about a build, or giving some weapon advice. But all posts should remain in some way relevant to the thread title.

 

However, general discussion about kittens, other posters, moderation, Andromeda, why DA:I is bad, etc, should all be somewhere else. Like with other long running threads on the forum, it would be a shame to get this one locked as well because of off-topic posts and images, especially as the mods are known to be really trigger happy at the moment.

The platinum games I did tonight. My game was off so bad and those damn Geoffs kept spamming drones like it was ME1 on the Citadel. I did bad with QME VENOM on Ghost and that's like, my bread and butter for plat. Perhaps next time I'll get back to carrying myself.

Recent High. Played a few platinum matches tonight with some decent pugs. Went on my Volus Merc, Geth Eng, and Paladin. Had to laugh at the end of the match with the Paladin, two guys switched kits and readied up as Paladins after. One guy had a mic but I had music going and could barely hear him. I think I made out a few compliments on my Decoys/Drones when I was on my Merc. They pulled their weight that game.

Few things are more awesome than a Paladin Phalanx. Man, next game I play I want to do that. Giant Geth Gold. We all start in LZ in formation with shields up then mine in and rip buttholes.
