The platinum games I did tonight. My game was off so bad and those damn Geoffs kept spamming drones like it was ME1 on the Citadel. I did bad with QME VENOM on Ghost and that's like, my bread and butter for plat. Perhaps next time I'll get back to carrying myself.

Low: I got disconnected first wave and went to lie down to think about my life. I'm still jealous of that venom 10 btw

I was playing ME3 Multiplayer 3/4/2016 and experienced extreme lag seconds into the first wave. ErzPaladin blue image stayed in the LZ and me and two other players went hunting. But when the lag started there was not much we could do so after several minutes the other two players left but I stayed on with the leader ErzPaladin (is the players id). After more than 30 minutes and ErzPaladin never moving I determined that he was the cause of the lag. Whenever I tried to move I would be sent back to the point of origin. If I stood still nothing would happen but the enemy wasn't moving either. When I moved slowly I was able to get to an enemy location and after using a lot of ammo could kill the enemy. When ErzPaladin left the game all game play went back to normal and I completed the game solo.

 

I then did some research on line as to what could cause or how to cause lag and I found many videos and text regarding a little device or software that is referred to as a "lag switch" Players who like to cheat and create an advantage for themselves can use a lag switch that will effect all other players but themselves. ErzPaladin used such a switch for his own benefit and I would advise not to play with player. ErzPaladin has no ME3 game play info on Origin nor could I find this player on the players met listing on N7 HQ but I believe that he is European not USA based because he is on the global leader board around 58K challenge points. In any case this player should be kicked and avoided because ErzPaladin cheats.

So CZ, Pearl and I tried to get a few games in. It wound up being just one mostly successfu-WHAT

DO YOU MEAN I DIDN'T GET THE CREDITS!? FUUU-

Game 1: I'm host. Pearl can't join me. Enter CZ, whose frames drop exponentially faster as host but is a good connection for me and Pearl. So naturally we preset to London... Connection has been lost. >

Game 2: WE preset another map, the unbreakable FBW vs. reapers. Game is smooth until CZ inevitably freezes in wave 6. I become host, and because of this occurrence Pearl loses connection. CZ gets back online and I leave the pugs while soloing the last enemy of wave 7

Game 3: We finally get our rematch and it goes well. We even manage a full extraction and then CZ freezes at the very end transition between loading screens and the servers don't record my victory but give me host and... you guessed it; Pearl DC's.

It made for a hearty 3 minute laugh as this perfectly demonstrates everything wrong with the netcode with the exception of the vicious WFOP.

That day was crazy... But just to be clear. My issue is not hosting. My issue is the chat. All my last freezes involved the chat. It's extremely annoying.
The one I froze after we extracted, I thought I'd lose credits but they're there on the next day.

High: I decided I needed a breather. so I took a Silver game, after what seems like the longest time. UUS rolled us London/Cerberus. I took my Claymore vanilla human soldier in there and there was a shadow, a batarian slasher and a talon merc doing me company. The shadow tried scorewhoring by mostly ignoring objectives and failed, since I still outscored her by about 1k points, with no missiles involved

 

But that's not the highlight I have in mind. The game was pretty laggy(honestly, nowadays, I'm surprised if the game isn't laggy) and I was pretty aggressive, so I kissed the dirt quite often. And who was always there to pick me up, even sacrificing his missiles? None other than the Valiant(yes, that was the gun he was using... see what I did there?) batarian.

Low: just met the worst pugs ever on a Silver. I'm doing challenges so I'm using a weapon build on a PA. Not the best build.
These pugs wanted me to do escort o Rio by myself. I let them all die and did it. They never used gel. They preferred to die rather than to use gel. Host left and only 1 remain in the lobby. Many join and leave. Spend far too many resources as I had to carry the game.

High: we extracted, I made 100k points with 10 medals. That's pretty much it cuz it was a bad match.

Slap that Pirahna on a Turian and you'll have a MUCH better time. PA is a pure biotic powerhouse. Trying to make him something else isn't gonna work. Don't become a slave to challenges. You'll stop enjoying them that way. I've got Phaeston and Smashguard points/waves to be done. No way in hell am I gonna make a slapnuts combo that isn't going to pan out very well. My Smushguard will Smash and Charge his way to victory while my Drell Adept (Warp IV rounds) or Turian Soldier or TGI will handle the Phaeston.

I agree with you but there are advantages to make challenges. I end up using stuff I probably wouldn't in other ocasions.
Which leads to the second advantage: the challenge itself. If I don't force myself to do them, I probably won't reach my goal.

I haven't played smashdept in a long time. So I choose him up and search for UUG. Drop into a lobby of what looks like very inexperienced pugs and I'm too tired/drunk/incompetent to carry the lot of them with smashdept, powerful and fun as he may be.

 

So I say to myself, make this easy on yourself. And besides, TGI is(besides Cabal) one of the two kits with whom you haven't finished 200 waves for Commando Mastery yet.

 

So I load up my Carrier TGI with Warfighter gear.

 

The game decides to punish me by disconnecting me on the end of wave three escort of Cerberus/White game.

 

...I remain unsure whether that is a high or a low.

High: played 4 or 5 platinum in a row with XAN, ark and QMR. Ark left at the end and Oni took his place.
Those were the smoothest plats I ever played. Of course with this team I could barely kill things but well, #unmaxedmanifestissues
Made a lot of credits!

Low: on the last match XAN saved myself and other one (not sure if Oni or QMR) but got grabbed close to extraction deadline. Murphy is mean :/
We could also count the fact that I didn't more than 50k points in each match a low point

High 2: I didn't fall as much as I thought.

- Recently I've started dropping into solo matches around wave 2 or 3. And no one else joined in afterwards. The amazing thing is that these duo games have had more comfortable extractions than many full squad games. Funny how that works.

 

- Played the Krentinel for the very first time. Not a bad kit at all. Lifting Phantoms into the air gives me a chuckle.

Low: Got kicked from a pug for the first time ever because Arc Pistol QME apparently isn't a plat viable setup or something

 

Then again, the other 3 consisted of a toaster and 2 Council plebs, so maybe they were just racist/ butthurt

Low, AAA:
When a Cerberus grenade takes down all of your teammates and you recognize you have to run through the map to revive them, because they are waiting for each other to gel. Saved two (I thought I won't have enough time for the second one), the last one bled out of course. A somewhat faithful representation of the situation between them:

 

Ultimately, it didn't matter, Wave 6, two of them got sync-killed, the last one bled out, and I couldn't done the devices in time.

 

High,MA:

 

Dragscoped a Nemesis from the other side of Vancouver. (I was at the top area, the Nemesis ran from the starting zone to the right side area.)

 

Neutral:

Tried to solo Plat again, I got to Wave 8. In Wave 7, I got into a really bad situation where I had to spend 4 gels to continue the solo. With some luck, I think I am able to do this, I had 5 gels, 4 ops and all rockets up until that point.

Low: ark and I got frustrated because of Cerberus BS in gold and platinum duos...

 

High: ... so we set up a bronze lobby, preset it to Glacier / Collectors and opened it up to pugs. Ark was Krosol and I was Krosent. It was so relaxing, just throwing grenades everywhere and getting killstreaks with 0 effort. I think everyone who plays a lot of Gold/Plat should do this sometimes.

 

High2: spent my 22 million credits using the DLC deletion trick. 71 Venom amps. Yep. Here I come plat solos.

I ran into that totes leet butthole a week ago. Trolled him a lil, it was fabulous but haven't bumped into him since sadly. I have music and notes to send him and pictures to take if I do again. Even if you report him to Bioware I'm not confident anything would get done as they have stopped ban waves. Maybe you could report his id to Sony *shrugs*
