[Geth Supremacy]

I felt kind of bad for Mark and went back and deleted all of my off topic and non ME3 related stuff after Mark started speaking up and asking people to knock it off.  I was curious if it was going to get locked or people were going to keep it up.  Looks like this thread is back to pure ME3 stuff.  I'd call that a high point.  Wasn't sure how things would land.

Low: ark and I got frustrated because of Cerberus BS in gold and platinum duos...

 

High: ... so we set up a bronze lobby, preset it to Glacier / Collectors and opened it up to pugs. Ark was Krosol and I was Krosent. It was so relaxing, just throwing grenades everywhere and getting killstreaks with 0 effort. I think everyone who plays a lot of Gold/Plat should do this sometimes.

 

High2: spent my 22 million credits using the DLC deletion trick. 71 Venom amps. Yep. Here I come plat solos.

 

No real lows lately other than being targeted by trolling atlases as a Batarian floor licker Soldier.

 

Highs: Angering scrubs. Geoff Engineer sans HM tries to grab pizza on Wave 6 vs Collectors from across Reactor after having watched me run in the first one. Idiot got taken down by Scions for movie to slow. So I did what any self-respecting troll veteran would do. I took the pizza, left him lying on the floor, then threw a cryo blast so he knows that it was me. Geoff Engie spent the next two waves trying to overload and melee me and getting himself into sticky situations. Watch those abombs, mang.

I forgot to mention a High from my game with evn and Ony (Pearl was trying to join but she kept getting WFOPed).

 

evn froze mid game and re-joined us later. He was bugged and was only able to see Ony. Not me. Not the enemies.

He asked to leave a Ravager alive. Ony and I locked it and Ony guided evn to enter the Ravager.

Afterwards Ony took cover on the Ravager. It was very funny as I didn't know about this. They said it's old stuff but it's understandable as the game is from 2012

Highlight - I was asking Pierogi to give us some new trolling ideas - and now EVN came up with them, go figure. I doubt that these trolls would work with PUGS though - but in AHF - most certainly.

I must admit that he did a nice job on that troll. Trying to get sync killed on purpose and other stuff.

It was funny because I saw him getting grabbed by a Banshee and I saved him. Only to find out that he was trying to get sync killed to try to solve his "issue".

I forgot (again) another High: Ony, Nightman and I were on a London Gold with a PUG that was a newbie. A was a stasis sniping Assguard (M98-Widow). Nightman was killing my stasis targets and I was not even caring about that, but he felt bad and made an effort to resist the temptation to pop the head of those Cerb troops.

On w10, we had hacking near the LZ and damn... It was a Phantom festival. Around 30 of them in total. My Stasis power came in handy, though.

Phantom is the worst enemy in the game, imo. There are other bad enemies, but Phantom is a nightmare.

So some weapons were made available later than others. These are called DLC's. The original ones were called Non-dlc.

If you know which weapon were made available in which dlcs you can limit the width of upgrade in the store by uninstalling other DLC's (maps), purchasing Packs, and then reinstalling the other DLC's again.

It will not make it go faster overall, but will allow you to max a certain sub set quicker.

 

also. Knowing the non-dlc help you to apply the weight glitch on the gear in the lobby.  A prerequisite is that you know how to teabag fellow pug by spraying them with Ice -- AIU as customary by Oni.

Hmm I think I got it: so I uninstall all DLC and leave the one that I want to get (let's say Reckoning), this way I could improve my weapons from that DLC?

 

evn told me this week that the DLC weapons are always the last ones. I think it's CSniper Rifle, Carniflex, Hornet and I don't remember the rest. Not sure if I remember correctly the ones I mentioned!

Well, I've seen experienced people getting grabbed by Banshees. It's rare but it happens.

Yeah.  Can't blame him - those explosive ammo bonuses in the retaliation DLCS come in really handy on platinum sometimes.

Playing with Loufi is always a highlight for me - no matter how bad I look.

Yes, it takes some time but it can be worth it. The hardest part is to be patient enough to save millions of credits. 

 

It was a game on Hydra, right ? I remember that you were using the Typhoon. I don't think you did bad but I'm not sure the character was a perfect fit for this gun, the Typhoon is quite a niche weapon. Especially at low levels.

Well, for me saving millions of creds is quite tough as I don't have a maxed manifest. I could try saving 2M (still millions ).

 

Yes, it was Hydra. You know that Ony already gave me this feedback, that I shouldn't force challenges. I was using a kit I needed for a challenge.

What I'm doing is that I'm trying to complete them in an order: Resurgence, Rebellion, Earth, Retaliation, etc. So I try to mix up map, kit and weapon. That's why I was with a bad kit of a typhoon. But I also don't push it that far: I wouldn't use a typhoon on an adept, for instance

Yeah, you played a lot better then last I remember (I still remember the map because it was Condor. We both had like 100 PS3 hours then. So guess serious manifest issues back then).

 

In yesterdays game; I remember that one time on Ghost while Oni and Arkhne were delivering pizza, we had all the mooks to ourselves out in the open in the lowest area of the map across LZ. And we just began charging in out in the open because team dextros. Only for some dumb reason I soon after decided to that was a great time to check on the pizza and lolbailed. Only to hear my Quarian Soup comrade yell something about soup and get downed. I really felt bad about that noob move. What was I thinking. Pizza issues should be left to the non dextros kits.

Erm...we've played before and I was garbage? Have to say I don't remember that. I really shouldn't play this after abusing the emergency induction port, I guess.

That Ghost game was just all kinds of irritating. Trying to Claymoar QFE on an open ass map on plat is an excercise in annoyance even when your ops packs are working properly, nevermind like the lag I had. Pretty sure I even got hugged or fantumed on w11 because loloffhost magnet hands.
