Hosted zombie mode with pugs who I told what they were about to play rock

High: Pugs did very well along with massive Abomb explosions, and when turrets were set up all over the middle section in later waves

 

Low: 2 didnt extract but they all seemed to like the experience and I thanked them for playing

Low: Vancouver/Cerberus. Was playing as the Awakened Collector (which is a class which I've used about twice in total ever), in the hope of gaining another level so I could promote the adept class again. Well. Much rubber banding was occurring. Had no idea where I was/where the enemies were. My powers weren't working, I kept dying for no reason... and everyone in the lobby died. I think me quitting may have caused a wave 4 squad wipe. Oops.

My mother had cancer of the spleen years ago, pretty bad too. Something like 15 years ago. She had it removed, she's been healthier than ever since then. Don't worry (that never helps), there will be plenty of people here wishing you well.

I want to platinum (insanity run) ME1 and 2, so I didn't touch the MP in the last weeks, yesterday I took a break (after Horizon, it wasn't as bad as I expected but as I read the internet afterwards it could have gone way worse) and joined a gold and two Plats. Decent pugs, good games, extractions, money, xp, swag, everything somebody can ask for.

Glad to hear your mother's doing well! In my case the cancer spread from other organs into the spleen. But now chemo + radiation therapy has basically cured it elsewhere so the spleen has turned out to be its last stronghold, so to speak. It should be pretty easy compared to everything else. I don't even have to stay at the hospital overnight or anything for the surgery.  

 

on an unrelated note:  

 

High: I was a fat turian sentinel 

 

Low: I was a fat turian that went into w6 plat vs. geth solo with 5 medigels 5 ops 7 rokkits but I rounded a corner and got staggered by a drone, smacked by a brute and sniped by a ravager simultaneously, and when i got out of that mess I was suddenly at 0 rokkits, 0 medigel, 0 ops. This was all pretty cool and I am not mad at video games nor do I want the geth to go **** themselves with pinecones or anything. 

 

I am calm and not raging atm.

For Insanity on ME2, ammo conservation is the big thing. Best way to help this alone is (duh) bringing the right squadmates (Who have infinite ammo, and powers to strip defenses). Even on Insanity, Warp/Incinerate still tear Armour apart, and Overload still shatters shields like wet paper. If going Soldier, AR Revenant is the answer to everything .

 

Personally, I love the Sentinel in Insanity ME2, Fastest cooldowns in Game, with the "oh sheets!" Tech Armour button of win, Power for every situation, and with AR(Vindicator/Mattock) or SR(Viper) training the Gunplay to back it up. Always having an answer to Shields is big, almost every single mission had mercs or Geth. The single biggest threat on Insanity isn't Harbinger, nor even a Praetorian, it is the fking Loki Mechs, they get boosted armour, high level ARs, and come in packs of three times their usual number, and they just charge you, no taking cover, you either kill them quick, or loose. Husks you just take Samara, Jack, or Loyal Kasumi, force powers like Throw/Shockwave (And Kasumi's beautiful 9m radius grenades) have an insta-kill vs unarmoured husks.

 

(I play ME2 on Insanity far too much)
