Kite the banshees, hunt Brutes and Ravagers, whom you fire explode. Will take a little over half an hour, but it is as safe as it gets.

Take whatever DPS weapon you like, but no heavier than that, lighter is, of course, better. I just love my Saber (Which is now IX), since it kills mooks in one headshot, and is still good against bosses. The trick is to not get hit, you have two cloaks, use both, use both pets, use your love Bubble when you need to facetank a shot, or need shield when you are on cooldown. This guy makes Geth look stupid, even on Platinum.

I find that on Platinum, without the shields, I need to dedicate my cooldown to casting drone. Decoy is pretty sturdy on its own, but drone is flimsy, with that little boost, you should be able to cycle them on any difficulty.
Also, I agree with your ammo point, it's just I never find the need for additional CC on him, Pets and Cloak handle it pretty damned well, and since Saber destroys mooks, I find no need to CC dead things. And since I use him almost exclusively on Platinum, raw damage is more important (Especially since I don't want to disrupt team combos with Rank 1 Ammo Priming).
Not outright disagreeing, just pointing out why I made those choices.

Extreme Low: After I went to do my 1st gold solo on ps3...as I loaded in..........I got the lost connection to me3 servers msg......I mean.......consumables........what are those????........ as I did my reset.........I got back to the main menu.......I drank some beer then looked at the screen just in time to see on the crawler of other friends achievements that somebody completed the scimitar challenge.......I didn't see their gamertag..........just the last part of the crawler........." pleted scimitar challenge"........The main thought going thru my brain was pure blasphemy..........because none of my friends would never, ever, ever.........do the scimitar challenge......willingly.........so, I guess the X-Files were correct.......the truth is out there.........and whoever you are that completed that challenge, my so-called friend... I shall hunt you down........

Main menu achievement notifications lie. As far as I can tell, they are pure made up BS. Can even tell friends you have completed something you don't have unlocked. I don't know if it ever tells the truth.

It was me. Had to use it on a volus adept vs Condor Reapers Gold 10 WS for my last N7 challenge. It was a 76 minute gold solo...
You should try the Scimitar on the TSol. It's actually fun and effective on gold. That's the only setup I enjoy with that gun.
i like the scimitar mainly because of his sound and glorious ancestor. Put it on cryo build, either TSol or Hsol, and it destroys gold collector/cerb/reapa.
Finished a silver duo earlier despite having to pee for a majority of the match. I kept kind of hoping we'd lose so I could take a bathroom break...
High: Finally dared to move on to Gold. Have had 4 matches against the Geth. Full extractions every time and, while I don't really give a **** about the score as long as the player is helpful, I actually topscored two times. On my Siege Pulse + fire explosions spamming Juggy. I have only played with my friend and two randoms though. When/if I some day play with an all pug team, I'm expecting things not to go so smoothly =P
High/Low: Had a silver match with a Vorcha who insisted running away from the rest of the team... then repeatedly went down and 4 out of 5 times I was the one to revive them. On the other hand, I didn't mind because hey, good way to earn those revival medals for the challenge. On the other hand... tiresome. One would think they would realize at some point that their tactics are flawed and change them... but nope. Or maybe they grew too comfortable. Like "Yeah, that Turian will revive me again. No big deal." He/she actually stayed in my lobby and was all ready for the next match but I was like: "I don't have energy for this" and left.

Siege Pulse Jugg is best Jugg. Don't see enough of them. I find that when hosting, it pretty much takes a good infiltrator to even come close to my score when using a Siege Pulse Juggernaut. I hate playing it off-host, because everything is slower, but love it on-host.

This time around all my silver matches were a lot more chaotic and had more wipes than when playing gold. Anybody have the same experience?
People dying like flies on silver, so weird. And they didn't all look like noobs. And because I'm one of those idiots who tries to revive everyone, I got killed way too much too.
If you were playing on PS3, that's pretty normal. Silver is a cesspool of all the worst PUGs the game has to offer. Half of them don't even have feet to stay on, and the other half are arsehats.
Low: I attempted a plat solo against Cerberus on Hazard White. I did so well that I got 3 waves survived. But then wave 4 came around. Those engineers... there was a room full of turrets...

High: Finally unlocked the TGI. Yay! Low: Jumped into a game in progress Gold/Dagger/Collectors, and the lag was just enough that every time I hit my shield boost I was already dead. This happened at least three times. Then I died 3 times in a row trying to extract while teammies revived me. Immediately exited the lobby in shame for sucking with an easy kit.
Low: Joined a lobby U/U/G (which is my fav) me playing a TSol with Hurricane 1. Wrecked stuff until wave 9, whereupon my gun stopped firing. Couldn't heavy melee out of it, couldn't shoot even though had plenty of bullets, there was no volus in the game. I couldn't fire another round all the way through extraction, just proxy mine spammed to try to help out. No idea if there was some trick to fixing this.
