Highlight: 20 Headshot medal on Wave 2 of an impromptu Gold solo with the Raider (with Smart Choke obviously).
Nice! Don't think I have ever managed 20 HS with the Raider.

Low point: You know how everyone says that Banshees can't teleport down the ladder to the ladder room opposite the LZ? Well, I kited a Banshee into the ladder room from the LZ, dropped down the ladder, and...guess who had teleported ahead and was waiting for me at the bottom, ready to apply an ice-cream scoop to my intestines?
They can, but usually don't - idk what makes them teleport down. The teleporting through the wall at the LZ is happening more often, and can be very surprising to people there.

U should obviously try some TSOl raider (i waited very long to enjoy this one). With accuracy boost, U can HS quite easly at 20m.
I still wld need 20 waves in pug game to get the 20 HS though, but that s on me ![]()

Admittedly I took it kind of slow. But those Wave 2 Guardians are just begging to get their heads blown off, aren't they?

High:
1/ two banner achievements in one weekend! Completed Geth Mastery in my final game of the evening yesterday.
2/ U/Reapers/G gave Dagger Hazard to Quarian Master Race, two good pugs and me. Given that I'd brought my sniper-specced QFI, I was anticipating a disasterrific mess, but the game actually went relatively smoothly. It's particularly notable as a high point because of a pleasing moment of synergy with QMR when our quarians worked together to take down an approaching pair of Brutes.
Low:
1/ hard freeze on a pre-game loading screen. Does BioWare even have a quality assurance process?
2/ the lolstore gave me two volus cards in one evening. But it tried to make amends by also giving me a Crusader III, so I suppose I'll forgive it.

Yes they do and it's the best in the business!
Oh wait, that was a Dragon Age Inquisition meme.

I suspect QMR went on from playing with you to experience their own hard freeze, though this time it was on Wave 10 against, well, no surprise here, Collectors on Reactor. I waited to see what would happen with the host migration, but could tell that things were still not right so I just set my controller down and died as quickly as possible. I then witnessed the hilarity of a newly arrived TGI use all 6 gels, but strangely no missiles, before the mission inevitably failed. I was just glad to escape another freeze.
Oh, and I got a BPP X from the store. I now need two Typhoons for a maxed manifest. ![]()

The one time I've been in a Gold Collectors game, it ended prematurely in a hard freeze. The annoying thing is that I was actually doing okay! U/U/G on PS3 really doesn't seem to be worth the bother, best to just pick a faction. And hope that all the other causes of hard freezes don't ruin the day.
I gaze covetously upon your near-maxed manifest. Indra, Black Widow, Saber, so many goodies!

I believe QFMFT is the appropriate response to this. It really really is the best option.
As for my manifest, believe me, I've earned it the hard way, and I don't think anyone would reasonably begrudge me those two Typhoons, after 1672H 58M 32S and counting....

yeah, SterlingPhoenix sent me an invite and trying to open it and respond caused a hard freeze. At least I managed to complete both Javelin challenges that round. One of our pugs was surprisingly good, but the other was hilarious in their hopelessness. I'll never understand how it is possible to score like 20k in a gold game short of standing in a corner with rubber band on your controller.
Shame you left after because then we played several fun games.

General high point: I've recently unlocked all the characters in the manifest (I was jumping around screaming when I got the final one, Asari Justicar) so now I can focus on arsenal packs to max out my weapons and I've also started to get lvl IV ammo.
General low point: I've been playing so much DAIMP lately that I've forgotten a lot of ME3MP essentials, such as changing ammo/gear before a game and what gear works best with which kit. Also, I swear my aim's gotten worse. Forget about head shots, right now I'm lucky if I even hit the enemy.

Highlight: An all-soldier team of 2 BatSols, a TSol, and a Havoc (me). We got Giant Reapers as always, but what the hell, huh?
Low point: You know how everyone says that Banshees can't teleport down the ladder to the ladder room opposite the LZ? Well, I kited a Banshee into the ladder room from the LZ, dropped down the ladder, and...guess who had teleported ahead and was waiting for me at the bottom, ready to apply an ice-cream scoop to my intestines?
Banshees will teleport up or down a ladder depending on how close you(or someone else) are to the ladder and within their teleport distance, especially if that jump would enable a synch kill, otherwise they are usually forced to walk around and take the long way.
Which reminds me of a time once vanguarding on Ghost/reapers, was in the 1st bldg to the right of the LZ, see a target in the bldg straight ahead inside at the top of the stairs leading down, and a banshee teleporting to the LZ from teh mosh pit.
By the time I hit the charge button to hit the mook target, that banshee had teleported off the ramp and was waiting for me before I hit that mook. Not quite the same as the ladder, but the proximity of a player within the teleport animation seems to be how they *cheat* at times and makes no sense how they sometimes have space magic ESP.

Low point: last PuG was extremely glitchy. I joined a Fury who didn't have any animation when she moved, she moved across the Firebase White with her arms out like she was crucified. Two others must have joined us, because I saw someone other than the Fury killing enemies with biotics and someone put up supply pylons. Sometimes the dude on the radio informed us that a teammate had been downed, but I couldn't see them or rescue them. I think one of them rescued me when I went down, though.
If I stood over your decaying corpse while doing nothing, sorry!
High point: On wave 10 there was a take the 4 checkpoints mission. One of my glitchy, invisible teammates must have taken the first one, but while I was trying to drag the heat away from the 2nd one the Fury went down. She bled out before I got to her. I kited the enemies around a bit, then ran back to the checkpoint (it seemed like my invisible teammates were either dead or gone, since no-one touched the checkpoint or killed enemies. I went back to it, but had obviously not kited long enough, since I was killed by Pyros. Well, I popped a Medigel and tried again. This time I lead them far enough, but it was almost no time left. I abandoned all attempts at kiting and just ran like hell, leaving a Decoy behind. I got to the last one with about 16 seconds to go, and managed to clear it with two. Seconds. Left.
Sorry about the long text, but I felt like a goddamn action heroine in one of those ridiculous movies where they manage to defuse the bomb with one second to spare or so.
Low point nr2: Ten seconds after my heroic dash my poor Salarian was toasted alive by Pyros. I popped a Medigel, got on my feet and tried to shield drain/make a run for it. The Pyros laughed (probably) and flamethrowered him a bit more, then they stomped his neck.
I've started to hate Pyros with a passion.

Highlight: a) Platinum fest with noo3tastic and ernesto_bih and a highly competent friend of theirs. Not entirely sure how I let myself get talked into this but it was a huge amount of fun. We extracted 3 times out of 4 platinum games. I provided almost no assistance in killing things but I at least stayed alive most waves with my TSent for one game and Hunters for the others. So thanks for the carry.
And with the oodles of credits as a result of this, I unlocked the Batarian Slasher and Quarian Marksman. So after a break (because Plat games are super tense) I took the Slasher out for a spin with the Raider IX (ended up as X a little later. YAY!) and a no-lash build I found here. And he was a lot of fun. The Raider was a lot of fun as well. Hadn't used it before.
c) Got the Reegar up to IV. Need to take it out with my Kroguard soon.
Low: Didn't get a chance to try the Marksman or the Krosol I unlocked a few days ago. As well as a few other kits I still haven't had a chance to use. And guns. Too many choices.
Edit: interesting what happens to b ) ![]()

You can use 6/6/6/6/6 build with the Slasher. I do it, and don't regret a bit. Also, you can slap Graal on him to stick to the theme (also staggers enemies so they can't dodge Warp, and because of dat Phantom DR).
Raider is good on Brawler.
Quarian marksman is most fun with the Adas and Cryo ammo.

High point: I suppose how the Troll Store decided to give me Javelin VIII and Javelin IX in the last two days. Also has a couple of great, if not by-the-book, games with various people. Also I think now I am pretty used using Quarian Female Infiltrator, the sniping version. Still vastly inferior to Salarian Infiltrator in my opinion, but she's alright, for the most part.
Low point: the usual hijinks, equipping consumable stuff only for the game to throw me right at extraction wave, hard freeze, yada yada yada.

Highpoint: Landed in a really low level lobby with 2 Juggs and a vanilla human, can't remember what, and decided to switch over to a Jugg myself. I was genuinely hoping they would follow my lead, but they didn't, because they were pugs. I think they were too confused by the total absence of melee boosting equipment from my loadout. The conclusion when we got back to the lobby was that I managed twice their combined scores because of my great gun. A Spitfire. They can't wait to get one now. That's pretty funny.
Lowpoint: Tried to squeeze a last game of the night in with QMR - we got Thunderdome. On PS3.
Additional highpoint - Every time I open an Arsenal Pack, I have the tiny thrill of anticipation that it might be the final time I go hunting for a UR upgrade. My Destroyer is currently on standby with his Typhoon IX........

Low point: Host leecher. This person would basically run into a group and get stomped within the first minute of every wave, and as soon as he was downed, the laaaaag would start. Like a full 3-4 seconds of lag sometimes. I can only imagine that he probably started streaming video or something the second he went down. As soon as the new wave would start, the lag would magically be gone until the host was downed again.
Seriously, you're doin' it wrong. If you want to leech like that, DON'T HOST. Your stupid lag is making it so we can't get you as many credits. Have you ever tried to take down a Geth Hunter with 3 seconds of lag? You hit them with two Wraith headshots, then they shoot you 3x and down you, and then they die from your headshots. We were lucky we even got the Wave 6 credits.
