High: I decided to give soloing another try and pulled out the QME. Spent most of the solo spamming grenades at Reapers. Was ultimately successful. Strategy is for the weak and grenadeless.

 

Low: just standing in front of a Scion like an idiot and dying. I don't know what I expected to happen.

High: Had some nice games with Fire, Prana and JamesDonni yesterday. First game with Fire and Prana I was really on top of my game and EVNs lessons really showed off but the next ones I played like crap lol. My controller is faulty and plays with delays, so might have something to do with it though, couldn't figure out how to make the ps4 one to work with it. Gonna buy a new one instead and see if it works...

 

Low: I afterwards fell asleep in my tshirt and undies with the controller in my hand and the keyboard by my side, headset on my head, not a pretty sight when you're a grown woman in my age haha

Low: Vorcha Sentinel on Rio against Geth. Went in with a power amp, definitely should have taken adrenaline mod. It just felt like trying to run underwater

 

High: it still was a great match! Good teammates, heavy melees exchanged in between waves, lots of revives for when I tried to close the distance in the most direct fashion...

 

High: Most pugs have been really fun! Lots of good, competent players playing as a team; also, lots of new players using with sensitive loadouts, staying with the team, doing their best.

 

High: always a good sign when players stick around in the lobby after a match

 

Low: UUG turned into Geth Giant. Huntress, HEng, me as a Demolisher, and a Crusader AIU with astronomical N7/CP points. Sounds like a recipe for never-ending cryo-explosions and overall tech bursts, right? Except the AIU decided to play the lone wolf, showed remarkably little interest in doing wave 3 and 6 objectives, nuked spawns starting on wave 5, went down a ton, refused to use snap freeze whenever me or the Engineer were around and of course remained by the EZ at the beginning of extraction to use that precious last missile. I guess taking care of the second pizza on wave 10 should count as a high here? Thanks for reminding me how bad pugs can get.

 

High: the Huntress was a really good player: the Engineer and I left her to do her biotic thing, and teamed up to destroy everything in our path  

 

High: if anyone is wondering, when all was said and done the AIU got outscored by 20k or so. Missiles won't help you if you keep hitting the floor with your face. Also, priming/detonating in concert with another player is very effective, who would have thought that a mechanic rewarding team-play would make its way into a coop game?

Low. tried to solo again, but I kept getting the lost connection message, so nothing happened besides losing equipments. Maybe some other time...

Lower: the first time I got more points than the three remaining pugs altogether. Of course they all were beginners.

^At least we got some games in last night, with Cerbe 'R' Us, ClydeinTheShell, and Arkhne. Relaxing Golds. Sorry for the grenadespam in the first one. Not sorry.    Then decided to spare them with their sniping efforts, and went ballistic (blade) with my trusty old scumbag.

Lows: none.

Low: confusedly dying all over the place after 1) changing key bindings and 2) re-speccing a character I should not have re-specced

 

High: going from that to successfully clutching, somehow

High: Had some good games with Fuen, Xan and JamesDonni tonight and I can't recall the last time I laughed so hard, it was truly funny! Xan taught me how to use the Geth Engenier, which was both pretty neat and funny. Fuen kept calling Donni for Johnnie and Xan closed me in the reactor and then suddenly we all three played as the same Asari characters etc. It was just very amusing   I then afterwards ended the late night with a game with Fire, which was a very smooth and quick Silver run 

 

Low: Absolutely none.

High: Had some really good games with Fire alone at first, always so sweet to play with and funny too, so I never get bored with him. He then left for a break as we were waiting for EVN to join  (said 30 min+, now almost an hour, still no sign... must have fallen asleep....   ) Then during Fire's break Fuen and Jmac showed up luckily and I had a good game with them as well as usual, now on a break myself after playing all day lol, gonna join up with the bunch soon though   

 

Low: I guess none 

 

The low was you didn't get to play with me as I decided to go hiking instead of being a couch potato. 

 

Commando was the 1st alien challenge I completed, I think it took about 200 games just to finish the Disciple challenge because it was at a I for most of it and I was dumb and knew no better. Plus, i was missing several charactersas well. Anyways, congrats, that challenge is a grind.

 

Commando mastery is EASY! It's my most completed challenge in the aliens category. Outsider and Bloodpack are the grind.

 

OT

I "helped" ONI get his solo mastery to become a BOTB, and therefore unleash his elitist ******* on the pugs, that was really funny. I then bitched him out for failing to carry me as a BOTB, as I always do to any BOTB that I BEAT.

 

LOW: Collector London Plat becomes a solo as the host leaves due to memleak. They were actually a very good AHI, who knew what they were doing. I'm stuck carrying two shity pugs, after the host migration, which I eventually managed to carry to victory, with a THS with a GPS.

Yeah, I found Commando Mastery easy because it requires using characters and weapons I would use anyway. I've been avoiding Bloodpack because, conversely, it's full of things I don't like :x

I had some amazing games with Arkane and Arktinen this afternoon theyre amazing people and so good at the game! On one of them... Arkane as some ninja looking biotic and I swear he could have done the game alone... I think me and Arktinen were just moral support in that game i think she was an Asari and I was a purple adept so at least we looked pretty x

we also had a little break from the game and started looking at pretty waterfalls instead... which I always do when I play that map because its so nice!

I enjoyed playing with you guys so much... so thank you  x

High: had fun trios with Arkhne and GeneralXIV, with various combos of biotics or tech. Much boom! Oh, I always look pretty in blue (asari) but it certainly isn't one of my best handling kits, yet, as I'm pretty new to the whole Asari scene. I like the power-combos they offer but I do need more practice with them, hence will play more.

 

I also always admire the waterfalls between waves! Or the icebergs on Hydra, the outside scenery on Goddess... Have had some PUGs join me doing that on Jade. One even turned on a mic once and asked what did I see there... "Umm, pretty waterfalls and admiring the scenery between killing everything." He laughed, and joined me there between every wave after that.

Low: Couldn't find any Plat matches last night and had to settle for gold. Also failed Goddess/Geth/Gold wave 9 because everyone left (or lagged out?) and I didn't notice. Oh well

I think you are referring to my Fury? The one with wavey black lines around her and teleporting and running really fast? I dunno about soloing Silver with her (haven't tried), but my last Gold Solo attempt with her ended on.... wave 8... the same wave most of my solo attempts fails on. She is insanely deadly. I took her on a Gold match the other day with a platinum level friend who has a maxed manifest and essentially doubled their score, proving the uselessness of the scoreboard, he's a good player, but the Fury destroys everything.

 

And I'm pretty sure I caught all three of us looking at the scenery on some maps

Yes the one with the wavy lines... I think I only managed to see you like 3 times in the whole match... I was trying to find things to kill but there were non Haha all I could hear in my headphones was whomph kaboom kaboom kaboom kaboom kaboom kaboom kaboom the entire game x

High: dusting off the vanilla human adept, landed in a lobby with a Slayer and an ex-cerberus vanguard. Many, many booms were had.

 

High: a geth/condor match with two new-ish players (the more competent melee BatGuard dropped out on wave 5), me as a HSent, a Valkyrie, and an Asari Adept. Tricky to coordinate biotic explosions with so many common primers/detonators, but so rewarding once it started clicking! Wave 6 hack by the EZ, and no need to kite, just bunkering down and keeping an eye out for what the others were doing, alternating priming with detonating. Even wave 9 went by smoothly I love matches like this one, where the team comes together and snatches victory out of the metallic hands of the enemies

 

High: ever since seeing the video of TheTechnoTurian getting a non-missile, fat Turian killstreak on wave 8 gold/geth, I have been curious about trying it, and I finally managed!  Tempest TSol, I had actually just respecced back into the proxy mine - I always preferred to spec into CS as a panic button - and I think the debuff might be necessary to have the pyros' exploding tank(s) do enough damage? In any case, I am not respeccing back any time soon granted, I got mine in a pug, so someone might have sneaked a kill into the killstreak, but it still counts as high in my book

Hydra I don't really check the view out, cause I hate playing on Hydra, but there are definitely moments on Jade where the view is better than a higher score.
