High: I've just completed my first platinium solo with moderate time kinda because of the missions which was elimination/escort/devices but the game was fun.

Higher: The survive 5 wave medal was actually from wave 5 to wave 10 because I was distracted in the first waves that I died three times but I adapted the situation and completed the game without using any more medigels

... and I love the Asari Vanguard now... the first time I tried it it was ok I guess but now I think shes amazing ... I dont know if ive done it right but ive missed out the grenades... I figured that i wouldnt need them... I kept using biotic charge and a shotgun haha

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thats totally normal...let me guess..they all were wearing their Best of the Best banners? I admit, I still play silver...how else will I knock out those viper and katana challenge points? also, its much easier to get all of those 1 million melee points done on silver.... I start every night with a silver to warm up, also to use characters / weapon combos I don't like to get their challenges finished. Then I will play 2-3 gold matches....this is on xbox..those lobbies have been slower to fill up lately.

I tried to rock the backpack as I somewhat did the match prior, but I've been away for so long. My back gave out, it's ok, I have it documented with the VA. I get a decent disability check from it.

Typically games are set up for WASD movement. This is bullshit because it confuses your fingers, taking them off the home position and leading to all sorts of problems "getting used to" PC. Move them over one space to ESDF and everything goes a lot smoother. Talon Merc will hate you for it though.

Had some good games with JamesDonni and a guy who's name I can't remember, just that he's an ahf'er but no bsn'er and then a random pug. It was fun except for that the ahf'ers name I can't remember was constantly over me in the mic. He was a sweet and helpful guy, always revived me and followed me around to protect but all he could talk about was my interests, he wanted to know EVERYTHING about me, I mean, we weren't exactly alone and we were playing!!! He kept everyone waiting in the lobby just to ask me questions like where do I like to travel etc. Omg I felt like running. Like I said, the guy was nice and funny but he should have toned it down a notch lol. And then his dirty jokes.... Omg.... lol.
And did I mention that he wouldn't shut up for even two seconds? No? Well it was NON STOP!!

Owa, what you wrote there was spot-on on-topic, about your recent games, and completely about the game you were having, so why shouldn't you post about it here? I can't see a reason why not - descriptive writings are entertaining, and I like your posts.
People joining in games do it at their own will, nobody is forcing them, and nobody certainly isn't forcing them to motormouth through it. If it had gotten too weird, you could have just left the game yourself anyway. I think you don't need any chaperones, but you're a woman on your own who can clearly take care of herself.
I found your encounter - admittedly odd because of that guy's behaviour, but I also found funny the way you told it. 
There are lots of weirdos on the PS3/online, across all games, I've noticed, not just this one. Hey, many of us (especially women, I might add) have run into a lot of oddballs in our time -- remember those stories by Nightman (not calling you a girl here, though, My Queen) with those specimens he encounters? I've heard all sorts of gaming stories from other women on this forum, too. I'm sure many have their share of odd conversations to tell.
Additionally, some of those are just drunk, high or both, and might not even remember it the next day. Some of them might just be lonely and wanted a chat - and/or found it awesome that there is a woman playing! (Yes, it is still news to some people, I've learned that myself gaming). Just like you could be approaced by someone similar in real life - which can be even scarier, I can tell you that.
Pictures or no pictures, they have nothing to do with it when you've just run into someone in a match. You can't start worrying about everyone, or where someone will see what, or you'll just drive yourself mad.
And trust me, we will run into a whole lot of oddball players online, PS3 alone is a vast network, even if we never posted one picture of ourselves, or never wrote one line on this or any other forum.
It may also be good for the soul to post about these experiences and definitely not keep it to yourself and hidden. It can be a cathartic experience to write about it in its valid thread, especially if the encounter left you with an odd feeling. At the very least, you'll likely find out you're not alone with those experiences.
