[Quarian Master Race]

High: had an all asari game... with QMR playing as Valkyrie. And totally rocking. We sent Cerberus packing. It. Was. AWESOME!

 

Indeed, it was amusing. Thought about going back to a femquarian to troll everyone but meh.  I don't think I really did the kit justice. We basically missed out on 10ws due to my "loltecharmourlolshielddrainiminvincible" derping.

 

(I choose to believe that QMR was playing a femquarian sentinel who was cosplaying as an asari using holograms and stuff).
 

There's nothing to say that one of my Valkyrie's parents isn't quarian. Why else would she have such an affinity for tech?

 

I guessed it was a brand-new deployment; when QMR switched to the Valkyrie, the standard weapons were equipped and stayed there for a minute or so, I guess while powers were being specced.

 

Great players are great with any kit.  QMR could play a Juggernaut expertly, if they ever chose to stoop so low.

She was indeed only the 3rd sentinel I've deployed on this account. Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I'm never, ever going to test the puggernaut theory

Yeah, I remember thinking it's weird to see Avenger and Katana... couldn't make sense of that. You make sense in what you say.

And I thought about keeping my DA for that game... that would be one lucky drell But I just couldn't resist an all asari game.

 

The said derping is what makes Valkyrie most fun, at least in my opinion But you're right, you totally didn't do her justice.

Also, for some reason, I really like the idea of her having a quarian parent. I was thinking batarian, given her weapon of choice, but it could easily go both ways.

Low:
1/ horrible mess of a Silver Collectors game on Giant Hazard.  Lobby looked strong, but everyone dropped like flies and wiped on wave 9.  I was playing justicar; can't biosplode bosses at a distance with her, she's designed for a more aggressive play style than I'm comfortable with.  Which is no excuse for poor play, of course.

2/ London/Reapers/Gold as QFI.  First half was fine, but the pressure got to me in the second half and I spent most of the later waves running around under constant fire trying to find somewhere safe from where I could shoot.  _And_ got synced.  I am in awe of the players here who manage to solo Platinum while making it look like Bronze.

High:
Giant/Collectors/Silver as QFI.  Played a "perfect" game: used no ops packs or gel and got the twenty headshot medal.  On top of that, completed my fifth banner achievement, Squad Elite.

I make no apologies for a "mere" Silver game being the high point.  I've been playing Gold for weeks now, but can't shake the feeling that Silver is my natural level.  Gold is punching above my weight a bit, I think.  Just wish the waves were a bit longer, Silver's difficulty with Gold's wave budget would be the sweet spot.

I was pugging yesterday, entered in a wave two jade/collectors/gold. Everyone else was dying like flies. Carried everyone till wave nine, but wiped after a praetorian instakill. Next game I started to gave tips on the mic throught the match (london/geth/gold). Scored 170k with the SI, no gels used, full extraction. When we went to the lobby again I was kicked. So...low/high/low points.

Highlight: carried 3 (semi)brand new PUGs through their 1st Platinum extraction, in fact it was pretty neat because they actually listen to your instructions, "That was awesome" said one of them after the game and one added me. Not very common nowadays since many newcomers don't speak English and just run mindlessly to their death.

Low points: just finished Vindicator weapon challenge again .

Low Point:   Started my shiny new alt account....1st game I set up a bronze solo..of course it was Giant/Reapers...Level 1 Vanilla Female Soldier 1 point in Adren.Rush/ 1 point in Concus. Shot..Avenger 1/ Mantis 1.......Couldnt make it past wave 6 (devices)  <-------Seriously?

I think I'm going to try this and see how far I can get.

Low: Got an MP Invite and then "Unable to join friend's game".  Then I PUGGED gold.  Landed on a Silver lobby where a nice lady greeted "Howdy."  The game starts and everyone is invisible.  I get shot down by something.  Quit game.  Turn off ME3.

Hilights : Had some great games with great ppl from here like Taffel and Fennikin . Fennikin thinks I might even learn 2 shoot if I try hard enough lol . They dont mind that I need to get gud and they taught me lots and I had some great times .

 

Lowlight was tryin 2 snipe on ghost when this batarian was using shockwave all the time and evry time he nuked a spawn they all spawned rite behind me lol

Not sure about how the parentage technically affects things, or whether Krogans or Quarians can be individually influential, but I just wanted to confirm, based on multiple SP playthroughs with both Male and Female Shepards, that Liara certainly goes both ways.

Highlight: decided to try out my Valkyrie X (the gun) after never using it since it was level IV or so.

 

Lowlight: On Platinum with a completely random group. Vs. CerBeruS.

 

Highlight: 20 Headshot medal and soooo many dead Dragoons. (I was playing Geth Engineer with Disruptor ammo on the Valkyrie, so plenty of stagger for those idiot 'goons.)

 

Lowlight: I like this gun now but I have so few Assault Rifle rail amps. *sob*

Your score may of been too high...  that or they didn't like being told what to do. Pugs are like that.

Highlight: 10 Waves Survived as the Asari Huntress, one of my favorite characters.

 

Lowlight: it was on lolgold.

 

Highlight: 20 Headshots, 75 Sniper Rifle kills, and 25 Tech Kills as the Quarian Male Infilitrator with the Collector Sniper Rifle + Incendiary Ammo (+ Arc Grenades of course).

 

Lowlight: I overheated the thing three times.

Bad:

 

Spawned into HazGhost/Cerberus  wave 3 w/smashgard

ended up the Host had the match modded...you can guess what *extras* he put in for this.

 

one wave was Nemesis Death squads, one was phantom squads..one would be.atlas squads, wave 9 was goon squads all waves had triple the turrets

 

some waves seemed normal wave budget, but on wave 10 we go the hack in the bldg just to right of LZ, enemy spawned so much crap right outside...he must have ended it right there and then the wave was over about 10secs

 

Wave 11,,lol...Soooo many goons and phantoms..I could not count them..

 

some how I get through to last few secs on the right bldg...spent last rocket on an atlas so i could make a run to LZ die and use last gel...and as I got there and crouched behind cover and looked...theres like 6 more goons and 5 or 6 more phantoms just a few feet away from me

Had a string of games at the end of the night with two hilarious brits and another less memorable (but still cool) dude. Two golds and a platinum, all smooth and entertaining. My first plat game, and we pretty much swept house. Feels good, man.

Low and High???

 

Low: Firebase Vancouver in a silver duo with my buddy.  We're humming along and two rookies join us.  I go down by mistake and get tossed to the roof of the map.  I gel and recover and am still on top.  Then I fall off and get trapped in a small room outside the map.  And this is all happening at Wave 8.

 

High: I disconnect and reconnect through the same invite.  Then, I find myself in Wave 9 and all the rookies already bled out.  Then, my buddy and I tag team and extract properly.  Then, we got some gold games in without the rookies and kicked ass.

Highlight: a rare game with RustyBuckets02 (and David Diablo and another person who declined my friends request). U/U/P. As we were spawning in I almost called it... Collectors on Condor. Seriously, ME3MP, WTF? Anyway we managed full extraction despite...

 

Lowlight: I missed with not one but two Cobra Missiles. The first one was my own fault for aiming directly at an Atlas instead at its feet. The second one... we were escorting the drone up that shallow ramp between the LZ and the extraction zone. Two Banshees chasing us. I aimed at their feet, fired, and... nothing. zilch. nada. bupkis. The missile just disappeared into the ground with no effect.
