Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are both through to the last 16 of the Euros. It's all set up now for them to meet in the final. All other recent game highlights pale by comparison. I am quite fragile today. Fragile but happy.
In other more ME3 MP-related news, this time tomorrow it's just possible I may have my internet working properly, which will mean I can play again. Rusty as, perhaps, but looking forward to it.

Too bad, the tournament will end for the Republic of Ireland at the next round.

Haha, you mean you're not worried that Karma might play a part? We all remember that cheating scumbag's handball! I hear he switched his phone off within seconds of the fixture being confirmed. WE WILL HAVE OUR REVENGE, MONSIEUR HENRY!!!
We've also been wondering why the rest of the countries in the EM didn't have all their provinces/states playing -> maybe it's like playing roulette - you split it in 4 and hope to get an accidental 1:0 with some of them.

To make sure you didn't forget the details :
Don't worry Grunt, as MYN suggested, this time it will end sooner. 89th minute : Sagna centre in the penalty area, Giroud controls with the hand, passes to Griezmann... GOOOAAALLL ! France qualified. Poor Ireland once again !
Joke aside, I really hope it will end without any cheating this time. I do believe in reincarnation, but not in karma, or rather think that's it's an overly negative interpretation of how things really work. But that's a totally off-topic discussion (in an already off-topic post ), so I will stop here.
Just to get some on-topic stuff with a low : I haven't played for quite some time, that Blood and Wine Witcher 3 DLC is really amazing (those sunny landscapes in a France-like realm... ), what is actually... a high. Oh well.

Let's see how good the strategy would hold.
well its actually wise since the UK has 3 major natinalities (english, welsh, scottish) + english colonists in NI. It would be pointless to do that in DE or France. Team Bayern or Team Normandy wtf ....
Michel Platini is the head of UEFA + France plays at home.. alas poor Ireland...although i do hope u win
I'm delighted to be able to tell you he isn't, having been sent the same way as Blatter for corruption - banned from all football-related activities. It's not that we have long memories in Ireland or anything, but he captained the side which cheated Northern Ireland out of a place in the 82 World Cup Quarter Finals, so I was very happy to see that pompous ballbag go.
Loufi, that was low, even by BSN standards! Cheating aside, I'd say Ireland have about the same chance of beating France as Iceland have of beating England. No chance on paper, but anything can happen in a knockout match. Same with Northern Ireland versus Wales - keep Bale under control, make sure our 'keeper is on similar form to the German game, QFs become a real possibility. Whether my relationship survives the weekend or not is a whole other question.
On the point that Fuenf was attempting to troll me with, I wonder if he's just missing the bad old days when the DDR were entitled to compete on their own, or when we only had the USSR, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia to worry about. The Irish Football Association was created in 1880, so I'd say we have some moral right to compete on an international stage, especially if the recently-created constituent parts of those old countries are allowed to individually. He does of course make a serious point worthy of consideration, but I would ask that you look charitably on a country which can no longer be represented at Olympic level, since the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is now officially branded as 'Team GB', which is generally the kind of thing that happens when the Brits are allowed free reign. As for the football, well, the associations were never one in the first place, so why should they be now? We've had to put up with a lot of sh!t over the years in Northern Ireland, and are pretty much second class citizens of both the UK and Ireland, but football is one of the things that brings people together - David Healy is a national hero to all but a handful of extremists, having scored the winning goal in a World Cup qualifier against England. Likewise Gerry Armstrong for beating Spain as hosts at their World Cup, or that time Norman Whiteside beat West Germany, all by himself. Would you really deny us these moments of joy?!
And unless I'm very much mistaken, someone just referred to me as an English colonist. I've been called many things in my 47 years, but never that. Can't wait to tell my mates, but in the meantime I'll respond in a slightly more 'on-topic' fashion......
And I promise to be properly back on topic next time I post here

Umh, you have Saxons, Frisians, Bavarians, Bohemians,... but they tend to look forward (mostly). So pointless is maybe the wrong word. Illogical yes. But not pointless. (Southern) Ireland is a sovereign country- so separate team anyway (like Iceland). I'm not sure what the wisdom is to split competence over multiple teams - likely traditionalist.
OT :
Low Point : Cannot relax with me3 mp whilst on business trip
High: Been playing ME2 again, as an Adept which I haven't done in a few years.
High: Biotic (not)Booms, ragdolling, and generally just treating the enemy like my b*tch.
Low: Renegade Playthrough. I must confess, I don't enjoy being the arse all the time.
High: Renegade Playthrough, much headbutting. And shooting of idiots.
Honestly, I usually end up playing a Paragon playthrough with a splash of Renegade, because some people deserve it, and as a Renegade, I don't enjoy it as much, and some things are just too much, I wont even do it as a Renegade. Does this make me a bad gamer?

yeah but they have been molded into germans since 843 or 962 depends how you look at it
on the isles (the bigger one) u have welsh, english, scottish folk, they didnt have time to mold them into brits 1707 is like yesterday in the history of a nation

PS. can you throw me a bottle of tokay plz
mmm.
Tell us about your diversity where you live each european country has a lot of diversity.
If you asked any well versed Bavarian, if he sees himself as "molded" into a German he would probably get agggitated. They have their own flag, Own dialect, own political party, ability to have own independent referendums (apart from Germany), own festivals, public holidays, etc.
Moreover Hansa cities (200 in total) were totally independent from any state still until 1871...
Hey, even the argument : "own football club" is overrated: who in the world doesn't know FC Bayern or FC Barcelona (Spain/catalonia)? They'd probably beat the majority of the countries with one leg bound to a lamppost.
Herman Charles Bosman one wrote of a dandy with the "worldly wisdom of a man well travelled but nothing seen". At least those on the continent should not fail to acknowledge the EU motto : "United in diversity"
OT : probably will join AHF tomorrow evening for a round or 2.
...there is a difference between being bavarian (germany) and being welsh (UK)...
Cough. I doubt it. No more or less than the Britons(France), Catalonians, Sicilians, Venicians, ...endless list.
OT : just 36 UR upgrades to go for manifest completion. That is 79 days on gold or 53 on plat.

well then looking forward to the bavarian referebdum to leave the federal republic
Well what I should of done was change it to Platinum, because that's what that lobby was set for. But then again, many don't like it when I do that to begin with, so...

UR are overrated seriously
Gasp ....RU sure? Well that would be a splendid surprise, when the Welsh would vote on a referendum to rejoin EU ; where the Scots refrained although the Irish showed them the way. I bet some Mac's are turning in their graves right now. Some banks have already started to negotiate shifting their HQ to Amsterdam, Frankfurt. "Just incase"- Those guys are quick.
Welsh proverb: Dyrval donc a dyr y garreg : tapping persistently breaks even a stone.
OT: hope to meet a Welsh ingame in me3mp, someday
OT2: I will be nonchalant on UR's only after finishing the manifest.

^^^^^^^^^^^ Unlocks 2 ultra rares then complains about it.......congratz... you are now an official BSNr.........
seriously, that happens all the time.......the reserves pack will mainly give you character cards for stuff you already have before they give you a brand new character...stick to the premium spectre packs...they give you the best shot at everything.

High: Broke a real life-imposed ten days ME3MP abstinence period (the longest since I started) pugging into LightRobot and ToastTheKnowing for three fun games. First trying a Human Sentinel Tech Armor build. Second one too, but i got disconnected (luckily, cause it was London collectors and I was getting dangerously low on Gel despite Responder Loadout). I managed to rejoin as a Mantis HSol. Third was an all Volus thanks to the collaboration of Crashsuit, who dropped into the lobby. Neither him nor myself made it (damned banshees), but it was fun nonetheless.
