I don't much care about the PUGs ability to play/kill things, but I DO care about their attempting to do objectives. Because if they are dying doing the objective, I can easily revive them and take care of them, and they will learn through experience. Spectator mode doesn't exactly teach anything. I do think credits should have been tied to objective participation, something needs to be done to counter-act the scoreboard mentality. Then, I wouldn't mind scorewh*res so much, 'cause I'd just get their share of the credits, too. I suspect that even this wouldn't help the utter stupidity shown by PUGs.

After plenty uneventful matches, I had a lobby which made my blood boil again.

I thought I have a lvl 18 Collector, let's Plat. Opened a lobby, two people (Sephiroth001, yst2-a) joined. I didn't have time to choose a faction (and I don't U/U with pugs, unless I knew them from before. Even if they are not leechers, they just unable to handle Geth or Cerberus, not mentioning knowing the Collector protocol). I switched to Reaper. They bailed instantly, well was it too easy or something?

I searched for a pug game and I got these two again and a guy who disconnected at the beginning of the match. They had U/U. I was a f*cking idiot for pressing ready. HGlacier, Cerberus. Not even 10 seconds passed, and two of them was down already. What is better, our host, Sephiroth decided not to gel, which just added to the anger because he was good with the HVA. A leecher named einstein7765 joined (he managed to average 1k/wave). Yst2-a was actually decent, used gel and was good, but wasn't ready for this and left in W4 or 5. Neither was I, though, I was out of gels in W5 which I had to finish (W2 ate three of them, multiple dragoons in a small place can go s*ck each other). I did W6 for the two leecher and a Phantom sniped me in W7, so mission failed.

After the game, I couldn't resist the urge and sent a message to my dear Sephiroth about him finishing every round on the floor. His answer:
"im not wasting medi gels (the eternal sunshine of the ps3 pug mind) beside with some1 like "einstein" we probably won make it through" What about your other two teammates who you f*cked in the *ss by this way, not to mention possibly the mission, because reviving you meant us gelling after the deed? So I answered him the "he was a leecher but where will you use gels if not on plat?" message. He started to bombard me with messages, I never replied back, because that means me being a colossal f*cktard and I don't want that.

This one just made me full rage. WTF you nuckfugget, you mean Platinum is not a challenge for you anymore? I guess that is why you died multiple times every wave. Or was that a veiled insult to us not good enough? Then why didn't you quit? You hate wasting stuff, so you rather waste your best equipments than six f*ing medi gel? Or you mean, it was a hard game because there wasn't three other experienced players? THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU GEL TO HELP THE OTHERS INSTEAD OF LEAVING THEM ALONE?

It's okay, let the others carry me for at least 40% of the game (he used a gel in W7 the first time, so 60%), no matter the circumstances, like it's a hard faction/map combination, I died in an impossible spot, it's an objective wave, etc. GO AND EAT SH*T.

U FKN WOT M8? You had 50 medi gels? You can waste them! But his whole plan just ridiculous: he SAVES on medi gel, wastes lvl3-4 equipments, wastes the W10-extraction credits (actually, he would waste EVERY CREDIT a match has, if no-gel in the first 4-6 waves). He doesn't fight for a 140k reward, to save on the 33k JEP pack. I actually can't comment this, I'm confused beyond words.

 

Next comment is him saying he maxed out everything except URs. Thank you for the infomation.

Only. Yeah, only. May the Gods save the soul of that innocent human being who drops into your U/U lobby in the remaining time. ONLY. Sudden thought: what was his problem with my Reapers lobby? Does he know that he gets the same money from an U/U match than a pre-chosen match? He had a lvl 20 character, so he didn't care about the XPs.

Now I have ambivalent feelings about him, on the one hand he is really good with the HA (looking at his manifest he only played as a vanilla Human Adept, ever), and PS3 Plat isn't really a crowded place, so every good player is appreciated. On the other hand these things he has are so annoying and counterproductive that it almost doesn't even matter that he's good.

I would tell him exactly that. If you have any sort of relationship with him, that is. Beyond that I'd just avoid him moving forward, if the two of you are not friends.

I can't avoid him, and I'm not a friend of his, I haven't even played with the guy until Friday(?), when I wrote my ragepost. We have played before, I will add you. PSN name is exactly the same as here, right?

No lows so far today, since spawn-nuking scorewhore pugs, while obnoxious, are not ultimately my problem! Plus I outscored most of them anyway, so who cares.

FINALLY killed my 1 bazillionth Bomber and got the Geth challenge done. NOW I HAS A TITLE as in (01) and I might have another next year. Actually I can't think of many challenges more annoying than anything with Geth.

GG with the highly professional Salarian Infiltrator Master Race last night on Dagger/Derps/Gold along with two very skilled pugs. I actually didn't die much in that one.

Had some really good games tonight after a break for a few days. Can't remember the last time I laughed this much playing me3 mp

 

First I played with Ark, Mexx and James, tried out a new character, the Turian Engineer and he was a bit too hard to get used to, especially on gold and with the Acolyte since I don't have the patience for such a weapon which needs to charge up for each shot. I kept dying and dying and almost rage quit, poor Mexx kept reviving me. Then afterwards me and Ark, Mexx and Xan played and that was so much fun! I went back to playing as EDI which I'm familiar with and we just laughed our way through, Mexx had to leave at one point sadly and the three of us were left to ourselves but damn it was fun. Ark kept speaking Danish in this funny way lol. And Xan was his usual funny charming self. The whole thing was comical and entertaining

High: BatSol is growing on me. Another 150 waves to go, but using him is less of a struggle than before.

I just played the buggiest game I ever had in ME3MP.

QFE, with Acolyte+Hurricane, found a Reaper Plat lobby, got Condor (the first time ever, somehow it eluded me on Plat)

It started with sound problems. No power sounds, no weapon sounds. It continued with visual glitches, no shied-breaking sound, no red blood at the edge of the screen.

Invisible enemy projectiles. Also, the biotic field on the Banshee just went invisible at times.
My Acolyte refused to work for 2 waves. It shot the bullet, but caused no damage.

The Hurricane just shat itself in W4. It started to give out sound, however it NEVER STOPPED. I had to listen to it until extraction, which meant at least 25 minutes. The weapon itself had its normal sound, just a version which was high pitched af as it was fastened by at least 5 times its original sounds.

The Hurricane bullets depleted even if I stopped shooting with it.

Cryo Blast and Incinerate sometimes just didn't feel causing any damage.

The good old D-pad confusion striked many times in the first 5 waves. It didn't recognize the button (or recognized it as a medi-gel), and if it did, used the wrong one.

At some times I was unable to revive, as the game didn't respond to me pressing X.

At the end, I only got 48k XP (but I got the money, thankfully).

 

How did I get 85k points is way beyond me.

As someone who has officially clocked those waves more than a dozen times, I suspect the key to enjoying the BatSol to the full is to simply "STOP STRUGGLING!!!"

Him and Ark and Mexx are like lightening everytime we play, overly fast, running from one end till the other in a split second killing everything and I'm lucky if I get one kill lol. But I wouldn't say you aren't as good as them Fuen, you are more than a good player, you do those platinums like they were easy.
