Solo Mastery is for sure NOT the easiest Banner to get (was one of the last ones I needed to finish Mass Effect Mastery aka BotB)

wow. It's not easy to solo the first time - my problem was that I watched PC solo's and tried to duplicate that style. It does'nt work on PS3 exactly like that.  (in my opinion) The most important aspect of tackling a solo would 1) to be able to kill all types of an enemies in a faction confidently in a predetermined time 2) having reflex automation for handling clusters of enemies or hermit's .

 

Just remember, there are actually few veterans that have earned the Gold/Plat solos challenge fair & square - most glitched and wangled it. So be proud of yourself.

 

OWA should be proud of herself, and I don't want to diminish her achievement. I'm also not picking a fight in any way, just chuckling to myself because you are without doubt the ultimate 'stats guy' on this forum, but I suspect your penultimate sentence may not be based on anything other than the first thing that popped into your head. You can't have any evidence for that. You just can't. Not even you!   

 

High: Fat Turian adventures yesterday, most notably on Ghost against Collectors. I was greatly indebted to a TGI / Harrier who revived me on wave 11 when I was already out of gels. I guess it made up for the aggro-dumping when we were working together very well on earlier waves. It's always good to make it back to a PS3 lobby when Collectors have been involved.

 

Quadruple High: Thanks to Turian Fatness, I will never, ever , ever have to use the Incisor again. Sniper Rifle Mastery now complete on this account.  Happy happy joy joy.

I have never done a Platinum solo.  I got my Lone Wolf banner by doing two Gold solos with the Batarian Soldier / Claymore.  Both were on Reapers / Giant.  One was with Incendiary Ammo   , the other was senza formaggio (I think I used Warp Ammo). 

 

So there's some evidence in support of your theory.  Both of them used Shock Trooper V instead of Grenade Cap V though, so it could have been way cheesier I guess.

QFT. I have good results from the green cables, with neon green termination points & gold plated connections. actually get 3 MW more upload speed through wifi. Think brand is called Blue Frog cable

Good catching with you and Xan. At least, I got to rage nuke a MFin Prime and got Xan to laugh.

And believe me, if you can solo a bronze, you will be able to solo a silver, and eventually a gold. Hell, I still haven't even got up the nerve to try a solo plat after 1300 hours.

High: Last night I got to play with Fuen again after not having played together for several weeks. This was really nice! We played together with Mexx and later Xan joined us and we had the best laughs ever. They really know how to entertain lol

 

And what I also very much enjoy, is the AHF. I think it's a wonderful place to unite all the ps3 players and it's also really fun to chat with each other in between the games, or during even. It's just been good for me overall, exactly what I needed ever since I started posting in this section. I've made lots of friends that way.

Just kidding. Like I've said, they were just messing around practice runs. Ryu was first to drop in, then we went to UUG for a  match Ryu described as "Why does everyone's name start with an S?"

I did my first gold match with random people!!! Ive only ever played on gold a small amount with the ahf because its super hard but... I figured with this happening I might as well have an experience before its too late...

I was using a Quarian Male Engineer (purple of course)... with the Mattock I think??? (level 1 mattock )

... it didnt go too bad... when I joined it was wave 3... and the map with the reactor core but not the one where you can activate the reactor just the normal version??? that anyway haha it was against the Reapers... I only died about 6 times??? Which is good for me because I usually die a lot like im ok at killing things but I die a loooottt... and I came SECOND!!!! Only by like 5000 points or something but I got like 81000 and came second and thats my first gold game without pros who have all the guns and with random people instead!!!

Id just like to say thank you to Marksmad for making this thread... for me being so new to the game and the forum its hard for me to contribute to things because im still not 100% confident on the map names and I dont know how much damage things do and whats best and what isnt so when most threads pop up I cant contribute at all... but this thread is one of my favorite things about this forum i can contribute to it, its interesting and... I guess its a thread you can use every day... not just a one off topic but its somewhere which basically asks 'youve just played mass effect, how was it???"... thats a nice thing to have this for me and the other thread youve made that ive seen are THE 2 most important and best topics on the whole forum... its made me super happy contributing to this topic and reading other peoples contributions to it... you once told me some people went off topic and tried to get it closed but im so glad it survived for me to see it I wouldnt have liked it here as much if it wasnt for this thread
