Low:

Went into U/U/G with a bunch of low N7 idiots because I couldn't get a different lobby. At first it looked promising, lots of biotic explosions. But totally fell apart by wave 6 when they just kept getting killed by banshees. I tried my best to save them with the missile launcher but they just didn't learn at all. They all kept standing around the banshees, getting grabbed one by one. What a bunch of morons...

I did most of wave 7 by myself, using up all my medigel because I'm not good enough to solo gold. Then in wave 8 banshees got them all again and then I died too.

People like that shouldn't even be on silver. Gawd, that was infuriating.

 

Next thing you know, you're peak bagging while giving tours to pugs in your backpack on a regular basis. I want to say it gets better, but it never really does. I should know; the view from the backpack is quite nice.

Good thing I don't have a xbox live gold membership anymore. I've been using up my remaining 48h coupons over the past few weeks while I was home with a shattered heel bone. Going back to work next week. It's nice revisiting the MP once in a while but the 300 hours I spent with it was plenty. Time to put it to rest. I just wish I didn't get the itch every few months...

 

(That said, if anybody has a coupon or two they don't need, send me a PM with the code. )

Highlight: Played the Venom AIU for a few games last night. The games were fairly ordinary, the actual highlight was the thought of all the sweet BSN tears that would be shed at the thought of someone playing a "banned" kit

 

Low point: Consistently misjudging just how far a Pyro can throw those flames

High/Low - Realised I can't play Krogan.

Low - Wiped on wave 1 of a bronze solo on a new account. Human adept with a shiny Eagle 1 on Goddess/Cerberus. I had enough time to cast a singularity at the first spawn before the batteries in my controller died. Wipe.

High: started a game with ark171 and two of my old buddies from when I was learning this game. Platinum Giant vs. Cerberus.

 

Low: lost connection on Wave 4. They kindly left an Atlas alive while I reconnected. Lost connection against on Wave 6, and gave up. *sigh*

High: carried a Turian Soldier armed with a Typhoon into a UUP that turned out to be Hydra/Cerberus. Downing an Atlas without letting the trigger go is cathartic. Extracted leaving a sea of shells behind.

 

Low: never used the Typhoon much before, now I regret having it only at II...

High/Low - Realised I can't play Krogan.

 

Let me ask you a question:  Are you equipping a shotgun with an omni-blade and backhanding/headbutting/hammering everything you see?  Because if you're not doing that, then I can understand why you're having a problem playing Krogan.

 

More serious advice:  Adrenaline Mods help a TON on Krogan.  Way more than Cyclonics on many classes (the Adept, Sentinel, and Soldier, especially).  Helps you make up for the lack of a dodge.  Try it, if you haven't.

Don't forget grenading everything you see when playing KroSol or KroSent

I actually was playing the Vanguard with the Kishock. I have actually (finally!) unlocked the Wraith now so I might try shotguns.

Low point - Playing a game today (which was laggy) as the Shadow. One in four shadow strikes worked.

Low Point - host and 2 other PUGs did not put on any consumables.  One did not even have gear.  Normally, I would bail but thought I would at least carry them to wave 6 for some credits.  I was using level III and IV consumables as usual.

 

High Point - the PUGs did surprisingly well.  Full extraction with the lowest score being 81K.

 

I smell BSNers with alt accounts.

High Point:  Ark171 and I carried two Platinum/Collectors/Glacier pugs to full extraction, with both of us in the 200k Club at the end

 

Low Point:  U/U/G with 3 pugs on Collectors London, while I cloak the second device, 3 pugs go down, no gel, stomp/bleed out, and I'm only halfway through the second device on Wave 3.  I let the Praetorian interrupt my programming for a brief message from his sponsor.

High: couple of great duos with Stephen. It's amazing how much better vorsent can get if you give him a decent weapon(aka, anything that's not SMG, specifically, Hornet). Finished Outsider Mastery. Three more challenges to BotB.

 

Low: Marauder elbows sting. Like, a ton. Also, ops packs are fraggin useless off host. It's a lesson I keep learning every session of mine, but stubbornly resist to learn.

High: Had several great Plat matches with PurpGuy last night (I don't remember playing with this Salarian Master Race ^^^ guy tho...) which included a hilarious duo on Ghost that somehow ended successfully.

Highlight: Experienced my fastest PUG ever of 13:47 with full extraction and credits on Gold/Jade/Collectors. Are vasily1204 and N7Umbra well-known BSNers? I have no idea.

 

Lowlight: Wish I had friends who still played ME3 so I wouldn't be stuck doing PUGs every time.

 

 

Highlight: A Claymore Fury joined my game of adepts/vanguards on Gold/Condor/Cerberus.

 

Lowlight: She outscored all of us.

 

 

Lowlight: Accidentally activated the reactor while trying to dodge during a hack objective inside the reactor on Gold/Reactor/Geth.

 

Highlight: Total teamkill.

 

Lowlight: Had to spend 2 medi-gel and 2 ops packs reviving everyone.

Low: Promoted whole soldier class just because I wanted to respec Geth soldier and forgot there are respec cards in this game.

High: my Typhoon wielding Juggy (I had only ever used PPR/Spitfire on him before) Obliterated Cerberus on Glacier last night to the tune of 217k.. ( I was shocked because I threw him away about a year ago)

Highlight: My Ascension Mode build collector adept did surprisingly well on Gold/White/Reapers.

 

Lowlight: All three of us wiped on the extraction wave.
