Here are a few short clips from one of the two ME3MP matches I've played this month
And from the same match, a good demonstrative sequence as well at 3:52
Just a taste of what regular gameplay is like. In fact I'm a little rusty in those clips. Clips from the other match played this month is in a third video. If you're looking for a lowpoint you can find it in that one ![]()
In our long ME3 careers there've been strange things going on but some more thinking will need to be had before remembering them. Here is just as good a place as any to post these clips ![]()
High: Recording one of the most amusing hits by a KroLord I've seen yet. He smacked a Cerb. trooper off the landing pad on White. It was a flying-Jesus-pose-homerun-that-could-go-all-the-way. It did. Perfect.
Low: Not seeing that kind of stuff in every match.

Looks like I lied
While looking through Shadowplay files it turns out there is a lot of footage around New Year's, conveniently including this Justicar clip
Changed my mouse sensitivity so there are one or two missed shots. Not enough phantoms and regular mooks to show Pull spam, but there is a nice Pull->dodge->Reave at 2:15. Still, the build's been around a long while; I was not the originator. Enjoy ![]()

btw We did 21:38 Platinum, not bad for a Platinum PUG with players joining late, including the high score, with a guy being carried, on a large map, and the second highest score was a level 9. You can see proof at the beginning and end of the video in the above link. EDIT: And I didn't even use a weapon amp
No missile speedrun, but it's just a random PUG with the above screwed up factors. Damn right I am pleased ![]()
Right, I'm off, spent way too much time on here when it should have been a simple driveby with a few grunts
Highlights - AR Mastery! My 2nd Mastery. Sill enjoying the HE with the Falcon. Staggering everything is fun.
Low points - I'd been playing Silver mostly so a couple of gold games were quite a rude awakening - especially the 1st (stupid Cerberus phantoms and dragoons on Rio).
Off topic - Did I read something about phantoms being worse if you're the host? How so? Harder to kill or more likely to seek you out?
Highlights:
+ Getting to play with some of the BSN crème de la crème during the past week: BioticPulse, JRandall, BaileyTheFlyingLemur, PaunchyCyclops, ark171/lonerenforcer/emo_swarmer, purpguy, Illegal Algebra, JhereJose and many others that I may have forgotten ![]()
+ Ark & I sitting in the lobby with kits like Drell Vanguard with Javelin and Spitfire, shotgun amp on SMG, Explosive Rounds, and Medigel Transmitter and getting the expected "W.T.F.!!!???" response when the others joined ![]()
+ Javelin headshotting the combat engineer that JheregJose's Vorcha was about to melee so that he meleed a headless corpse ![]()
+ Getting Illegal Algebra with a possessed A-bomb on Jade/Collectors/Plat
![]()
Low points:
- Illegal Algebra getting me with a possessed A-bomb (that I was trying to blow up on him) by an extremely skillful combination of Annihilation Fikeld and Asari dodge. ![]()
- hearing BioMod02 nailed purp to the wall - and not in the good way!
![]()
Highlights:
- Getting a headshot on a dragoon half way through it's mid lunge attacking animation.
- Landing a headshot on phantom, with a charged arc pistol while in staggered animation. (Feels good to be an inferior version of a geth hunter shooting it's GPS while in stagger animation tactics)
- Causing the fastest rage quit ft. ninjarevolution2
- Made a toxic pug lobby get mad at me for using the batarian vanguard with reegar and calling me cheater and a hacker and how they wanted to back at me by using flamer in front of my face.
- Reached the 4k mark in how many pug games i've played for ME3 MP.
- Saved a pug from being sync killed by phantom by using stasis on the phantom before she completed her sync kill animation.
Lowpoints
- I don't know how to use the venom to inject venom into my enemies.
- hearing BioMod02 nailed purp to the wall - and not in the good way!![]()

In playing with him yesterday, he imparted to me his sneaking suspicion that BWEAmelia is, in fact, BioWareMod02. It would seem that Purps time behind bars is meant to serve as a lesson/example of some kind...but getting a permaban because of an avatar (which has stood for more than a year, no less) seems a little harsh.
The funniest part was where we joked that she took things even further when she got on her Banshee Account and synced Purp in-game! ![]()

What happened to Purp, and why?
What happened to Purp, and why?
Let's just say that things are a little...unstable over in the DAMP forums, and that some members of the community are none too pleased with the game's state or BioWare's PR department. From what I understand, there have been several bannings (some permanent, others less so) issued to some of these members, and even if Purp wasn't one of these "villians" (there were some interesting posts made by employees) per se, he's seemingly caught up in it.
To make a long story short, the reasoning given for his permaban was for this (click at your own discretion!) "inappropriate" avatar, which he has had for more than a year. He will appeal the ban, so I'm told, and as he hasn't had any warning points prior to this incident - not to mention that the avatar has stood for more than a year without any kind of hint from BioWare that it's against regs - I think he'll be back. There's obviously more going on behind this banning than what's on the surface, but I'll keep such notions to myself.
And as for specifics behind some of the "instabilities" in the DAMP forums? I think Boogie or JRandall could tell you more ![]()
High: Getting a PM on Origin from an old friend and then proceeding to tear $#!+ up for several games.
Low: Had to leave. :/
Highlights: Surviving to extraction even though the game wouldn't let me reload ammo and only occasionally decided that warp would work by spamming overload, meleeing and missiling on Dagger Cerberus from about the 5th or 6th round after receiving an invite from likevel. Meleeing worked better than expected even on a thankfully pretty low health phantom and the occasional dragoon.
Low Points: Cerberus is fast replacing Collectors as my least favorite enemy. Especially on gold. And, of course, I seemed to have them every other game.
High point: completing a Bronze solo run with my QME. I got the Bronze solo challenge a while ago using the Krogan Warlord Sentinel because his healing factor made it doable. But now I've managed it with one of my favourite classes. Today was a good day.
Low point: risking joining a few Silver matches and ending up with Collectors.
It makes me think they decided to do a social experiment with these two games and their forums. Like a decision was made to go in the opposite direction and not talk or engage with the players and when they do it is pr speak. There definitely is not a person like brojo in the damp forums. From what I've been reading it feels like there is very much a lack of community between BW and the players this time around. What happened to Purp, and why?
High Point - playing with the best Volus engineer i have ever seen, used recon mine properly, used shield boost to keep us going, even used proxy mine well, best part, he used missles when things got hairy instead of being a douche and saving them all for extraction to blast spawns.
Low Point - Joining games that retards have modded which arent set to private. Thanks mate, i really want to one shot every enemy...
From what I've been reading it feels like there is very much a lack of community between BW and the players this time around.
Of course I haven't been lurking there as much as I did here so I may be missing the mark a bit, but there is definitely something off as far a the mp is concerned.
Oh yeah, there seems to be LOT of anger in there - mostly players throwing tantrums at BW. Though a lot of BW posts in there felt like either denial of issues (that clearly exist), or overly defensive, so I can understand where the players are coming from too. The defensiveness I can certainly understand as well, given the sheer amount of rage being directed against them.
Which is why I'm stepping completely out of the DAMP forums for now, and for the next while I'll probably only be playing the weekend challenges.
Anyway, back on topic:
Highlight: I'm back! First ME3 match in a few months now, but apparently I can still rock my HEngie with the ARC like I did before I stopped.
Lowlight: I got synced by a Brute. On stairs...
Geth I got lucky as hell today.
As if the Collector rifle wasn't powerful enough already on the Quarian infiltrator

High points:
1/ taking a chance at joining BSN and being welcomed by friendly players. Thanks, people :-)
2/ pugging Silver/Cerberus with mixed fortunes but having fun.
3/ playing my first ever non-pug Silver games with Quarian Master Race. Played like a newb, but 'twas orders of magnitude more fun than grinding Bronze. Even the Collectors game managed to not be awful.
Low points: uhm, none really, everything was fun today :-)
Highpoints:
- Finally mastered Drell Vanguard. Topping scoreboard with players who know their stuff, moving all over battlefield in my fancy jacket, no sheets given about damage taken because I am to cool to let anything scratch my jacket... Still go down, but not as much as I used to, and usually in later waves, and most important of all: didnt use all my OPS packs and medigels in match, like I used to do.
That is my highpoint of this entire game, really. When I got into this game, I was like:
'Drellguard? Pffff... Move that piece of sheet out of my way, give me something awesome, gimme TGI, gimme AIU infiltrator... And now, I overcome those because in some ways I feel like their OP insults my skills, and now just tend to enjoy all those characters/weapons that store gave me when I started playing this game (at the time I thought that I am getting trolled)
Low point:
- It took me really a lot of time to give up on Executioner pistol. I gave to many chances to that thing, but I decided to throw it out of the airlock after last match. I swear, that damn things fires blanks. Buy pistol engineered by Vorcha they said, it will be fun they said...
The only way I've really been able to make the Executioner work is with headshots and one of the damage mod barrels. Piercing or Drill ammo helps some too. But most of all; Stasis. That pretty much restricted using the Executioner to the Asari adept and the Volus adept.
Otherwise, the Executioner is just too slow.

So much nope. It's awesome on any infiltrator. Srsly, it's one of the best sniper rifles in the game.
