And what console do you play mostly on these days? PS3 or the new 360 account? For me it's been all PS3 since my 360 retirement. Once I get a proper WiiU gamepad, I'm going to keep both new accounts going back to back. ... At least I now know you name for PS3, otherwise I never would of known it was you if I ever ran into you in PS3 Land.

Low; someone ninja'd a game to Plat at the worst time because I decided to try the Raptor on my new can't aim PS3 gamepad with Turbo Fire feature. Even had can't aim Proxy Mine on my Salarian Infiltrator. So really wish I new it was going to be a Plat game otherwise this wouldn't been my setup. Going back to the PS4 gamepad and never going back to PS3 analog sticks again, despite it having Turbo Fire. 

 

Low; joined a game in progess Gold game with my new Collector Adept & CollectorAR IV, with 3 try hard Infiltrators and 3 try hard weapons. I figured it should be fast so I might as well stay for the cash. Once I couldn't shake off a Banshee on wave 7 or 8, that's when I decided to bail. No money is worth the whole team dumping Banshee agro on the only non-infiltrator in the match. Plus the matches weren't going fast enough with so many winfiltrators.

High Light: Watching Illegal Math Problems get Banshee'd while I was standing right in front of him with a Cobra ready 2 go...Nope...You Die   ..then my Asari Adept Tea Bagged him the rest of the Wave costing me 4 Gels & 3 Op's pack's...Well worth it.

 I think we can proudly say we know how to deal with those Praetorians, right?!    

and it's hard to get up to Claymoar range with much left to kill with both the inflitrators sniping and grenading everything to death, a Quarksman with a Piranha automatic sniper rifle and everything taking retarded damage from sabotage and tacscans. AM3 is your friend on her if you have any.

And yes, next game was nearly as gud until I froze. Krogan ryncol molotovs+ incinerate= lots of broken toasters.

I liked the Falcon Ex-Cerberus Vanguad so much that I played him on purpose. And got Cerberus.

Falcon stagger-locking Phantoms never gets old. Sometimes I would just do that rather than finish them off with a Charge / Fire Explosion.

High: got the most spectacular possessed abomination kill yet. From Hydra's control room, with one teammate down by the boxes under the passageway, one throw to toss the abomination down on its head; throw recharges while the abomination is still in flight and with a reticule, throw again, abomination disappears from view, throw curves right down... BOOOOOOOM "squadmate down" No need to jel mate, I was going to come clean up that mess.

 

Low: forget UR's, I haven't seen a weapon amp III in days! Drowning in stabilization modules, explosive ammo and VI's though...

[Batarian Master Race]

High: Had a pretty sweet Engineer game with two humans, a robot, and a quarian female. Tech bursts and fire explosions and four bosses with one rocket. Good times.

 

Low: We lost one of the players after the team was down to 2, with Praetorians and Posessed Scions closing in on all sides. _{You could have at least stuck around for failure credits. Not that we DID fail, mind you.}

My highlights from my platinum pugging adventures on the PS3:

I carried a platinum game with the volus mercenary with the reegar carbine and got 1st place.

Managed to carry a bunch of low N7 newbies on platinum with the volus mercenary but failed at wave 7 unfortunately.

Witnessed a krogan vanguard charging a single phantom on wave 1 and got sync killed and then left the game.

The Randomizer decided I needed to play nothing but grenade classes last night.

 

Game 1: Batarian Soldier

N7Lady (Shadow), one of her friends (QFE), and ark171 (Krogan Warlord w/ Venom) joined, vs. Collectors on Giant Hazard. So... much... screenshake!

Low: I was blessed with the Eviscerator shotgun.

High: I topscored despite not even getting 25 weapon kills, thanks to the cheesy goodness of Inferno Grenades.

 

Game 2: Drell Adept with Collector Sniper Rifle

I don't remember who played what but it was vs. Cerberus on Goddess.

Low: I had to take a phone call around Wave 7 and started sucking. Also, nobody extracted.

Low: that one Phantom on like Wave 9 who wouldn't die despite being Reave'd and Cluster Grenaded. F--- you, on-host Phantom DR.

High: we still got Mission Successful, so there.

 

Game 3: N7 Demolisher with... Collector Sniper Rifle (again)

ark171 was the Human Infiltrator with... Collector Sniper Rifle. I think the Randomizer was stuck.

AGarciaMD was with us but I forget what he played.

vs. Collectors on Reactor Hazard

Low: I failed to cook anyone even though I was trying to get ark171 some practice (Go Wild! oh wait)

High: somehow I survived getting stuck in the back section between two Praetorians and a bunch of Captains. It cost me 2 Gels, 1 Ops, and 1 Missile but I manged to GTFO and solo out the wave. Arc Grenades are pretty damn good.

Low: My Shaman joined a GiP on Reactor Hazard on an early wave, and I ran at some Geth that were on the other side of the reactor, and got locked in.

 

High: I hit the Ops Pack fast enough to make it out alive and smack those Geth across the face flashlight.

 

High: Wave 6 objective was the hack in the reactor. The team ran in, I ran in, pressed the button, ran out and around in a loop while they cooked, and revived them.

 

Highest: Wave 10 drone escort...through the reactor! They all hesitated and looked at me before stepping in, so I walked calmly inside the reactor, they followed, I hit the button from inside and swallowed an Ops Pack. Then revived them again.

 

Despite all this, we actually got full extraction in the end

Played my first Platinum game in a while, with RustyBuckets02, Brann1gan, and Drake Valencez.

 

Low: Platinum London vs. Geth.

High: all the Primes targeted Rusty instead of me.

Low: I bled out or got synch'd (forget which) on one of the later waves.

High: we got missile happy on Wave 10 and Extraction Wave and gibbed many annoying enemies. Full Extraction!

Also played some themed games (on Gold) with SweetBabyJeebus and Sleazir.

 

All Volus team vs. Geth on Rio.

Low: Escort, Packages, Escort? Screw you, whomever picks objectives for Rio.

High: watching Geth Primes turn their back on me to attack SBJ's Volus Decoy, so I could shoot them up with the mighty SABRE VOLUS ENGINEER.

Also High: detonating Recon Mine to save people from Geth stompage.

 

All Geth team vs. Cerberus on White.

High: I cheesed out with Geth Flamer Trooper with Acolyte / Disruptor ammo, while SBJ was the GI with Javelin. At one point I stunned, and SBJ headshot, about 10 consecutive Cerberus idiots who climbed the ladder near the main ammo box.

Low: while trying to be clever on Extraction Wave, I neatly avoided an Atlas rocket only to dodge directly into a Phantom who promptly synch killed me.

Couldn't sleep, so I got up to play one more game using the Randomizer. It gave me Arc Pistol Asari Valkyrie vs. Collectors on Ghost. (Gold.)

 

Now the Arc Pistol Asari Valkyrie can be a beast, as TheTechnoTurian proved with her video 'Cheese Goddess Supreme'. But again Collectors it is not a terribly favorable matchup due to the dangers of swarms, Aboms, and Praetorians that deter you from getting in close to detonate BEs with Warp / Annihilation Field.

 

Anyway...

 

High: I solo'd the first 4 Waves until someone arrived, a Claymore Salarian Infiltrator!

Low: I herped to the derpy extreme on Wave 6 Escort and got synch killed by a Scion.

High: But the SI used Missiles and Ops Packs to get through the Escort.

Low: We finished the game but it took 40+ minutes.

High: It was still a Gold Duo, no microphones, vs. an annoying enemy with a not-that-favorable character matchup.

[Salarian Master Race]

Low:  My vanilla Wraith Asari Adept got Jade/Collectors/Gold with one good guy, one crappy guy, and the 4th spot never filled.

 

Low:  Wave 10 Hack the good guy and the crappy guy got grabbed by Praetorians, and I was all alone.

 

High:  I clutched the Hack and cleared the Wave.

 

High:  The good guy and I both had 140k score after full extraction.

 

Low:  The crappy guy had like 30k.

High: Searching pUUG, I found my Phaeston TGI as host in an empty lobby - the previous host must have seen me coming and GTFO'd - to be joined by a TSol, so we started duo-like, and on w2 of Dagger Geth, we were joined by a Javelin TSab (I'm guessing that combo was for CP) and a BatSol - oh well, 3 outta 4 is good  Geth got rekt and in the process learned the awesomeness that is the Phaeston in the hands of a TGI.

 

High: I started a Bronze solo (Giant/Geth) with my Kroguard to farm grabs in the upper control room, and I had 27 when I was suddenly joined by 2 other players: SalInfMR (Asari) and Daemion Moadrin (Shadow). I guess I forgot to go invisible, huh?  Then we rekt the Geth. Afterwards SalInfMR told me in chat that he thought we must have a really awesome team because we "made the game feel like Bronze".       I then set the game to Gold and we were joined by Der Beefman for 2 extremely fast and notably violent games (Reactor Cerb and Hazard White Collectors). Thanks guys
