High: a slew of eccellent games today, with a number of people from around these parts. Thanks everyone!

High: declared an N7 shadow to be honorary krogan. She joined my Krogan in a melee-only tour of Jade, whereas geth could decide whether to die crushed or sliced. I went after armor, she went after shields; I went after primes, she would clean up the mob that had gathered around. Well played!

High: London/Cerberus/Gold, my QFI got 20 headshots by wave 3... and we extracted! (getting that many kills that early is usually a bad sign for me).

Low: in the same game, a Juggernaut that never, ever, ever, ever used heavy melee. Shields down? Better shoot my GPR I. Phantom slashing at me? Better throw a turret at it. Dragoons pounding on my fragile, fleshy teammates? Better get some distance, so I can use that increased headshot modifier on my GPR I... at least grab them phantoms, bosh'tet

High - while pugging Gold with PPR TGI completed collector mastery (4th time)

Low - wave 5 wipeout (ending with me being sync'ed by a Praetorian)

 

weird combination of Lag and crappy Jade camera angles at the end

Highlight: Outscored both a Widow GI (hello Legion ) and a Harrier VI TGI as a Havoc Soldier on Condor/Reapers/Gold. 

 

Lowlight: Had a string of unsuccessful Platinum missions before that.

 

Lowlight: Discovered the horrors of using a Graal off-host with my Sabturian.

 

Highlight: Got the Talon IV and celebrated by carrying a match on Giant/Geth/Gold with my TSol (our Claymore FQuarian Infiltrator mysteriously vanished after Wave 6).

Low: we got London Reapers and had THREE HACKS! All in or around that dreaded center area, including the center Hack on Wave 10.

 

High: somehow we survived all three and not a single person got synch'd.

You didn't mention the low geth on hazard dagger just the two of us.

Hazard Dagger is fine for Geth if you don't have Terminator vision due to easier visibility of Geth Hunters. Just don't hang around the bottom middle of the map in the open if the entire spawn & Primes are hanging around there too.

 

This map also works fine enough for close quarter kits as the Cerberus Vanguard due to his nature of Smashing behind walls. At first it didn't seem like so, but Sinful found many more spots on this map for that tactic.

High:  Got on Xbox over the weekend and played some games with nat in the hat.  We weren't in a party, so pugs got to listen to Drunk Chat for half a dozen games.

 

Low:  My console aim is worse than ever now.

Highlight: A VolusVision™ game. Me as Volus Engineer, with a Valkyrie, an EDIbot, and an FQE.

 

 

Low point: I didn't score anything significant, I was too distracted. This is probably why all-Volus teams do better.

 

Highlight: Getting an AR medal with my Revenant TSol on Ghost vs Geth. This gun really rips up a spawn

 

Low point: Apparently I annoyed the DemoGirl. Never annoy the DemoGirl!

 

[Bud Halen]

High:  Had some time to get in a couple quick games with a well-traveled floozy in a hat.  That Nat really makes the rounds.

 

Low:  Had yet another 'meh' outing with my BatSent.  Thought SG/SMG combo would feel better than my usual AR with him, but meh.  Doesn't help that my Wraith is only at level I.  Ended up unsuccessfully trying to shove the blinky flashlights on London into a SubNet zap trap...which repeatedly turned into shockwave spam.  A BSN fave.

 

High:  My TSent got to witness Nat's BatSol get into a tiff with an EDIBot over the Glacier LZ ammo box.  C'mon SexBot...BatSol nades>>>SexBot 'nades'.  The SexBot got fisted and then bailed.

 

Low:  Tried to light up the killfeed with BatSol FEs...but my TSent just wasn't quick enough.  Kept losing contact.

So my BatSol(*) and nat's TurSol were unable to overcome the Geth menace in an impromptu Gold Duo.

 

(*) Armed with an Eviscerator because apparently that's what I last used on him. Damn you, Randomizer.

 

However we had our revenge in the next game when nat went full retard anti-Geth with the Krogan Vanguard and I was Krogan Shaman Adept (with proper Wraith shotgun). Many booms, would anti-Geth again.

Highlight: Detonating Tech armor on my TSent actually stopped a Phantom sync kill.

 

Highlight: Bumped into a talkative pugger who wasn't annoying and actually gave helpful advice.

 

Funny Lowlight: Got sync killed as a Destroyer by a Banshee on London on the stairs and rolled all the way to the bottom. When the wave finished, I magically rolled back up the stairs to the spot where I died before standing up.

 

Highlight: 2 shot Executioner Destroyer was lethal vs Reapers for everything that wasn't a Banshee.

 

RNGlight: Got the Indra II instead of the Valiant.

High: several Gold Randomizer games with RustyBuckets02, Drake Valencez, and Brann1gan. One of them was even on Condor! vs. Reapers, where we discovered that Ravagers are far more dangerous than any other Reaper enemy on that map.

 

Low: realizing that I've probably misspelled Drake and Brann1gan's names every time I've posted them.

 

Lower: being too lazy to open a new browser window for xbox.com to check my friends list to see how they are spelled.

 

High: a later Platinum game with N7 Lady, Cherries Bravo, and their friend whose name I forgot (and am still too lazy to check on xbox.com in my 'recently played with' list). Cerberus on London. It actually went fairly smoothly until...

 

Low: ... Wave 10 Devices. We got the 1st one done but the 2nd one was right in the middle of the map. N7 Lady and OtherGuy got synch'd or bled out, leaving just Cherries (Juggernaut) to distract enemies while I frantically tried to missile enough of them away to do the damn device. After about six bazillion missiles, gels, and ops packs I did it.

 

High: We actually survived Wave 10 Devices and extracted. Take that, Platinum Cerberus London!

Highlight: London. Geth. Gold. Me with my beloved HFE with Combat Drone specced for Detonate. I am facing the last enemy of the wave, a Prime. I get him down to his last bar of armor, but he has me down to my last sliver of health. I cast the Drone next to him and dive for cover. From cover, I watch as the Drone grabs his attention by shocking him, so he turns...and shoots the Drone. BOOM!

Highlight: Completed a gold Solo on White/Cerberus with the PPR TGI.

 

Highlight: No disabling devices. Wave 6 had me hugging a wall for dear life during a hack in the middle room while Phantoms and Dragoons closed in from all sides though.

 

Lowlight: Missed my last missile during Wave 10 assassination, causing me to spend the next 3 minutes weaving around Phantoms and spamming stim packs like nobody's business to kill that last Atlas.

 

FMLlight: Someone joined literally 3 seconds from extraction, denying me my solo.

High: Finding out I can comfortably solo bronze and silver. Getting there finally

 

Low: My health glitched so it constantly drained no matter what I did. Suddenly, I fell through the map, teleported, ragdolled everywhere. It was hilarious watching my teammates chase me around to revive me and then getting confused as to where I went. Ended up just leaving the match after getting stuck under the stairs leading to the reactor.

Low point: me playing on the pstriple, controllers are weird, my hands get sore from holding them in that position for more than like twenty minutes, it feels so unnatural to me to play a shooter with a controller after years of Mouse + Keyboard, baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw qq #first world problems #tiniest violin #using hashtags while not on twitter in the year of our lord 2015 

 

high point: I unlocked a hurricane III, I guess this is a highpoint, but it is the best UR I have and my turian soldier kinda likes it at least. 

[Quarian Master Race]

Highlight: Met two quarian pugs (QFI and QME) who joined my quarians in a smexy tech melee, banana soup and quarian dodge dodge fest at the ends of waves. With glorious techsplosions everywhere, we murderized some humanity lesser race derperus troops and went on to smash some toasters off of an old quarian colony after that.

Lowlight: They left me and then I got a bunch of terribad pugs (including an N7 12 novaguard with a GPR 1) and dagger hazard/ Cerberus while playing melee QFI. Everyone else died on the w10 hack, but one of the stupid vorcha pugs managed to make it to the circle before getting rekt and ruined my attempt to glitch it. Ergo, I failed because ran out of time about 3/4 of the way there.
