Indeed. As for sucking, well, there's a lot of dead Reapers on FBW whom would probably disagree with that assessment
.
The duo and the all girls' game were particularly fun, though it's a shame we couldn't get the other two asari to participate in the heavy melees. The dagger game was a bit derp for me, but dagger-Cerberus devices suck even when you aren't rubber banding back around corners and down ramps/ ladders to die, or being instagibbed through half the map because you saw a turret 5 seconds ago.
Yeah, I was pretty damn happy to see two more asari in lobby... and then pretty devastated when none of them would engage in happy meeleing between waves. Pugs. Whatcha gonna do.
As for Dagger/Cerberus game... I think it was first time in a long time to finally went on a rage induced missiling spree. Phantom, Atlas, turret, even a freaking trooper... everything was a fair target.
Of course, I regret it when the wave ten rolled around... could have used those missiles for sure. But damn if it wasn't therapeutic ![]()
Highlight: Pugged into a very crazy modded game - Ghost Geth Gold - where there were rather a lot of Hunters, Rocket Troopers, and Pyros on the map at once.
Low point: We nearly made it, but I was the last man standing on wave 10 with one device left. And I mean standing. I literally couldn't move because of the sheer number of Geth around me!
It was at about this point that I began to suspect the game was modded....:

So this image was not under the influence of PCP...in any way?
Highlight: My computer's fixed, so I can finally get back to being a scrub.
Lowlight: Work's going to keep me from doing so at least until the weekend.

Unretouched actual screenshot from wave 3 ![]()
Further Highlight: An invite from DaemionMoadrin to go to Condor. He had his QMI and there was another QMI in the lobby, and the 4th arrived as I was picking my kit - and was a QFI - so I picked my QFI for the sake of equal opportunity and chose the Widow for her for the sake of both thematics and challenge points. Which turned out to be equal opportunity to sabotage, grenade, and generally shoot the silicon out of a bunch of Geth that we met there. A good time was had by all - except the Geth. (Extra bonus, I don't think I was downed even once.)
QMR will be proud ![]()
Hi - I just watched the Illusionist someone here mentioned once. Whoever that is, thanks!
Low - in one of my games today I didn't extract on wave 11. That bonus extraction money is so much more important to me on my new PS3 manifest. To the point where I'll actually clutch more waves then normal sometimes. I've sure changed...
High: Quarian male engineer vs. Geth/Dagger. One Venom shot + incinerate + arc grenade = KILL STREAK
It was glorious and there really is no low point when you see that ****.

Not bad, I almost approve, but still...

That's what happens when you combine the technologies of the two greatest races in the known galaxy
It shoudn't be surprising, really

But it was. I'm not sure I've ever gotten a kill streak without the cobra. If I had I never noticed it before.

It's easiest to do with Arc Grenades, but possible with anything really so long as the kills happen at the same time, even from multiple sources and locations
I've done it with Proximity Mine, but it was sort of a niche build
Highlight:

...because it was with a Locust ![]()
Note, Locust OP, Biovar pls nerf.
Low point: the very slow time because starting at wave 6, the second half of the game was mostly a duo, and sometimes a solo.

The Vorcha Sentinel can do it fairly reliably if he can get to the spawn at the right angle to prime everything with Flamer before tossing in a handful of Cluster nades. Those beautiful fire explosions, *sigh*.
Highlight: Fired up the Xbox for the first ME3MP in a couple weeks (at least). Thumbs needs retraining in muscle memory, so I picked the Venom AIU for laughs. First game, White Geth, not too bad at all. Second game, Glacier Cerb. The game was a total laugh. And best of all, I got a Venom Killstreak ![]()
Low point: The general feeling of scrubbiness because even though the controller feels right, I'm always getting stuck on cover or looking at the ceiling or finding myself unable to coordinate a dodge. And I keep swapping weapons instead of reloading.
Highlight: Testing my new build and realizing it works.
Lowpoint: Disconnecting very soon after.
Just waiting for my roommate to leave so I can hog the living room.
High - completed my third gold match ever and did well.
Low - used the Revenant and hated it, opened a pack and got an upgrade for it instead of a gun I like. ![]()
Lowpoint: I bled out with 3 seconds left on the clock before extraction, as a last man standing Paladin on Condor, mostly because I didn't have my Missile Launcher already out as I made the run up the ramp. It was kinda appropriate for the level of scrubbiness I was playing at yesterday - there was another Paladin in the game who scored about 60K more than me. So many GiPs, so many wipes, so much Server-related bollocks - genuinely no better on Xbox than the much more maligned PS3.
Highpoint: The credits I got from that match unlocked the CLAYMOAR!!!!!! My last non-UR weapon unlocked at last. So obviously my Krogan Sentinel got a run out next. Even at level 1 it's the best gun in the game. And my definition of 'best' is entirely subjective, based on the grin-factor, the noise-factor, the reload-cancel-factor, and perhaps most importantly, the OhMyGodDidYouSeeTheWayHerHeadDisappeared?-factor. Mission Successful. ![]()
Highlight: Found BaileyTFL on Xbox and we joined up for a couple games. The second ga,e one of the pugs from the previous game switched to a BatGuard so we both switched to KroGuards and we got Rio Geth
Another pug joined as a Batarian (Adept I think?) and picked up on the general mood and began punching everything together with us. It was a fast mission but we did laugh a lot, and MRAAAWRRR as well. As a bonus, Rio looks prettier when you have Rage going, it turns the sky a golden yellow.
Low point: I still have to think about where on the D-Pad the Ops packs are....
High point: I finally caved in and tried soloing with Carrier TGI. Got to wave ten on Cerberus/White with not many problems, though wave six targets was clusterfuck, what with those frekkin engineers all spawning on LZ and being surrounded by turrets, phantoms and goons. Managed to got five waves survived medal.
Low point: wave ten was... you guessed it, devices! Disarmed the third one and got shot by an atlas, with no medigels left after aforementioned clusterfuck. Another narrow failure.

I actually got this exact setup a week or two ago, except I got assassination/hack/assassination is my objectives and my solo got interrupted by another player instead of dying. My Atlases kept spawning alone so I couldn't switch the target to a Phantom. ![]()
Highlight: Well, apart from the sudden urge to go and listen to some Johnny Cash, I finally got to play the GI / Talon. I've never used anything other than the Javelin on my main account, but after watching Heldarion's Solo earlier I decided that the time had come to try it out on my alt Xbox a/c. It's only a Talon 1, but man that was fun. Not world record breaking fun or anything because I'm only a scrub, but yeah, seriously powerful. Reactor Hazard / Reapers, with a pretty decent team.
Lowlight: Lost my internet connection with 3 seconds left before extraction. On PS3 I would have laughed, but I really need those credits, for a Talon 2,3,4 etc. ![]()
I never ever promoted my classes and always relied on respec cards if I wanted a different build. Becaues of this, my n7 rating has always been 120 while my challenge points are around 34k. Few days ago, I was in a lobby and 2!! pugs came in who had 120 n7 rating, but with decent amount of challenge points. The fourth pug was a BotB guy with 5000 n7 points. I thought this group setup was pretty interesting as I've never seen 3 people of 120 n7 rating (but with 10k+ challenge points) together. We started the game as U/U/P and got rios collector. Knowing that we could do this with no problem, we all stayed near the middle top LZ and one of us headshotted a collector trooper as soon as they spawned. While we were busy killing things in the front side, that same collector trooper apparently respawned on the side of the map that was behind us and backdoored us all while we were busy killing praetorians. We kept getting damaged, but none of us bothered to look behind and were too focused on killing things in front of us. In a very short while, all four of us ended up dying and stared right at each other, too proud to be the first servant to use the medi-gel to revive the last of us. Just when I was about to use mine my internet disconnected and the room disbanded as a result. Thought it was interesting....I'm thinking the BotB guy wanted us to use it first, whereas the rest of us wanted to prove we're able to carry and thus needed to be revived by someone else ![]()
Rusty managed to kill everyone including himself in the Reactor! During one of our THREE Escorts.
Highlight: Atlas suicide on firebase Vancouver. Putting a Tactical Scan on one Atlas obviously confused it so much that it fell off the map (after taking a few steps from the LZ towards the place I'm standing in the pic). Sadly, I only have a picture of the killlfeed.
