Hack, Packages, Escort


Wave 3 Hack was in the back, past the reactor. We held the line like champs, destroying the incoming Banshees in a few seconds of concentrated powers and weapons fire.

Wave 6 Packages, I picked up the first one and almost blundered into a bunch of enemies, but DrakeValencez cleared a path with a missile and Shield Boosted me.

On Wave 10, after the Escort, I was getting pounded by Ravager fire and *barely* managed to Ops Pack (at health gate!!!) to save myself.

Also I think this is one of those things like a no-hitter in baseball. You can't try to do it; you just happen to luck into the right combination of people, map, enemy, objectives, moon phase, etc. and it happens.

Also I think this is one of those things like a no-hitter in baseball. You can't try to do it; you just happen to luck into the right combination of people, map, enemy, objectives, moon phase, etc. and it happens.

High: RNGesus was kind to me today. Bought 14 Arsenals and got 5 UR weapons. Including a Typhoon IX, followed by a Typhoon X, followed by the Crusader X. Those were my first two maxed URs. Needless to say I freaked out. When I woke up this morning I actually checked my manifest to make sure it wasn't a dream.

 

Low: I want to do a plat solo, but that requires me to to l2p

High: Gold Duo with RustyBuckets vs. Cerberus on Goddess. Me as the Asari Vanguard and Rusty as the Salarian Infiltrator.

 

Asari Vanguard with Acolyte and Incendiary Ammo IV can two-shot kill Phantoms (hit them with an Acolyte shot, then Biotic Charge and the Fire Explosion kills them) which never gets old. Also Lift Grenades are good.

 

Low: During the game Rusty asked me if I had Stasis. I replied no.

After the game I looked at my Asari Vanguard and saw she was sitting at 6/0/6/5/5. Apparently at some point, I gave some thought to 3 points into Stasis, but couldn't decide whether to sacrifice 10% Weapon Damage or 25% Health/Shields. So I decided to sacrifice both and also not have any points in Stasis.

Just recently figured out how to tell blade armor is active. This after multiple occasions of toggling it on and off to search for a visual cue. Searched forums to see if anyone else had this issue. Of course they didn't because it's painfully obvious now after asking someone through the mic. Full disclosure - batarians are my favorite race and it took me 1000+ waves to figure this out. 

 

The upside is you don't need to know what it looks like to get accidental blade armor kills in the feed.

Congrats - the Crusader was my first Level X UR.

 

I had a hot streak too recently, I think I got 4 Javelin upgrades, 1-2 Typhoon upgrades, and a Wraith upgrade in the span of about 1-1.5 million credits.  Probably the best streak I have had in a long time.

Highlight: discovered harrier fury. Incredibly fun to play, and incredibly effective even with a lvl 1 harrier and a lvl 8 fury. 

 

Lowpoint: Escort glitched. I've never had this happen before, but for some reason the escort drone would not move after a few feet. The team tried with one person, two, everyone at once, nothing. 

 

Highlight: Host bit the bullet and left which fixed the problem and allowed the rest of us to finish a fun cerberus/london game. 

 

Lowpoint: Later on, I managed to get 4 grabs back to back (highly unusual for me, and awesome since I'm still working on that challenge), only to get dropped from bioware servers and PSN altogether. So, they didn't register.

High point - A troll-off with Rusty, David Diablo and Smeckie (Platinum/Collectors/Glacier Hazard). We all played Volus kits with armoured compartments - points were awarded to sync-kill feeds and downs via possessed abombs. A very entertaining game but I won in the end

Low point - Playing randomizer matches beforehand and getting the Tempest 2 games in a row

Beat the Heat challenge with marksmad, Brannigan, Drake. At last, a use for Cryo Ammo!

 

Did the opposite challenge with Brannigan and Drake. Flamer + Incendiary Ammo is ridiculous.

 

LOLSilver game with everyone as the N7 Shadow vs. Cerberus. It became a race to Shadow Strike or Heavy Melee enemies the fastest.

Random Gold match I started as the Asari Vanguard, vs. Cerberus on White. I'm happily doing Acolyte + Incendiary Ammo + Biotic Charge to explode Phantoms and 'Goons, when I am stopped in my tracks by an ENORMOUS lag spike. When the game resumes, I have been joined by not one, not two, but THREE Geth Juggernauts.

 

Once I knew the game wouldn't end if I got stabbed or Atlas grabbed, I became hyper aggressive, charging (Acolyte) and Charging (Biotic) with reckless abandon. And... I never did get synch'd, because playing balls to the wall is the way to go.

 

Final score was something like me with 180,000 and the Juggs with about 40,000 each. In fairness they didn't join until Wave 5 and also I was hogging kills with Lift Grenades.

Low : start of wave 1 against Geth, I immediately get 3 rockets to the face. Died in the first 5 seconds of the match. Yeah, that happened.

That could have resulted in a controller getting thrown through the TV if the absurdity of it wasn't hysterical

High: Played again seriously for first time since DAIMP came out.

Low: Having to re-learn movement, and (gasp) aiming in a proper game after spending way too much time in the mess that is DAIMP.

High Point: Starting again on an alt account. I'm really enjoying starting from scratch and being an anonymous pug.

Low Point: Lack of armor penetration.

Low - went back to play single player for a while and all the powers were weird and gross and reload cancelling is all jacked up.

Low - got vote kicked by some nubs for being n7 20, obviously ignoring my high level cp, gear, and consumables.

 

High - dropped into their gip and dragged everyone to victory.

 

Low - dropped into a modded match where everything died in one hit and no enemies did damage.

 

High - I can play too, I switched sides and stunlocked the host with cs spam, then their escort glitched out, they ran out of time, and match ended with zero credits, lol.

 

Low - wasted my last cryo 3 on their modded lobby, gorram it.

Haha actually I have a ton of cryo 4 but for some reason I'm saving all my level 4 stuff till I max my manifest on this account. Any time I have level 2 or 3 cryo though I play cryo soldier, it's my favorite soldier build. I appreciate it though.

High: first Platinum in a long time with two people who I guess want to remain anonymous because they told me they set their party to private to avoid attention. O...K....

 

Anyway, aggro Juggernaut, N7 Demolisher, and Human Sentinel (me) and we were joined by a Geth Trooper, vs. Reapers on Reactor. So of course we held the back room and slaughtered as much stuff as possible that came from the LZ through the Reactor.

 

Higher: Wave 6 *and* Wave 10 Hacks in the Reactor. Wave 6 actually wasn't too bad; an Atlas was potshotting us from the LZ, so someone Missiled it. Wave 10 was nuts... Banshees and Primes and Phantoms all over us, Ravagers blasting away, Missiles flying... I could barely see anything but amazingly no-one dropped!

 

Low: on Extraction with about 10 seconds to go, I pull out my Missile to kill the Banshee who's chasing me and get stuck on cover and she picks me up....

 

Highest: ... or she would have if the N7 Demolisher hadn't been sitting in the LZ with a Missile ready the whole time and killed her. Woot!

High: A couple games in with JRandall, RustyBuckets, and Patapatpatlol, and almost managed to do a game with nat in the hat as well.

 

Low: Randall hasn't written us any limericks in weeks

I'll think about it.. Maybe maybe not... Not a lot of friends and I'm not big on solos, I'm always out of cryo 2 and 3, and I'd have to use the havoc.
