High: pugged with a few new players on Hydra Geth and lead them to credits. Next game, I changed to HE/Avenger (along with the brand new host) and Glacier Hazard/Geth got smacked around. Next lobby was very much OP, 3 random tore up White/Collectors in 17:xx.
Low: I got outscored by one of the pugs in the Collector game! The FTL was strong so I just laughed. 
not really a low tbh just funny.
Low: frustrating game with RustyBuckets02 and two Pugs, both of whom were playing Vorcha Sentinels and spammed Flamer in our faces the entire game. We had plans to get revenge with Snap Freeze kits in the next game, but Rusty had to leave.
High: Afterwards, sitting in an empty lobby, I decided to purchase some regular Spectre Packs and Premium Spectre Packs to refill my consumables, and... maxed my manifest!
Low point: Game was quite laggy, power combos took seconds to activate. Game was against Trollectors (all things considered, it could have been Cerberus).
High point: I wasn't sync killed! We managed to extract despite the almost wave 10 wipe. I'm very glad Giant is a great map for kiting, I'm not made for clutching on host, never mind off host with an ability delay as bad as it was.

I hadn't played Silver in a while, so I gave it a shot. I figured I would make it somewhat challenging by using the Volus Merc with the Locust and Explosive Ammo. Fun game, but the Volus Merc, the Locust, and Explosive Ammo suck even on Silver. Also, pets are nearly useless against Collectors.
Low Point: Bad PUGS!
The next game was a Gold/Reapers/Reactor game with two of the worst PUGs I have ever seen and a 3rd PUG playing a Fury, who was decent, but loved the sweet embrace of the Banshees. One of the PUGs wasted half his rockets killing lone Brutes on Wave 2 and bled out on every single wave. Another one of the PUGs was barely any better, and bled out or got synced on almost every wave - but at least he wasted his rockets killing Brutes as the target objectives on Wave 6. Final scores: those two PUGs combined for 25k points. I'm not even sure they were good enough for Bronze.
High Point: LOLSilver!

If you aren't going to play the Merc correctly (Saber!) then try the Falcon with extended mag, damage barrel, and Cryo ammo. Doesn't do much damage, but will lock down numerous enemies at a time, especially with Shock Drone as well 
High: Managed to avoid the reactor on, you´ll never guess it, reactor. Next time Marksmad .

That's OK, I was happy enough - on that game I got a revive medal, several grabs, and locked the GI in the reactor. Repeatedly. The poor trusting soul.

Does plenty of damage, and will keep mowing mooks down till the cows come home, especially with Shock Drone & Decoy as well - just don't waste points on Shield Boost, ain't nobody got time for dat

High: Krolord w/ Graal + Strength Enhancer vs. Hydra/Reaper/Gold. 50 Melee Kills + 15 revives + 10 HS + did not get sync'd.
Low: Vorcha Sentinel vs. Dagger/Cerberus/Gold. GG, but missed extraction trying to fire explode a flaming phantom with cluster nades. I missed and she made me her b!+ch.
Some days one needs to adjust to the mindset that when you spawn in, you will be the only one left alive
Finally: Periods of pugging are fun, but they are most fun if you don't give a damn about the outcome. And even then, you need to mix in some sessions with friends who are fun to play with and remind you why the game is a laugh.
PS: Apologies to all the grandmothers whom I've tried to teach to suck eggs.
I only have so many consumables, though. lol. But I do get your point.
^ very valuable advice. Knowing when to quit, both in-game and in the lobby, goes a long way in keeping pugging fresh. Sometimes lost causes are fun to tackle, but if it starts being busywork, it's not worth it!

I played a little today (before I realized how angry I was getting over lag). Playing kind of is busywork for me because there are so many rares and URs that I haven't unlocked yet. I'm just gonna play some peecee stuff until I feel like actually playing again, not just grinding for better guns.

Well, using the Saber wouldn't have met my objective of making Silver challenging. I might have even been able to take down a Praetorian without going for a mid-barrage ammo refill, and I would have been deprived of seeing the stares of my teammates who were undoubtedly thinking "What exactly have you been doing for this entire wave" when they know perfectly well that the answer is "Well, that Praetorian got possessed, so......" Unacceptable!
I'll have to try that Falcon setup though. Maybe against Geth. Or possibly Cerberus. I can't imagine a world in which it is remotely effective against Reapers or Collectors on Gold or above.

High: The long threatened VolusDome happened. Smehur 
pinged me, we Volused up (both Falcon Mercs) then DonMarfil joined as the Engineer and TheNightSlasher came as the Vanguard. Glacier Hazard Collectors, of course. The scores were nothing to write about but we came close to full extraction - except that one scrub stepped out of the circle to take a shot at a Captain. But for the sake of kindness, I'm not going to mention her name
Also High: Then we switched to all Krogan, me as Vanguard, Smehur as Sentinel, Don as Shaman, TNS as Warlord. We went UUG but the RNG was feeling sweet and gave us Dagger Geth. There was so much headbutting of Geth and each other, so much rage-powered laughter, that I can still hear Ra-ah-mwah-harh! echoing in my head.
Low: One of the Primes figured out the ramp trick, I couldn't charge him, and a Bomber took me down. I did pay them back, though.

Hey, you're welcome to carry my voluses any time! I need waves with almost all of them, used to hate the little buggers until I was forced to play them day after day by the embarrassment of having played for 3000 hours straight without completing all the challenges. 
Now I grew fond of them, in the ha-ha-ha-praetorian-lazors kind of way; they're also very effective against bad pugs.
