High: AJ, Jugger, & I almost made it through wave 8 at FB Reactor vs bugs. It wasn't even a regular gold match! Of course it wasn't exactly Platinum either.

Or silver. But I did top score using only AV stank field..

Getting that far was mostly through error, but that match never happened. I don't know what you are talking about.

Also, who knew melee SI was so OP.

Good times. My head is reeling and my wife is annoyed since I am pretty useless today. It was worth it though. Those games were a blast.

Just glad we were able to avoid the shuriken.

I've never had so much delight in trolling my team-mates...by reviving them.  But if my AV couldn't take a nap, she wasn't about to let you guys stay down.

 

Actually I forgot the most exciting part: I triggered the rare Scion insta-kill pounding on my AV...while using my OP 'stand near' attacks.

I was a lonely asari valkyrie sitting in a lobby with no one joining, my husband was away and work, and I was planning on firing up the game and playing with myself... figured I could do a few solo runs

 

Then TheNightSlasher's Asari Adept offered to play with me... I thought "well, he's not a turian and I don't usually do this, but... I guess I could experiment" and was maybe feeling a bit... curious 

 

I lit a few candles and poured some wine and set it to collectors/white... I wanted to be accommodating since this was our first time doing an asari duo in a while

We each went down on one another A LOT and got the five revives medal... I heavy melee'd him many times and he returned the favor, TheNightSlasher is a very generous and patient partner in a duo

High: got an arc grenade/Krysae killstreak on wave 8 Dagger/Geth: I believe the spawn was 3 pyros and 2 hunters, I shot twice to proc with Disruptor ammo, the while Incinerate was in midair I shot again. One of the pyros blew up, and the ensuing Tech Burst mopped up the rest.  

 

Low: couldn't join Bricky's game because stuck joining.

 

Also, had to post after TechnoTurian's last one.....thought about starting a whole new thread, who the hell could follow that.

Low point: The Gjallahorn gets its first nurf

Platinum match with EternalBreak, [name withheld 1], and [name withheld 2]. Don't ask me but it was their request.

 

Giant vs. Collectors, because [name withheld 1] wanted to hammer smash them with the Krogan Warlord. The others were Quarian Female Engineer (EternalBreak), N7 Shadow with Javelin (name withheld 2), and Paladin Sentinel with Hurricane (me).

 

Those of you who dislike the Cryo Explosion sound would've hated this match because me and EternalBreak did nothing but alternate Snap Freeze and Incinerate. However, I rather enjoy that sound... it's like breaking all the panes of glass in the world without the messy cleanup.

 

We had a scary moment on Wave 4 when everyone except EternalBreak went down, but he was able to run around the map plinking the enemies with his Acolyte and CSMG (and Incinerate) until they succumbed. Well done!

 

The highlight of this match was Wave 10 Targets. We couldn't agree whether to missile them or not, so by the time we decided what to do, we were being overrun at the LZ. From there, I spotted the 4th target (Praetorian) in the upper control room, aimed a missile, and got a really nice long whistle out of it as is juuuuust managed to zip through the opening to nick the Praetorian and kill it.

We just had a very nice cerb condor gold duo with Juh0M with the paladin and GE

This was pretty amazing with SF setting up to 3 phantoms and chain overload detonating each of them, killing them 3 !!! Those biatchs had it coming

High: (I think) My Scorpion Slayer *ucking *hit up was enough to drive some random pug into a fit of rage and swearing. Didn't last long and the rest of us went on a Collector murder spree that was pretty painless.

 

Low: Are you kidding me? Getting that kind of rage is a rare treat. Ain't no low points in a game like that.

High: Talon (the pistol) FQE in what turned into a Gold solo attempt on Jade vs. Reapers.

The biggest mistake you made is not let rage flow inside you, pull that launcher out and fry the last cannibal. Several times. Then quit and start again.

I can guarantee it would have gone better

WTF??? Trying to play Drellguard, but the charge is never working even though the lag is not that bad. So 3 rage quits for me in a row.

 

Now going for the 4th.

High: After 2 failed attempts managed to finish a plat game. We started with four, but one of us crashed. After that it was pretty much a trio throughout

 

Low: got carried heavily through the match. meh. Also a last second joiner ruined full exfil for us. double meh.

Talon FQE (or any decent weapon really) vs Reapers is a pretty easy solo even on Jade (they lack the firepower that normally makes some objectives painful against other factions). Because of all the health and armour, everything is extremely vulnerable to your powers, and the the only real threat the faction can bring against her (banshee barriers) is dealt with by the Talon and its 1.5x damage multiplier.

You even have a handy anti swarmer ability in the shock turret if you really need all 6 of those missiles :3.

Mass Effect low points?

 

Um.

 

Well.

 

A few days ago I bought the Mass Effect Trilogy on PC from Amazon because why not?

 

Mass Effect 1 and 2 installed perfectly from the discs.

 

But Mass Effect 3 kept asking for ANOTHER product code.

 

So I went to EA Help.

 

Who didn't help much apart from saying that my case has been transferred to some specialists or other.

 

So I started to download it instead because it seemed to work by download but I didn't want to do it on download and meh.

 

Today Origin wouldn't update at all. So I went to EA Help again. Who told me to remove ALL Origin files from my system and effectively begin again, then I'd have to restart and repair my games (Mass Effect 3 not yet downloaded will be done in eight hours though!) - Mass Effect 1's repair alone would be 6.4GB and Mass Effect 2's would be 10.56GB. And I was like wtf I'm not downloading that so I've uninstalled both and I'm currently reinstalling Mass Effect 1 again and Mass Effect 3 IS UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD DURING THAT TIME SO AFJLSDAKLFSAJKDFJLASJFLSLJLKSALFLasfklL STUPID ORIGIN EA BLOODY FASDKJADSJFASDKLDSJKL

High:  Hooked up with AJ where I was hosting (along with a couple pugs).  Decided to take advantage of the uncommon hosting occurrence by trying out an on-host Fury for a change.  Zounds...easy button mode.  Things ACTUALLY got primed immediately, and ALL the Throws connected.  Kabooms.  It even outscored AJ's OP Biotic Orbs -- somehow.  And his little round biotic god had multiple orbs...literally.

 

Meh:  We dove into Nat's lobby from there.  Decided to give my little-used Destroyer a ~different Revenant/Reegar loadout.  Just reconfirmed the futility of trying to connect Revenant spray at longer ranges...as well as my disdain for the annoying Reegar urine stream.  Half the time I can't even tell if it's hitting the target.

 

Beyond atrocious:  Tried my hand with a power-centric BF3 pit stain bandit with Disruptor ammo (ala Nuke76's build).  Got to use 2 gels by wave 2.  Don't know if I scored much beyond triple digits.  Remembered I had 'nades...but in like wave 9.  And that nerf decision to give the Acolyte delayed fire rather than just slowing the rate of fire...that warrants a bat to the effing skull.

The low wasn't that bad. You would have faired slightly better if my shield boost didn't have a 12 second cool down.

Props to the pug for getting you with a possessed abomb though.

Lobbies like those are hard to leave as I stayed up way too late last night.

Running circles around the Reapers in w11 for Vancouver gold match. Having the geth scanner helped and I was lucky I wasn't pocketed from both sides, I tried to spread them out. Incoming marauder, here have a singularity.   Ravager taking potshots. Here have a mouthful of reegar. Brutes and banshees. They were stymied; which way to go?  I screeched to a halt and ran back while running along that below ground level short passage with the ladder leading to the upper floor when a banshee transported right in front of me. Near miss. Made it to the LZ with 2 secs to spare. The other three were just watching.

 

That was fun.
