I rarely bother. Usually when I run with it, it's when there aren't any enemies around, just to speed things up when there's no point in crawling slowly forward.
I will run if things get too messy, as I don't really want to let the team down, but I actually enjoy maneuvering around enemies without being able to dodge or run. It's a nice exercise in timing and positioning.

Low point er soooooooooo low it's unbelievable:
Firebase Glacier Hazard, Collectors, Gold.
First objective was a hack down at the bottom. Was going okay until the giant ball of death came and wiped pretty much all of us out.
Then things went from bad to worse.
By wave 6, all of us were dead but a single lone Juggernaut desperately trying to activate the last device whilst a Praetorian was jabbing at his back. Didn't last long. Mission failure wave 6. My poor Quarian was sync-killed by a Praetorian.
Oh? So no getting sync-killed by a Prime on wave 3?

High: 10,000 challenge points. Geth Bomber points tipped me over into five figures.
High/ Low light// LOL Arc Grenade Kill Streaks.. I have not used a grenade character in months..& months...I would honestly say it has been at least 8 months..since I used a grenade character.....I for whatever reason wanted to roleplay Kal Reegar...So I went with a Male Quarian Engee w Reegar on Silver ( Yeah, I said it..Silver)..cuz I dont like arc nades & I dont like the reegar..at all.. In total..I managed to get 6 kill streaks ..which is funny cuz I cant remember how a kill streak is earned..,,minus missiles.....
Again another very low point I had no idea what the **** was going on but okay anyway
Joined a gold game with TheNightSlasher against the Geth on Ghost Hazard.
My Hurricane kept needing to reload every second or so for some stupid reason so I couldn't KILL anything for the entire game apart from a few situations when the gun decided that I didn't actually have -3 clips and more spare ammo than the Hurricane has capacity. Then there was like 6 waves in a row where no matter how much I shot at something (or kept reloading my gun in front of something) it lost no health and I just got +about200 assist every single time.
I was like wtf is going on here
I mean it wasn't lag-world like I once had against the Collectors on White where I could just run around meleeing everything and never take any damage (though sync kills still worked) but I couldn't deal any damage for about 10 seconds AFTER I had melee'd them, and it wasn't the wtf place where all the audio was somehow doubled and my character kept teleporting places, it was "hey yeah let's stop you killing anything".
It was quite annoying.

In the same game, I had a high point in the form of a killstreak obtained with a combination of Disruptor Falcon, ED and tech burst.

Haha when I joined the game you were just looking down at the floor and I was like, "melee time :D"
I also kept coming face to face with a group with Geth Hunters and Geth Pyros in it which REALLY wasn't good when I couldn't kill anything. The Geth Hunter staggered me so I couldn't dodge the damn fire. 
High/Low: completed the Shuriken challenge. For the second time. I must be wrong in the head 
And not a single Claymore mastery.

Try it on QFI. Play it just like the singleshot rifles, using Sabotage to setup shots and cloak or grenades to hide/cancel reloads.
