GRRRRAAAAAAGH!! HIGH POINT THIS MORNING: DEPLOYED BATARIAN SENTINEL AND HAD GOOD GAME AGAINST CERBERUS!

LOW POINT: HOST MIGRATION HAPPENED TWICE IN SAME GAME! LOST ALL EQUIPMENT AND ALWAYS HAPPENED AT END OF A WAVE! STUPID PUGS!

Tried out a new character to me, Batarian Sentinel on Bronze. Went swimmingly.

 

High: met a leech on Bronze! This adept's score was about 4000, they stood in a corner doing melee (also in hack though) until they died.

Low: met a leech on Bronze! See above. They were doin' it wrong by not leeching on Gold.

Played 3 games with Woodchuck, each game had a pair of random pugs.  The third game stood out because Cerberus/Goddess/Gold, Wave 11, 20 seconds to go, I was the only person left alive, and I had 4 Cobra Missiles left.  I gave myself the Cain for a lol.  One of the random pugs got mad and started bitching at me to only use Console Commands for chat.

 

1 - FACT:  Everyone else was dead.

2 - FACT:  I had 4 Cobra Missiles left.

3 - FACT:  There were 20 seconds left to go on Wave 11.

 

My use of a Cain instead of a Cobra in that situation had absolutely NO impact on any of you, or on the game itself.  In fact, it would have been EASIER for me to simply use one of my 4 remaining Cobra missiles.  I used Cain for a lol, and you provided me one.  You are just mad because my Adas Quarian Marksman outscored you by 50k points, and are looking for an excuse as to why.

UPDATE:  Actually you are lucky that you were already dead, or else I would have changeteam and killtarget on your ass over and over again until you run out of gel and quit.  I almost did that on Wave 6, since neither one of you pugs helped with the escort, and the one time that you did step inside the circle it was an accident

High: insane Platinum Condor Collectors game with ctc91, Brannigan. The three of all all played Geth. We were joined by some random PUG with a Vorcha Sentinel, Carrier Assault Rifle level 1, and Medigel Transmitter.

 

Low: I played like a chump and had to get revived a lot. We ended with 30 revives among us (probably more but the medals only count 5/10/15).

 

Low: that PUG never used his Medigel Transmitter and I know I was bleeding out near him a couple of times.

 

High: epic Wave 9 holding of the line at the true LZ while swarms of Phantoms funneled towards us.

 

High for the PUG: he could afford a Premium Spectre Pack *and* a Veteran Pack after this match! I hope he got a better Gear item.

Stepping out of my comfort-Jugger-zone, I've now ventured out to try new characters. Last night, it was the Krogan Shaman whom I wanted to test in Private first, so I'd learn how he functions.

High: It turned out to be my first non-Jug bronze solo.
Sure, it took 28 minutes, and some loud, high-pitched scared screams were involved (damned stealthy brute), but for me, there were no lows in this one.

 

And as I still play on my husband's account: no, it was not Arkhne himself doing this, he would've been done in 15 mins.

Congrats! I would say avoiding getting a Krogan sync killed in your 1st attempt is another high.

Good: Won a Platinum game and a bunch of Gold games in a row.  Guy using Volus Mercenary with an Arc Pistol somehow got top score.  Got N7 Destroyer to go with my Typhoon, but it's only level 1 so I don't know if it's the best choice.

 

Not good: Almost lost to Collectors 3 times.  The difficulty goes up by 1 every time they're involved.

Volus Merc is a very powerful kit, and Arc Peestol is OP.

High: Played some gold matches with some pretty decent players.

Low: The lobby was terribly laggy. One time I was there in the hacking circle for half a minute while dodging enemy fire and banshee attacks. I got downed multiple times and the game refused to acknowledge that last second to clear the objective.

High: had a decent gold against geth and even though it was laggy, my N7 Paladin managed to deal some decent damage. Fun match, that one.

Volus Merc is a very powerful kit, and the weakest kit on the entire game, but all kits are effective, especially if you put the Arc Peestol on them, because Arc Peestol is OP.

I think marksmad mixed up the Volus Merc with the Sabre Volus (a/k/a Volus Engineer) who is indeed a force to be reckoned with.

 

You could put the Arc Pistol on the Sabre Volus but you'd never end up using the Arc Pistol because duh, Sabre.

Ok right thread this time.

High point happened after my second game of the night, host migrated in the lobby while I was switching gear around, got the double equip bug. Spent around 6 or 7 more matches after that abusing grenade kits with scanner to beeline to spawns and groups and grenade them to death before anyone else could. Edit - had to skip one of the consumables, skipped the weapon amp each time.

High: for whatever reason, I decided to host a UUP, which turned out to be a Jade/Collecturds. First time ever. Decided my BW DAI would be the perfect guy to try and tackle this. And he did it admirably. In a group of pugs, he pretty much carried the entire first three waves by himself and killed all four targets on wave three without missiles. By that time, only player left was puggernaut with no equipment and when I went down on wave four, I simply decided to forfeit it. I may have been able to carry a wave or two more, but I would ultimately fail. Still, it was a good practice. I'm pretty confident that, with good team, I can actually tackle platinum now. And this was DAI, one of the "weak" characters... I think there are characters I can do even better with.

 

Absolutely lowest: for bragging rights... I finally had to acknowledge the warning given to me by mod some two weeks ago. I feel I need to drink my brains out now.

Not really a high point specifically for me but I had some fun.  Met a couple of players in public match. Played a few games with them. One of them wanted to show how easy the geth are with Krogan Vanguard. I already knew but though I'd have some fun anyways. One of them picked the krogan warlord. He had no idea about the 3 hit hammer combo which I found out earlier that day. When I pointed it out to him he had a blast.

 

We wrecked them. Me running around with Korgan adapt hitting everything with warp. Him running around with warlord krogan golfing them to death. And the 3rd was biotic charging as a Krogan vanguard. It was a lot of fun.

That's simply my preference. He (volus engineer) slays with pretty much anything. And I'll throw my hat in to the volus merc is a good kit crowd. Anyone who can so easily trivialize phantoms and all geth units can't be but so bad. People hate on decoy and drone for various reasons but they make mooks so much easier to deal with en masse and bosses are easy to avoid anyway (with the possible exception of banshees). Having a banshee slapping at a combat drone would be a little ridiculous.

They used to do it a long time ago, before a balance change. Many People were mad that Bioware nerf the pets, but I think it was necessary.

Yeah, having a pet user in the team kinda trivialized games VS Reapers, as a Drone could perfectly occupy 2 Banshees at the same time for 15-20 seconds. We had less OP guns and characters at the time so it didn't feel so easy but now it would be way too OP, I agree.

Geth White? Saleng in the team? Yeah, I remember those times. I've tried hugging the counter like two or three times and then I got bored and started using the GI with a Falcon in gold.

Same here. It was good for credits grinding and unlock things but it became quickly boring.
