High: Wave 11, Cerberus Platinum, White, we stood by the stairs and obliterated the endless stream of Dragoons and Atlases. It was super satisfying.

High: all Asari platinum game with Brannigan, ctc91, Drake, vs. Reapers on London. The game was pretty routine but I rediscovered the joy of the Asari Huntress Adept with Sabre and Warp Rounds IV.

A stream of great games in the past week, playing Gold with friends:

High: I'm now able to handle Gold with good teammates, ie. players who rofl-stomp me in skills and CPs like there is no tomorrow. Have had awesome and fun Reapers+Geth games with rossini, Monomyth, Malaclypse, and various drop-ins.

 

So I'll never top score with these guys, all fine by me, as I still do a satisfying amount of killing for my part, do all missions (and curse the Pugs who don't), and revive people. And we always extract.

My stronger point seems to be staying alive (being careful or running away), excluding the occasional banshees' loving hugs.

 

High: Was also able to play a fullyPug Gold well (with a varied-level team, when a trusty friend got disco'd).

Low: Could not handle Geth Gold with my newly unlocked Paladin. Was dropping dead as if my Paladin had his knees chopped off. Solution: give controller to husband.    I was ok on Silver with him, so will need to practice him there more.

High: Getting my schooling arranged to have my second career up and running when I retire from the first one.

Low: Not sure I'll ever have time again to pick up a controller.

Congratulations for your success, but it doesn't work like that. "Playing the weapon instead of the kit" means that you're using heavy weaponry on kits that, apparently, aren't supposed to do that - and that excludes soldiers. Try something like this.

Yeah, I guess that's true. I always wanted to try the Claymore Fury but never did so. Doing no-fitness builds is beyond me (I'm too much of a noob to do so).

Then a teammate goes down to a phantom. i got to get him, Phantom blindsides me, and staggers with a cut. Teammate had no more gel, so instead of my X button letting me take evasive action, character will try to revive again. I got stabbed, he bled out, other two teammates went down without the OP TGI to carry. Fission Mailed.

 

I'm going to kill someone if we get this f'king do-everything X button again in andromeda because that **** specifically has been killing me since early access. Literally years.

It has been specifically complained about since the first Mass Effect. It WILL NOT CHANGE. Have fun dying to the omnibutton some more in Andromeda.

1/ after 530 hours, I finally completed the over-cover grab challenge and finished Combat Mastery.  The winning grab was my QFE dispatching a Marauder on Giant, at the bottom of the ramp closest to the LZ.

2/ stephenw32768 [Tactical Scan] Geth Prime
Happened on wave 5 or thereabouts, I must've scanned it pretty much just as it was about to explode.  It was a total steal, too

3/ decided that I'm comfortable enough at playing QFI to no longer need six ranks of fitness, so I rebuilt her with four fitness ranks and put the points I saved into weapon passives instead.  Played three games with that build yesterday evening and wasn't a total liability, so I'll keep it for a bit and see how I get on.

I also saw you get a TacScan kill on a Banshee. TacScan kills are awesome.

High: several entertaining and fun Golds with a team of friends. Much boom!

Low: Gold Reapers Jade became pretty messy at w8-10, with Devices on w10, making me  look around all paranoid  improving my awareness of the surroundings.

 

High: Had a Duo Gold/Reapers/Giant with a friend. No sync kills, still had several missiles, gels etc. left when done. Teammate is a team to his own, but I'm still very happy I managed to keep up as a Shaman.

Low: me running away from banshees after getting mighty hurt, eeeeking.

I love Carnage. It is my favourite power. If I could have no other power, I would still be happy if I had Carnage. Flamer+Carnage is so beautiful on Vorcha Soldier... all those pretty Fire Explosions.... it brings tears of joy to my eyes. And then the KroSol with his Inferno Grenades.... he laughs at the Cannibals as the roasting Brutes keep his toes warm. And and KroGuard, Carnage+Biotic Charge, he gets to see the pretty sparkling Fire Explosion up close! For all the ways I love Carnage, they are two more for all the ways I love Fire Explosions. This is why Vorcha and Krogan are so awesome, they understand my love of Fire, and so I love them back.

Yes, fantastic games yesterday evening with you and the gang.

I quite enjoyed that Jade game personally (Jade/Reapers is a combination I rather like), though I know everyone else was suffering, and wave 10 devices on Jade are never easy.  I think my HAdept was the only character in that game with a dodge; perhaps rossini and Blackout were having some lag-related problems with no-dodge characters?

Incidentally, I find your host to be a pleasant and lag-free experience, on the whole.  I do sometimes have trouble with ops packs not registering; aside from that, it's so smooth that it's barely different from playing on-host.

High: Fighting Collectors on Ghost Hazard. Everything went swimmingly and I felt I played quite well.

 

Low: Scoreboard told me it was lolsilver.

High point:  Signing off last night with an all Krogan soldier gold game versus Collectors on Glacier Hazard.  Without really pushing ourselves we ended up with 10WS, and finished in 15m and a few secs.

 

Low point:  Failing on W10 Platinum having completed the objective.  All I needed was one more rocket.
