I like watching Twitch sometimes. I usually go for people have the camera video. It's tough to know which ones have really played it for the first time. I always watch the mutplayer to get notes. What about you. Do you watch the broadcasting?

Yeah its fun when i get bored or burned out on playing i just chill and drink a milkshake and watch some broadcasts but i haven't even beaten the game yet. I take my time apparently a little too much but sometimes ill have to click off so i don't see anything new. No new dungeon, No dragon fights (I plan to to save atleast 7 dragons for after the 8 main quests and whichever inner circle quests i feel are worth it for the first playthru. Second playthru is always better as you now how to do things, don't have cated items clgging your inventory or don't screw up with the whole crafting mechanics that makes you bounce in and out of menu's so you can move over to the specified area. In Skyrim it took a bit of learning (in a game?) to even figure out smithing and it was quite interesting instead of click click clickety jiminy cricket ya done.

Here Here. Where yu disappointed? I was expecting a video link to a romance scene or something. No spank you very much. Atleast the romance scenes are cartoonish and not weird ad serious like in the Witcher. GTA 5 knows how to get down tho. Ccant wait to bang my first hooker in that new first person mode. lol

Collecting bear pelts, picking up rocks and flowers, closing rifts, etc...are boring enough when *I* do it, I think my brain would melt out my ears if I had to watch someone else doing that stuff.

I'm really not into watching. There's no point if I don't get to play.

It's always been boring watching someone play any Dragon Age game. Inquisition plays better than it looks IMO.

I've never umderstood the appeal of watching someone else play an RPG. So when watchability was mentioned as an argument in favour of the voiced protagonist, I remained unconvinced.

I suspect there's a significant correlation between people who do like to watch and a preference for the voiced protagonist.

Well, my ex watched me play BW games.....

Only to make sure I didn't "cheat" with a video game character, though.

It's like watching a movie or reading a book about someone's adventures, instead of writing your own fanfiction. Not sure what's so difficult to understand.

But unlike a book or a movie, much of an RPG's content isn't visible (as it occurs inside the player's head).

Is this like cuckolding?  My wife wants to watch me watch these videos when other stuff is going on in the background.  She seem to think that I'll be distracted.

I don't think that's really much unlike a movie -- you frequently have to provide your own reasoning for characters' motivations and actions in these, because the exposition only goes that far if there's one at all.

To me it feels like watching someone read a book or watch TV. I think that's my source of difficulty with it.

Hmmm must say I don't really see how that'd work -- I'm trying to picture watching something like that, and the person watching the movie/reading the book isn't part of the movie/book's story (unless it's the Neverending Story, I guess) so it just feels like focusing on the wrong thing.
