I had a few issues with sound syncing in the cut scenes, but managed to suffer through it until the game auto saved and I quit out to restart the game. Upon restarting, I chose to Resume my main game. The game then crashed to BlueScreen and forced my entire computer to reboot. Further attempts at loading and starting a new game result in a BlueScreen, not always at the same place, but usually during the beginning cinematics (if a new game), or during the Loading screen (if a saved game).

I'm disheartened at this turn of events and wish to know what I can do to fix it, if anything. Am I sol until a patch is released? I didn't have anywhere close to this type of experience with the Dragon Age release...

Anyway, here are my relevant specs as requested in the stickied thread:

I purchased ME2 on Steam for PC.

Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz, 2500 MHz clock speed, 4 GB of RAM

ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series 512 MB

*There is no Driver Version listed in the Summary for the Configuration Utility. However, Device Manager lists the Driver version as 8.681.0.0.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit
Direct X 10.0

The Configuration utility references my audio device as Realtek High Definition Audio at version 6.0.1.5998. As far as I know its onboard audio for my Gigabyte EP43-UD3L motherboard by Realtek. I downloaded and installed the latest drivers I could find on the Gigabyte website, but it actually seemed to exacerbate my earlier syncing issue.

Well not quite your problem, but at least you got to play. I launch the game, when it says "press any key to continue" it goes the the cerberus message thing and whether i click continue or cancel, i blue screen, did it back to back 3 times already. Kinda pissing me off.
