I had started slaying things, leaving my wife behind at the starting area, and a few of the enemies totally ignored me and ran for her even though she hadn't moved yet and they had no line-of-sight to her.
One of them was some furry cat-like monster, and it got stuck on a wall, then went inside it and never came out the other side. I couldn't target it with tab or anything; as near as I can tell, it despawned. The key still dropped at the end of the area.
I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat.

I know. Sorry. I just sort of felt it was barely noteworthy because hidden animals were suspected of being a cause of the issue, and I wasn't sure where to post it. I am sure Bioware already has the cause determined and is finalizing a fix, we just don't know when we'll get it.
Also, the agro thing is weird. I am calling shenanigans on that.
I once got the key while there were still enemies alive.
After openning the door the stopped moving, T-Posed, then turned into smoke and blew away in the wind.
It was poetically stupidly incredibly hilariously something.
