Briala

Really? You're going to entrust her with all your resources? This isn't a job application you give to someone you barely know lol. It has to be someone within the organization. "Here you go complete stranger, here's all our resources, our defense plans, tactics. Use at your own discretion". Briala is formidable, but I'd never allow her to lead our spies.

Yeah. My Inquisitor is an elf, so I'm good.

Gaspard is on the throne, Briala owes my Lavellan. Serving as a spy for the Empress and having access to the Eluvians make her an excellent candidate, and our interests are aligned as far as the elves are concerned.

Bull is a rather inspired choice, if Sera grew up a bit she might do a good job.

I'm serious she already has a surprisingly competing operation with the Friends of Red Jenny.

Candidates (lore-wise):

Varric

Sera

Iron Bull

Briala

Scout Harding

Agent Charter

Likely not candidates (because of possible choices):

Varric (can be gone)

Sera (may never even be recruited)

Iron Bull (not recruited/left Ben Hassreth)

Briala (may be standing directly behind the throne / dead)

They could, perhaps, have a contingency/hierarchy/choice you make yourself, but that would require more voice-acting etc, so may not be likely.  Hard to say.  Would be cool though!

I do think it'd be great to have a Divine-based DLC where you get a new mage, warrior, or Spymaster depending on who is Divine.  Plus a new mage regardless cuz Solas.  (Morrigan is still hanging out with the Inquisition for now... could be her?)

Sera could possibly make a good replacement, if a very chaotic one.

Josie's hair would probably go white within a year though...

I'd have Leliana pick her successor, she knows her people and she knows what is involved when it comes to stuff like esponiage and information gathering.  She knows her own people's strengths and weaknesses and she knows who would be best to replace her.

Charter, the agent Leliana puts in charge of Caer Bronach.

I'd probably take whoever Leliana suggested as her replacement. Fairbanks would be an interesting candidate. He seems like a guy who knows the common folk, and is experienced in guerrilla tactics.

I'd imagine a lot more murders would take place under his watch.

I want her incompetent butt out of my Inquisition, even her not being the Divine in my world.
Dont even care who takes as Spymaster.

How was she incompetent? She made few mistakes.

I'd much rather see the Inquisition disbanded. And it doesn't matter anyway, since mine was diplomacy-oriented, no blackmail, etc. Leliana would pick her successor, I assume. Not that anything ever depended on you here.

I feel like I can put Iron Bull as spy master. He's Ben- Hassrath, knows tactical combat, and he's a spy himself. There's no rule stating you need to know the orlesian Game to be able to succeed, you'll need to command agents, listen to ideas (krem says he listens and will listen to ideas).Bull is actually much smarter than he appears. Harding is too inexperienced for spymaster, she's a great scout. Lol at Cole! He cares too much and will falter at tough choices, and has 0 tactical ability. Zevran is a better agent than leader and commander of a spy ring. Varric is too emotional and a softy.
By process of elimination, Bull appears to be the best in my opinion of all the choices.

Does that mean Krem can take his place as my party's two-handed warrior? ^_^

Few mistakes?
She pulled out her scout because they were disappearing, excellent logic, and she didnt even commented this fact with the others, only after the attack.
She couldnt get the real background of Blackwall and Solas, she decided to investigate his village after he left the Inquisition, another excellent exemple of Logic here.
She killed Natalie after my Inquitior said to separe her, she disobeyed a order from her superior, didnt thought about witness seeing only the Inquisitor, her and Natalie going in to the church, imagine how the Inquisition reputation would be hurt if its discovered that we are killing Chantry sisters, she kills Natalie with the worst way, sliting her throat is going to spread a lot of blood, why not break her neck? And not forget that she did not to hide the body and the blood.
So she is incompetent, and I would like her far away from my Inquisition.

I still say at the end of the game the Inquisition should have disbanded.  That was the whole reason they took the name.  Since the first Inquisition laid down their swords and disbanded when their work was done.  But not you and your Inquisition.  Nope you will continue.

since we did nothing inquisitorial the name was a joke from the start anyway.

Best reason to get her away by making her the new Divine, eh?

I'm guessing you wouldn't trust any of her suggestions for a replacement as well, right?

Leliana as Divine goes against everything I believe, except the part  where she opens the Chantry for other races.

Its really depends on who she sugest, and I wonder to who her replacement would be truly loyal.

Shale all the way.  Haha!

Iron Bull makes a lot of sense - he is smart enough to coordinate everything.

Zevran could be on board to handle the wet work, and Scout Harding should be promoted to oversee and coordinate field agents.  Josephine is around as a good resource.

Oh, and as far as Leliana goes, I hope that the expansion or DLC presents me with an opportunity to either humiliate her (by thwarting her every desire), throw her into prison, to eliminate her.  She ended up being one character I despised.  I really grew to dislike her.
