I've played this game 300 hours so far and I have only done about half the main quest, LOL. I'm lvl 23 playing on nightmare mode, and I completely destroy anything in my path, LOL.  I had to start playing solo just to have a challenge, LOL. I've been playing RPG for 30 years plus, and I have a blast playing games like this. The problem is though i'm to much of a completion-est  in games like this, and before I know it my character is kicking ass.   :)

I played the game on Normal, and shortly after Hard and Nightmare... My impression of the gameplay kept improving with each jump because it is too much fun to be a completionist on the hardest difficulty, best game balance.

My only pet peeve is that Nightmare takes a bit of grinding just to be able to comfortably start your first main quests.

Normal difficulty doesn't count, each jump in difficulty takes 2x more playtime.

Can't believe you didnt get bored to death on that difficulty.  Literally can 2 man the game at 23 Normal lol

120 hours seems like a speed playthrough to me if you truely did every area.

I have close to 400 hrs in 3 play throughs so far, 2 of which were on Nightmare. I am also a completionist, but didn't get "everything my first run. Still I get what you're saying OP, half the fun in this game is exploring, but by level 16 it starts to become a non-challenge. I'd solo more but I love mixing up my party to hear banter I haven't heard yet. The first time I heard the "hairy eyeball" conversation between Sera and Cassandra I about fell out of my chair.

I did every area, and am just missing some bottles and mosaic pieces. And I'm just at 100 hours. And I thought I took my time with everything...I'm at level 25.

How even? I haven't finished my first run yet because life, but I'm at about 105 hours on Nightmare, and just have Hissing Wastes, most of Emerald graves, and a couple more Emprise dragons, plus some minor collectables bits, and the last couple main quest missions. I'm thinking around 140-150 hours is a good estimate. And I always tend towards the high end of the length scale, since I tend to obsessively comb every square foot of map. I have no idea what I'd have to be doing to manage 300 hours without just spending hours at a time gazing at some vista.

180+ hours clocked, 1st run on hard, but half the time I have my game paused while I'm busy with something else or dozing off. In all honesty I'm just stalling finishing because my game is bugged and I can't complete one quest (Servis won't show up in the Western Approach) before I go beat up Coryphepuss. My sister asked to watch me play but I didn't have anything to show her since all the maps are clear of rifts and all the dragons are slain. She goes, "this game doesn't seem very exciting". Then she brought up Oblivion, which she used to watch me freak out about when she was younger. I guess there really is no sense of urgency or danger in DA:I.

I did it on nightmare, and did like 90-95% of everything.

134 hours.

The only things I did not do are the mosaics.

Is there a reason you scream LOL in caps after every statement? It's almost like you're looking for approval for your boasting...

I'm pretty sure I would have a permanent facial tick if I spent 300 hours in one play through. Before this game I considered myself a completionist, but you put me to shame, OP.

finished at 180 hours with most codexes read and NOT all quests done.
On a sidenote i do not always run in games, i admire the scenery and the little details devs put into. DaI has lots of them! do not forget to look at the sky!

646 hours and 7 playthroughs done, working on 8. Two were speed runs. I like seeing what is different with each race and class.
