I really really miss the level of detailed spiciness they put into that game, which we're not really seeing anymore. Decent effort on companion chit chat, but way too emo, not enough funny and lightheaded. There was a reason people's favourite characters were Zevran and Oghren and Sten and Morrigan, they well solidly built. I don't get that sense from DA:I. I just get an overall somber feeling, like people are walking on eggshells all the time. So far the only light moment I've had was the book interaction between Cassandra and Varric, and that got ruined by Varric's bitter comment at the end of the scene.

I just wanted to say this, feel free to flame me now with the usual "ZOMG UR A BIATCH DIS IS DE BEST GAME EVAH!".

I loved all that in Origins and I do really miss having a mabari...  Hopefully they will add more of this sort of fun stuff into Inquisition in the DLC and will hopefully include it in DA4 from the start.  I do still love Inquisition though but I agree it could have been even better, if that makes sense.

Devs forgot it's a game... full doom and gloom without apparent reason isn't appealing. It was appealing in ME3 where full doom and gloom was appropriate cause it was the end of times, enhanced by all the settling of loose ends here and there, it created a very climatic scale that lead to.... an anticlimatic disappointment, but nonetheless, the full doom and gloom worked there, it really isn't working on DA:I.

I think DAO had way more doom and gloom, real tragedy. They also found room for great humor though. Tough decisions. Great battles (Otagar still is the best battle in DA history with Denerim in 2nd place).

Inquisition had some fun moments especially if you play a humorous inquistor (my dwarf is awesome) but the character interaction is rarer so there's fewer chances for awesome dialogue I think.

Or maybe it's just broken up by 50 hours of fetch quests :P

I doubt it. They're already busy making ME4, on Frostbite 3 let's mention. The same engine.

They were busy making ME4 the entire time DA:I was being made. You know company (get this) can not only have more than one development team but also can work on more than 1 game at a time right? They've got 800 employees. Not all of those are server technicians for SW:TOR.

That to me ain't needed. It was little comedy for a serious game (which is great in small doses)but I would hate to see it throughout a whole Dragon Age game. You rarely see serious games anymore. You got ME3,DA:I,Watch Dogs,Heavy Rain,Medal of Honor 2010/Warfighter,& a few others.A lot games are throwing up comedy at almost every turn.
